We ordered a lot of food, so it took some time for us to get our order, but it was well worth it. The service was very friendly and kind as well. You can tell they enjoy their work and are passionate. We ordered 4 entrees and sides. The OG Cuban is honestly amazing. The Riki Taki had some very interesting flavors and was super fresh. El Tigre in the Big Papi were so unique. And I loved the queso Frito in each of them. My favorite one was Miami chopped cheese!! They use Carnitas instead of beef and it being layered into a Cuban was genius. I'll be coming back for them all but especially that Miami chopped for sure. We also got the the meatball and the Cuban empanada. They were so delicious!! The guava cheesecake empanada was to die for! We also got the yucca fries and the queso Frito as sides and they were amazing. We ordered chimi sauce, a smoked ketchup for the yucca fries and a guava honey sauce for the cheese. It was so unique and I absolutely loved it. This place is a must try!!!

Before we even got there, they were super attentive on the phone when I had a couple of questions about the platter, which we really appreciated. We took it to go since we have a 3-month-old baby, but even so, the service was great. The guy at the front smiled and acknowledged me from afar, while my husband picked up, which might sound small, but it really made us feel welcomed. The outside area was on point and honestly made us feel like we were back home in Miami. We moved to Tampa about a year ago, and it's been hard finding spots that give that real Latin/Dominican vibe, but The Latin Dug Out definitely does. Our go to Dominican place near our house closed down, so finding this place felt like a win. It's little far from us but so worth it! Great food, great service, great energy. We'll definitely be back .

Other than pinchofongo, they have the Yaroa, Mangu, and salchipapa. All this are rare ethnic food. If you do go, the area have a lot food trucks to try.

I did not know what to expect from the Masala Dosa but wow was it delicious. The dips with it only added to the crunchy creation. The butter chicken was awesome as well. Next to it are a few picnic tables covered by a tent so you are able to eat the food on site if you so desire. Overall, this spot is great on value and food so I highly recommend!

It followed a rather conventional approach, quickly transitioning to inquiries about our preferences before promptly processing our payment. i was craving tacos after mg movie and I found myself drawn to the nearest establishment that was still open. With high hopes in my heart, I eagerly approached this place that proudly touted itself as a purveyor of fresh, authentic flavors. Unfortunately, my experience was a stark contrast to those lofty claims; the food was disappointingly bland, devoid of the vibrant tastes I had anticipated. The wait extended for what felt like an eternity, and I found the prices to be somewhat steep in relation to the quality of the offerings, at least in my humble opinion. I, for one, would likely not return to dine here again. However, I must admit that the outdoor seating arrangement, complemented by charming beach chairs, added a certain quaintness to the food truck location that was undeniably appealing and refreshing. The sauces they offered was the only good part of the meal.

Crave worthy donuts…read more West Park Village had a food truck rally. Normally, I wouldn't brave the crowds to go to these things, but I scheduled to have a friend cut my kids hair that day and she lives in WPV, so I figured, why not. After the hair cut, I threw both kids in the stroller and her family and mine walked over to the rally. My three-year-old spotted the donuts and demanded them right away. (I always say that he may grow up to be spoiled and stupid, but at least he'll be kind, but I digress). We got in line to get some donuts. It was $6 for a dozen and since they had a minimum credit card charge of $5, we couldn't get a half dozen (which I think was $4), without paying an extra 25 cents. I'm glad they have that minimum in place, because you definitely want to go with at least a dozen. If I knew my husband would eat some I might have even gone with the 36 for $16, they're that good! Since they're made to order, they were warm and we got it with cinnamon sugar. These things are dangerous. I had mini donuts from another place recently and found them to be doughy. As another reviewer mentioned, these are melt in your mouth, not doughy at all. I haven't been eating sweets a lot recently, but somehow six of these disappeared. My son ate five (and he's a picky eater) and my husband ate one. My husband said they were really good, but I wouldn't let them have more. If you see this food truck, you definitely should get some. They're fantastic!
