Omg I would give -1 stars if I could. My husband had to go…read moreout of town for a funeral and wanted to plan something special for me for Mother's Day. He doesn't know anything about spas or pricing, so he called over to the four seasons. All they had available was a 20 min hydrofacial (bc it's a busy day, duh). The issue is that they charged THREE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS (yes, you read that right - $375) for a 20-MINUTE hydrofacial. Aka someone rubbed lotion on my face for 13 minutes. when I inquired about this very exorbitant bill, they said - this was the price agreed upon via email, according to our dynamic pricing. (In a very rude, snide tone, with a fake smile). I called my husband who said - yes, I agreed to that, but I was told you would have access to very nice amenities for several hours. LOL! Very nice? Yes, I know the four seasons name SHOULD have very nice amenities. This locker room was so small and so crowded that I couldn't even walk 1 step without bumping into someone. The person giving us a tour kept apologizing for how messy it was ("sorry, it's a really busy weekend for us") - no towels out, etc. there is a small hot tub - sorry, that's not exactly novel. There are two lounging areas. One with three chairs that look out onto... nothing, just a window with frosted glass that you can't see through. Six lounging chairs, and one small table outside that does have a nice view. (This is the only view in the entire spa). They have a small sauna room also. Nothing out of the ordinary, and not up to expectations for what is supposed to be a four seasons spa. On top of that, every single person in that spa was sitting/lying scrolling on their phones. In what world are phones allowed in a spa, let alone in a "clothing optional" hot tub room??! So I paid four hundred dollars for 13 mins of a facial massage (which WAS nice) and then sat outside at a random table for an hour. left quickly because there wasn't anything else to do to kill time. I just cannot believe that a place can charge that much for a service. Totally inappropriate, waste of money, do not recommend.

I loved the Spa at the Four Seasons Hotel in Baltimore. It's beautiful and very relaxing. The staff…read moreare kind and helpful and they were celebratory when they found out we had just gotten engaged at the hotel. My attendant was awesome and I felt very welcomed. My favorite part is the vitality pool, heated stone chairs, sauna, and lounge. It was great to relax with those amenities. Everything was extremely clean. The vitality pool/sauna area is separated by gender and clothing optional. However, phones are allowed, and while it is fine to have one in a robe pocket, phones should not be out when others are around, especially in an area like that. But that is allowed, so be wary. Our massages were fine, but nothing we would rush back to or pay for again. I'd want to try a body scrub or wrap, my typical spa service. I'd also love to visit in warmer weather and use the outdoor pool. I am very much looking forward to returning.

Rooms are well-appointed and spacious. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was perfect. There was a crayon on the floor, which gave me pause on the cleanliness, though other than that, the room seemed very clean. There is plenty of storage, but I can always appreciate more hooks. We utilized the spa, which was awesome, and appreciated the in-room dining. Our in-room dining server was extremely friendly and funny, which was nice, though our breakfast order was extremely delayed. At least it was good, which is more than I can say for the hotel's other offerings. The hotel restaurants, while elegant with fairly good service, provided food and libations that were mid, if I'm being generous. This was a celebratory stay, and nothing ruins that more than inferior food, which we experienced. Valets were friendly and funny, though they forgot to extend our parking, so we ended up with a ticket (which was adjudicated, but still, not something you expect from the Four Seasons). Overall, I do think this is an excellent hotel and I am definitely looking forward to returning, though I will absolutely be dining and drinking elsewhere.

We self parked in the lot attached to the hotel and only paid $25 per day, which is pretty cheap compared to parking prices at the Philly location. The hotel is actually on the harbour, so the view is gorgeous and its easy access to all the things on the harbour. Check in was easy. Staff greeted us and even upgraded us to a balcony room. The room was beautiful. There was a large tub, rainfall shower, tv in bathroom mirror, separate toilet room, plush bed, min bar, robs, slippers, closet space, wall mirror, desk, chair w/ chaise, and nice size balcony with table & chair. The hotel sent up chocolate covered strawberries and a note for hubbys birthday, which was a nice touch. We visited the pool, which was breathtaking. Its a long infinity pool that overlooked the harbour. They have a bar/poolside restaurant and semi private cabanas. I rented a cabana for us and it came with prosecco, guac + chips, water, and a fruit platter. The guac was some of the best Ive had. We also ordered lobster rolls which were THE BEST ive ever had also. The pool staff was so kind and attentive as well. This hotel is literally perfect, especially for a staycation. The only things I did not like were the robes come in one size and run small. Also, I dont feel the cabana's are properly priced. I paid almost $500 and it wasn't really luxurious. When you think of the Four Seasons, you think top tier. The cabana was simply basic for the price. Could have been better. But aside from those two things, the hotel for sure lives up to its name. Forgot to mention, we ordered breakfast via room Service and it was amazing. The croussant waffle is life changing lol

I felt rejuvenated afterwards. The massage was not as good. I warned the therapist that I have arthritis and needed a gentle massage. I said it three times in the process of the treatment. Regardless, the therapist put her full weight on me and shook my leg and knee out, which was painful. It was too fast for me to say anything, but it was hard for me to move after the treatment. She did not check in with me during the treatment. She also didn't bring water to me, but left it in the next room. I stumbled walking to the room where she left the water. Lastly, the receptionist smirked at my question about the other business there, and gave me a cryptic answer. I didn't feel welcome following up.

I was a little thrown off by the comfort of the massage therapist though. She had on casual, everyday clothes rather than a traditional massage therapist's attire and wasn't very personal. Also, the music didn't seem to be therapeutic. When I'm getting a massage, I really like the whole experience of it being professional and even spa-like. She did a great job, except that I wound up in more pain upon leaving. I may have been tense during the massage as it was a bit chilly in the massage room...
