The food is really great, and I came in a bit skeptical. But he Gnocchi and the Pork Chop are both really, really good. The service is also good. Alicia, our server, was attentive and friendly. If it's cold out, it is a bit chilly in the area to the left of the entrance.

After hearing many mixed reviews from friends and family we decided to try Toscana ourselves. It's located in a business and residential area so parking can be tough to find. The restaurant is open and modernly decorated. There is also outdoor seating which appears to offer fires/warmers making late summer/early fall seating pleasant. My dining companion and I opted for classic meals of veal parmigiana and scallops. The scallops were seared to perfection and flavorful, the veal was overcooked but the tomato sauce was full of flavor and tasted fresh. The recommended wine pairings were a nice accompaniment and I appreciate the waiters insight. I am thankful to have another fine dining option in the Lansing area so we will probably visit again.

We had the most wonderful experience at Toscana. It was our first time going to the restaurant and the service was impeccable. We started off with the calamari which was perfectly crispy white a wonderful salsa and sauce. My husband got the Tortelli which included a big slice of crispy pork belly and the mushrooms were delicious. I ordered the prawns and scallops in purgatory which had a wonderful panettone stew and polenta which juicy jumbo prawns and glistening scallops. Overall a wonderful meal. We ended the night with a trio of gelato and the peach crostada which had the right level of sweetness and amazing textures with the pistachios. Will be back again to try their brunch.

The place was very nice inside. General impression was over priced food that is meant for people that are staying at the hotel. Parking was expensive. Going there only for dinner and the only lot that has space was $10 minimum parking. Offering bubbly or still water at $6 a bottle was pretty steep. To then find out they had tap water available. Charging for a bread basket that is normally complimentary at other locations was steep. Main courses were good but not for the price charged. Midway through the appetizers they started clearing out plates to prep for the arrival of the main course. We were still working on the apps.

Service is great if you sit at the bar. Enjoy a beautiful wine list and a bite in a beautiful setting. The truffle risotto is hot, balanced and pairs well with medium rare waygu steak and the olive and artichoke tapenade.

Very very nice staff. Came here for a work lunch and they were super curtious and well organized. Food came out very fast and in batches based on the dish requested. The decor is pretty on board with what I imagined going in to eat. Per my coworker dinner is usually a lot better in terms of food and vibes. They lost 1 star for poor marking for parking, entrance, and one of my coworkers got the wrong entree. Other than that I would def come back.

Panna Cotta and Tiramisu

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary there on the Monday after July 4th, so I imagine that's why we ended up having the whole patio to ourselves. I imagine it has a settled atmosphere even if there are more people around. It was very comfortable! The service was great - our server was very knowledgeable and had great recommendations, even after we said no seafood (which he did highly recommend), and even turned outdoor heater on for us when I got a bit chilly in the breeze. However, the most impressive part, I cannot say enough about how incredible the food was. The Asiago potato gnocchi was something my hubby and I keep coming back to when we talk about it - we knew the steak was going to be great (which it was) and the ravioli was scrumptious), but that appetizer was DELECTABLE! I only wish we were able to have eaten dessert in house. We got the tiramisu and panna cotta to go (hubby doesn't like coffee, so we got both). But it was still mouthwateringly good when we got home. We give ourselves permission to splurge for anniversaries, and we were not disappointed. Toscana was WELL WORTH it! We will definitely be returning for a celebration in the future!

Ambience - 4/5 Food - 5/5 Value - 4/5 Service - 5/5 Beautiful restaurant, small but spacious. The food and drinks came fast and were great. The fruit salad served during brunch was fantastic, very fresh and light with a perfect honey drizzle. The caprese salad was also fresh with creamy mozzarella. The staff was friendly, as was the owner who was sitting close to us. Unfortunately I do not live in the area, but when I'm back in town to visit family I hope to return for their dinner menu!

This was a last minute find and I am so happy that we did. Starting with the espresso martini from the brunch to the service; I can't say enough about my experience. Our server Harrison was fabulous and provided great service. The manager came by (we found out he was new) and was gracious and hospitable. The food (avocado toast, tomato and mushroom omelette) were all fantastic. I also loved the potatoes with the caramelized onions! When I'm in town; I will be back!!

To this day this is where I recommend people go for top level lasagna. Best I've ever had. My plan was to eat half and save the rest for the next day and I couldn't. I finished it all right there and then. Absolutely phenomenal. Service was great and if I could give 100 stars I would.

When we go out to restaurants we tyically hand over a list of allergies my youngest son has, it is just easier for the server to take. Gluten, Eggs, Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Soy Protein, Shell Fish. The server read it and took it back. My son ordered the steak and wanted mashed potatoes. Server came back and said he could not have them and recommended veggies. I ordered the Fra Diavolo which was spicy and good. My son's steak was decent but wished he could have had the mashed potatoes. We asked if he can have the sweet potatoes and she went to the manager and she came back and verified if he can have dairy. We verfied and indicated that he could have dairy. They made the sweet potatoes for him but I didn't think any dairy was in it or other allergens. As lunch was winding down we looked into dessert and asked about the vanilla ice cream (to see if he can have it as sometimes it has eggs in it). She came back and asked if he could have dairy (at this point, I answered and said, we gave you a list and it doesn't list dairy so yes he can). I was getting upset. So he was able to have ice cream. Overall, for a big party, I thought the service was not great. Then when we received the check, she listed dairy as an allergen which we never indicated he had. I'm 100% sure he could have had more options to eat. The server was told twice that he was not allergic to dairy (I get being precautious is a good thing but apologize for the mistake). I could have spoken to the manager but decided not - which I now regret. I would not go back to this place.

I ordered a sausage, bacon, and pepperoni calzone and scarfed it down faster than I probably should have, but it was too delicious to let sit for long. The crust was a perfect blend of crispy and chewy - chewy enough to have a fantastic texture. They also seasoned the crust wonderfully. I also ordered the Mancino's Pride pizza with the intent on saving it for breakfast for the next day, but I ended up eating it too. Now I feel a bit of remorse for ignoring my diet, but my stomach and my taste-buds are super pleased with Mancino's. Personally, I think the calzone wins out due to how well the crust was seasoned and cooked, but the pizza was pretty dang tasty too! I'd order both items again and I'll definitely be getting delivery from them again next time I'm through Lansing on work. Side note: if you're really hungry - the calzone might not be enough food by itself, might wanna order something else to go along with it.

Glad I found this new spot. Mancino's you still rock.
