Pretty much always nails it. Food is always delicious and drinks are shockingly amazing. Prices aren't terrible when you consider everything else around in the area and everything is freshly prepared in the kitchen that you can see! I have never had anything but wonderful service and delicious food at this restaurant. Everything is good, but I have to recommend the steak; people may not think about steak here. Both the filet and rib eye are the best in town! We have tried all the steak houses around Lansing and Okemos and nothing compares. I knew it was going to be awesome from the first bite of the bread. Sooo delicious mmmmm. Excellent service. Excellent Food. The chicken soup was next and it was equally delicious. I also enjoyed a house salad with creamy dressing that was superb. I next had the chicken trio. One of the three chicken breast tasted a bit salty but the dish was excellent overall. For a Carabbas delivering on Uber eats this is one of the best meals that I've had from this chain in a number of years. They included all of the extra sauces for the Johnie. The steak was done perfectly medium rare with a nice chair on the outside; and given the thickness of the cut, it was a rather difficult meat to properly grill. The chicken Brian was not dry, and it seemed like the staff really gave a dang about the product. Extra shout out to whoever checked the go order and the person on the grill. It reminded me of the way this restaurant used to taste about a decade ago. Great job gang! read more

Have not eat at Carrabba's in years. The Chicken soup is the best!! Ask for balsamic with your bread and olive oil dip with spices. Add the balsamic and ask for some shredded cheese, and tada! awesome dip! The bread is fantastic, but that soup! That is what we drove an hour for. We loved the chicken Marsala and the parm, although it always seems a bit burnt. Does not detract from the flavor however. This is a fun place with good service. We are back after a while. The restaurant was busy during weekend but luckily we didn't have to wait. Our server is very friendly and efficient, made sure we are taken care. I still ordered the same dish (Linguine Pescatore) that I used to love; but probably since I am sick, it didn't taste so well. Price increases a bit and seafood seems a bit less on my dish. The soup Mama Sicilian chicken are so delicious, I could eat another cup easily. My husband ordered Carabba Italian Classic Trio which should have chicken Parmesan, lasagna & fettuccine Alfredo. However, the dish was brought out with only 2 types of chicken & side dish asparagus ( as attached photo) We felt a bit not so right but decided not to ask. read more

I went to Carrabas last Saturday with my family of 5. They told me the wait was 30 to 40 minutes. So I waited but was never seated. I finally walked out. I noticed they seated a family of 9 before they seated me. When I asked them was my table ready they said were still trying to find one. I felt very upset. I felt very discriminated against. I am a person of color who was passed over many times in this place. I will never set foot in there again. Discrimination is still very much alive and well. Carrabba's wants you to buy gift cards. They even put a strange doorbell to purchase gift cards by the front door. But if you do, know that Carabbas is incapable of actually checking the balance of a gift card for you. When I stopped by this location to check the balance since the 1-800 number on the back of the cards doesn't work, I was told one of the more bizarre things I've ever heard by the bartender: "We (meaning Carrabbas) used to give out blank gift cards, so those were probably blank. But if you want to buy something, we can check your gift card balance." If this all sounds like it doesn't make sense and is too strange to be true, I'm right there with you. But apparently this is the case at all locations...they can't tell how much is on a gift card unless you buy something. Let's be honest, it's a glorified Olive Garden anyways. Just go find a real mom and pop Italian place. read more

The first time at this establishment and this Italian cuisine restaurant wasn't bad at all, I'd compare it to something like cousin of Olive Garden, similar but they got their own thing going on. We arrived early in the day, possibly just after opening so it wasn't super busy with people. The staff was wonderful, everyone who came to our table was helpful and kind. Proportions of the food were good, a little on the large side, so if you don't finish you might have leftovers. We ordered starters and our own entrée. The food was hot and ready to go. Taylor did an excellent job taking care of us today while visiting for dinner. Food quality was amazing as usual and courtesy of staff excellent as they were busy implementing their new Post COVID19 procedures. Manager came over to our table to address a concern and did a good job resolving the issue. One concern is that with the revolving menu, how is it possible for the chain to eliminate their best dish? Rigatoni Campanola ( unsure of spelling) is a fantastic dish and perhaps the chain needs to reevaluate its offerings... Please bring it back ! ME lol read more

We had a really good first experience at Carrabba's. Nov 2019. None in our party of 7 had been before and we all thought it was great. Each of us enjoyed our entrees which included Lasagna, Chicken parm, Lobster ravioli...each with sides of soup or salad like lentil or caesar. All very good looking and tasting. Our server Marshall was super attentive and personable, patient and great with us. One thing I noted during our evening here is that most the other diners were also enjoying their time lingering, talking, sipping wine. taking their time ...a sign that they were all happy to be there. My friend suggested I try Carraba's and told me they had amazing alfredo here. I walked in and I was seated immediately. The restaurant was quite empty. The waiter came and took my drink and food order, as I already looked at the menu online. Shortly after, he came back woth my drink and some bread with oil. The oil had quite a lot of garlic added to it, but I still enjoyed it. The bread was warm and fresh. It was a great start to the meal. The waiter came and asked if I would like some more bread, and I politely declined. He was very kind and professional. He came back with my italian salad. I did not expect it to have so much dressing covered all over it. It was still delicious, but slightly heavy on the dressing. I took a mental note to ask for it on the side if I were to come another time. So far my food had been pretty good, and I was excited to try my mushroom alfredo pasta when it arrived. The waiter placed it on my table, and I started eating it. I was surprised because it did not taste as good as I thought it would. When I moved the noodles, there was a lot of runny liquid under. It tasted almost... aged?? I could tell that they did not use a great heavy whipping cream because it was so runny and it did taste quite odd. The noodles were a tiny bit too rubbery and soft. I kept thinking that perhaps the garlic and italian dressing was throwing my taste off so I took it to go. An hour later, I decided to heat it up in my hotel. This was a huge mistake. It made the hotel room smell terrible, and the pasta still smelled really weird. I tasted some of it, and it still tasted really odd. My roomate told me that it smelled terrible and did not look right. I decided to throw the rest away, and my stomach was not settling quite right for the rest of the evening. I am not sure what went wrong here, as many individuals in my training ensured me it must be a mishap or the location. They told me to try a different location next time. John V was the best server we've had in a long time! He asked all the right questions with us having our kids with us. Made accommodations for our kids, including bringing them their own plates to share our salad. Cleared the table when necessary, as we finished different plates. Very kind and attentive. The only mark-down was the canned mushrooms in the dish. I prefer fresh mushrooms, and that was my own poor assumption. I should've asked. read more

I live 5 miles away, just not worth it to truck back over, especially just for bread.
