I hardly go to Target anymore and today reminded me why. Lots of staff working to stock shelves, but only one register was open with a line wrapped around the front aisle of the store. No bueno. Three self-checkouts were open - with a line competing with the sole register line. I felt badly for the only register worker when irritated customers would yell out, "Is there a reason there is only one worker working?" and "Is THIS the line? Are you kidding me?" It's a practice in patience people. And a lesson to either shop online and pick up later or try another store. Ugh. I waited over half an hour to be rung up. At 11 AM on a Tuesday. WUT??? read more

Store wasn't crowded, but cleaning supplies were wiped out. They were clean and stocked with most everything else. The cashier Becky was very helpful and friendly I maintained my social distance but noticed a lot of people were still not doing so & not wearing masks-I certainly was! Hello, I want to give the best review on the Cockeysville store. I liked it always but today was truly amazing. I try to help others when I can and she is a homeless friend who I have know a long time and help her when I can. Her phone did not work well and she does not have the finances to get a new one, something not too complicated. She likes the flip phones. I looked it up and it appeared Walmart had them. No one answers the phone and I could not believe how rude they are. I believe she got the original phone there. Before I could find anything out through the virtual agent since you cannot reach a live person, they wanted my debit card number. I hung up. So then I called Target, Cockeysville and was able to speak to a person in the electronics area, Erick, right away. I already complimented him to customer service, but I also want to compliment this store. The lady I was helping has issues and he was very patient, considerate and kind and set her new phone up with contracts.!! I help some others when I am able, but I will not take anyone to Walmart although I do not like to give a bad review. Well I think I said enough! Again, thank you! read more

I frequent this location for clothes, groceries, Ulta products and household goods with no issues. Always plenty of parking both for customers and drive up orders. Store is clean and organized compared to other locations. Never had an issue with product quality or customer service at this location. Busy days do result in lines at self-checkout, but employees do what they can to get the line down quickly. read more

Store is extremely unkempt , clothes on the floor, like ALLLLLL the clothes on the floor, heaps of clothes thrown over other racks. It's unreal. Every stocking, legging, underwear that supposed to be hung is on the floor, packages ripped, items missing, maybe stolen? The store set up itself makes it extremely hard to find products. This was a quick in and out. Just had to stop here on a Saturday morning to return and item that I purchased online. I was able to get a great parking space. When I entered the store customer service was directly to my left. I was prepared. I had my 2 items and my packing slip. The cashier made the process easier than I thought. All she had to do was scan my packing slip and gave me the receipt and everything would be returned to my card. I can't speak on the rest of the store. I didn't have anything else that I needed to purchase at the time so I had no need to shop on this day. read more

ashley at self check racially profiled me and aggressively approached me about an item that i had in my hand and was not done ringing up my items. i stepped away for one sec with chips in my hand to see if the other near by registers had different chips and she ran up to me and yelled that i did not purchase the chips. i advised that i was not done ringing up and that my other items were still waiting on the ledge and all she said was ooh! i was the only black person there and was the only person she stared at. i went to her after making my purchased to let her know how uncomfortable she made me feel and advised that she could have at least apologized.. she just advised that ahe was " just doing my job" . i will never go back! i feel harassed and profiled! read more

I mostly use this target for drive up but I also go inside on occasion- inside is nice, fairly stocked. I love the drive up service. Free to use and you can get tons and tons of products. They are quick and efficient with getting you your curbside pickup and the app will let you know if they will be busy so you can plan accordingly. Dear higher ups at this target, please give the people who go outside in the rain who hand me my cat food a raise, they all are incredible, thank you so so so much! You rule! 2022 may not have flying cars as we were semi- promised in 2005 but it does in fact, have curbside pickup at target, which I think is pretty neat. read more

I will preface this by saying I've had the most "Walmart" experience ever. Extremely disappointing considering the whole reason I refuse to shop with Walmart is to avoid experiences like this. Yesterday, 8/22/22, I arrived at this store. This location is about 1 hour from my home in Howard County. I came here 1, because it was about 20 minutes from where my job had sent me to work this particular day, 2, my order was sent here after Towson location couldn't locate my item & 3, it was also in reach of my little brother's school. We are from Jersey. I live in MD and my family doesn't, my brother is now here for school. My parents wanted me to pick up his laptop. I went to Towson location first and they told me the order was canceled due to no stock. Cool. On to this location I headed. I called ahead of time because I didn't want them to end up not having it like Towson. The lady on the phone told me she didn't know if the item was available or how long it was going to take for my order to be ready (could she not physically check the item's availability?). Completely useless information so I just went straight to the store. This made the most sense, again, because this location is ridiculously far from where I live and I would never commute back just for a laptop. I came in and told the girl at the counter I was here to pick up and gave the name on the order. She asked for the barcode which I didn't have because again, I was picking up the order for my parents who live out of town. I gave her the name, she looked it up and told me it wasn't ready. She called someone else about the order for assistance. This lady happened to be the one that answered the phone earlier when I called about the order. She told me it could take up to 2 hours & asked how long ago it was ordered. My mom was on the phone trying to estimate how long ago she ordered. She told me 40 minutes and I repeated it back to the employee. She again, proceeded to tell me it wasn't ready because the time frame was too short. I went back to look at the screenshot my mom sent earlier and I realized she had actually ordered exactly 2hrs and 50 minutes ago. So I came back to the counter to relay this message.(of course, at this point I don't really want to leave until I have the laptop because this location is SO FAR). Nobody cares and they made sure they did absolutely nothing in their power to make sure the customer left happy. MIGHT I ADD: I had a promotion interview at 6pm that I ended up canceling because this location kept me for HOURS providing the absolute worse guest experience they could concoct. I got here maybe right before 3pm. I was off of work at 2pm and came straight there after the Towson location. Being someone who has been an Assistant Store Manager for years at 3 different retailers (even acting store manager at once), I can assure you, there was definitely a way to individually process my item to make sure I was taken care of in a timely fashion. They refused to let their in store pickup team know I was there so my order ended up being batch picked. Now I have to wait more for every order in the batch to be picked in order to have access to mine. You would have thought the in store pickup team was at a different location in another country the way the employees spoke of them like they could not communicate with them. Target can also check their cameras around 3:50pm that day if they'd like to see me pacing back and forth up and down the store to find someone who works there because no one was in the electronics department. I had finally found an employee and asked them to call someone to that department and no one ever showed up. They must've all went to the back to discuss ignoring me. I was finally given the order around 4:20pm. Let me just throw in the story is actually way longer & more drawn out than this. Other employees were involved including a manager that made me come to her from the electronics department. I've attempted to shorten the story by giving less details & it's still very long. I'll ALSO add that my phone started dying in the middle of them refusing to help me for this extended period of time so then I had no choice but to drive business/increase conversion by purchasing an iPhone charger from a place that just annoyed me to the point of no return. There's no way I would have gotten home without purchasing the charger. I needed GPS. They did present the option of canceling the order & just buying it but that 100% defeats the purpose as the funds were already being held from the online order and we would not have access to those funds until it was released...which would not happen in the same day. Zero stars, do not recommend. Last comment I'm throwing in is that they were looking at me like they had no idea why I was still there. They treated me horribly and the energy they released wasn't any better. I felt very out of place as if they were communicating through walkie "not to help the girl in the black dress". read more

Pros: Starbucks inside, quick check out due to self check out stations and usually enough staff on registers. Cons: The pet section is seriously lacking. They don't have pet carriers or crates. More options for dogs not enough options for cats, however limited options for pets overall compared to Walmart. read more

First time at this Target. I had to go to Customer Service, twice! I came in with two items to return, one because the Target.com price was cheaper than the price I paid. The Customer Service lady said that happens, and she offered to return it then re-ring it at the lower price. She said if I find other items in the store like that, I should check out at Customer Service, not at the registers, because the cashiers cannot adjusted the prices there. Ok, great. I go shopping along and happen to find an item I needed that is, again, cheaper online so I head to Customer Service and deal with the same lady, who was very nice. She recommended using the Cartwheel app to get the lowest prices, fixed me up, and I was done. Neat and tidy store, had most everything I needed. Lots of parking available. My wife and I purchased two new apple phones and insurance for Target in July of 2016. The insurance was through Esecuritel cell and was billed monthly since that time. In Sept 2017, my wife dropped her phone and we needed to use our insurance that we had paid for each month. I was disgusted to find out that not only did the company change names, but Target never notified me of the business name change. When I purchased the insurance, the biggest reason for my purchasing the insurance was because of the quick turn around time (we were told the phones are overnighted after an email is sent) promised by the salesman. Much to my surprise, when we called to have our phone replaced through insurance ($125.00 deductible), my wife and I were told we were "selected" by Brightstar corporation (who took over esecuritel cell) to have to get extra documentation for our claim. Neither my wife nor myself have ever made a claim, never missed a payment for the insurance and never been late in payment. Though somehow we were selected to have to print out the paperwork, have it notarized, send the paperwork in via email, wait 24-48 hours for verification, then the phone would be shipped and take approximately 1-3 more days. When I asked if this was a new procedure for everyone who makes a claim, I was told "No". When I asked why my wife I were "selected" I was never told an answer by the several employees I spoke to on the phone. I notified Target Guest Relations about my experience and after 11 emails, 4 phone calls, and several hours of my time, Target corporation advised thus far that they have nothing to do with it and to contact someone else about the matter. Each of the 8 employees (supervisors of guest relations for Target) I spoke to refused to put me in contact with a manager or anyone above them. They also advised that there would be nothing they could do to help me and if their "internal investigation" showed something, I was not allowed to know about it. How am I supposed to know this won't be repeated on someone else (biased treatment) All in all: Target sold us insurance and my wife and I were treated in a biased manner. With Target being notified of the possible racial/discriminatory behavior being employed by their affiliated businesses partners, they have done absolutely nothing. If you believe that you are being treated in biased manner or racially discriminated against by Target, let it be known. They are not too big to have to stand trial for their reprehensible behavior. Their lack of response in this matter is ample reason to believe that they support this type of behavior and therefor support the mistreatment and biased behavior being perpetrated by their company. I for one am disgusted with Target and will make sure everyone I know is apprised of this behavior. The ACLU, Better Business Bureau, Attorney General's Office, and every social media platform will be advised of this matter as well to help save people from this happening to them. read more
