I perused the clearance section and found a crocheted sleeveless top that will serve as a beach cover up for $19.99. It had makeup stain on it so I asked if they offered a discount. The staff said they don't as it would be marked as damage and could not be returned. She was kind enough to look online and it was available so I purchased a new one. Best of all when I checked out it was only $13.99. Sweet!! Not sure what the original price was. It was my lucky day! Great customer service!! There was also a dress and skirt I thought were cute, but it wasn't on sale. I will keep an eye out and if it was meant to be it will go on sale.

The apparel and accessories are definitely flamboyant and ornate. If you like attention, this is the place to shop. The apparel and accessories have sequins, beads, glitter, lace, and bold colors. Aside from apparel they have shoe wear, caps/hats, belts, and handbags. Their merchandise is completely different than what I would wear, so I will not be shopping there.

I've found this store usually boasts a better selection and more attractive sale items than the Towson mall, maybe due to less foot traffic? During the holidays the Towson shop becomes crazy congested, but I've never seen this location remotely packed. The footwear selection here is probably 30% larger than Towson, which doesn't even carry many of the best-sellers(?) Staff have been attentive and kind; they've always inquired as to whether I'm eligible for a student discount and have eagerly replaced any item I've found a defect in (no matter how minor). Parking is meh; I usually just nip in if I'm down at Whole Foods and have their free 2h pass (the garage on Aliceanna). And yes, yes, shopping at Whole Foods and Madewell in the same day is appallingly bougie.

Omari the manager is by far the most incompetent manager I have yet to encounter…read more I received some jeans from a family member as a gift and wanted to return/exchange them. The clothes all at the tags on and I had the receipt. I explained to the 16 year old behind the counter that I did not want a credit to go back to the credit card as that would spoil my gift and notify the purchaser that they were returned. I asked if I could have store credit and the answer was no. I was surprised by this because I had the tags on, was within the 30 day return window and had valid proof of purchase. Nowhere in the return policy does it state that a return to a gift card is not possible. I asked to speak with the manager, "Omari" about the situation. He was not in the store at the time of my original conversation with the teenager at the counter but came into the store after the girl phoned him. He did not greet me by name or allow me to explain the situation. He and the teenager whispered something behind my back and then turned around and told me how this was going to work. He rambled on and on about how this would hurt his sales numbers because people return things from other stores. Nothing he said made any sense from the very beginning. Omari was clearly trying to defend his stores sales numbers and didn't want to get hit with a return. Sorry, but this isn't my problem. Omari clearly had no empathy nor did he care about my situation. Instead he informed me that his decision was that all I could do was return the order to the credit card. He told me I was interrupting his dinner and then promptly left the store. I was shocked. The incompetent and clearly unhelpful snot-bag teenager took my items from me and proceeded to process the return back to the credit card as I had no other choice. I asked her to please inform me of the total before processing it to ensure that I would get the full return amount. She disappeared and didn't say anything. I took my items and left. Stay far far away from this store. Omari is clearly worried about his underperforming store and has no interest in helping out otherwise qualified customers whom have purchased online and need to make a legitimate return.
