The day my husband and I went in to try on and pick a look I should've turned around. An older woman helped us and everything started off fine, but she became very pushy when I did not want to go with the traditional tuxedo look. We had a destination wedding and had a more vintage theme, so all I wanted the boys in were pants/suspenders and tie. I felt judged that we weren't going with a full suit jacket etc. When it came time for her to enter into the computer our order along with all the groomsmen information, it took her over an hour to do so, and she asked us to go 'walk around the mall' while she did this. This made me feel uneasy as she mentioned multiple times she was not good with the computer. When we returned an hour later she said she would have to have the manager fix it in the morning as she could not 'figure it out'. When checking out, I presented a coupon we got in the mail. I wanted to hold on to it until our final pick up where it could be applied, but she insisted on keeping it then. Guess what, it was no where to be found when we checked out for final pick up. We also purchased a vest that day to go with the rental, and she acted strangely by cutting off all the tags and keeping them before giving us our purchase? Not sure if she thought we would return it or something but it made me uneasy. Because we had a destination wedding, I made arrangements with customer service over the phone for a 'late return date' a few days after the event and they assured me everything would be fine for that with no fees. When we went to pick up our rental, the young lady Christine was very rude and told us there are no exceptions and if we did not return the suit one day after the event we'd be charged $20/day until returned. I was visibly upset about this as I had already made prior arrangements, but there was no attempt made by the staff to look into it and basically said 'too bad'. When it came time to return the rental, I entered the store with my guard up because I have had nothing but problems. To my surprise, the sweetest woman Ashley was there and processed my return with no questions. When she saw it was a late return, she kindly offered to waive the fee without me having to even ask. Be cautious when choosing a company for your groomsmen! This place added stress instead of easing it when planning a wedding!

Our appointment started at 1pm, and it was for both me and my matron of honor who is also getting married. We immediately started pulling dresses, and were able to put them into our fitting rooms. I started with my favorite dress, and that was a mistake because I didn't want to take it off! The bridal consultants made sure to take things out and bring things in that they thought we would like. And the dresses that the bridal consultants put me in were some of my favorite dresses. The best thing about this place is that she can customize literally any dress and make it perfect. My matron of honor found the dress of her dreams! I did not find the dress, however, that is not the reason I had to take off one star. After looking back, I realized that there were very limited options. They did not have the options I wanted for a traditional dress, and the quality of the dresses were nothing over the top -- similar to a Davids Bridal quality. They had one dress that I loved the entire time. Luckily, she is able to customize the dress, however, it was very difficult for me to visualize what it will look like. Overall, a really good experience if you are looking for a very individualized consultation -- we were the only brides there the entire day! However, you need a very good vision of what you want before going there, and make sure you can visualize it.

I was really glad to see that the customer service was better and the bathrooms were much cleaner than my past visits, so I am updating my rating from 2 to 3 stars. The only issue was that the store was very disorganized, and it was extremely difficult to find any sizes, styles, or brands. The merchandise was all over stuffed on the racks in a random assortment. This was super frustrating and made it take forever to find what we needed. We did have a good experience otherwise. John was very friendly and helpful at the checkout. We had a coupon and got a great deal! It was a total of only $65 for a dress shirt and dress pants, as well as a shirt I grabbed for myself. I always love the sale prices and coupons at Kohl's!

The store was clean and the service was friendly. I do agree with the other reviewers...the prices were pretty steep for a Kohl's. But, it was a generally good shopping experience even though I didn't walk out with anything.
