Ok, I searched for "Professional Bra Fitting" here and this was the ONLY result that came up! Well,…read moreI clicked on the website link. It doesn't exist. I can only assume that in the absence of reviews, a non-existing website, that this Yelp Claimed business is OUT OF BUSINESS. that's too bad. Small businesses were hurt by covid-19. And this is a business that women need. I'm in need to have a bra fitting by a professional. women don't realize that they are wearing the wrong bra size. a majority of women are. I don't know the statistics, but it's a big number. Plus, wearing the incorrect bra size can cause back and neck pain among other problems. I used to to go to Macy's in Stow, as this store location near me was known for having expert bra fitter available in their intimates/lingerie department. now this Macy's is a Meijers, and the only Macy's is at Summit Mall, in Fairlawn, a good 22 miles away. Plus, they have "bra fitting events", which tells me that either they don't have a professional bra fitter working at their store. Department stores are a thing of the past. Employees who were trained in bra fitting have retired or don't exist. its all big box stores with women playing a guessing game. And it takes time! I know now there are instructions on how to measure myself for a bra on the internet. I tried that once. I even had a person who said she knew how to do it because she worked at that Macy's with the expert fitter. But when I walked into the store before it had closed, sizes in hand, the expert bra fitter measured me and said " that's NOT your size." And she was right. Ive gained some weight since that time. I loved those bras I purchased after I was correctly fitted! And a bra extender isn't the answer.

DO. NOT. TAKE. YOUR. WEDDING. DRESS. HERE…read more My best friend trusted this seamstress with the most important gown of her life, and it was a disaster from start to finish. The hem was chopped too short, the straps were strangling her shoulders, and the alterations looked like they were done in the wrong order with zero thought to how the dress should actually fit. Instead of taking responsibility, she had the audacity to blame the bride's stomach for why the dress suddenly didn't have enough length. Unbelievable. The bustle? A joke. She used tiny metal hooks that weren't secure, leaving the back dragging on the ground while the front was already too short. Completely backwards. On top of that, she constantly forgot appointment details, missed one entirely, and still turned my friend away as if it were our fault. And let's talk about the environment: her house smelled awful, her work space was an absolute mess, and the whole place screamed unprofessional. It was stressful and disappointing from the very first visit. This woman should not be touching wedding dresses. She ruined what should have been an exciting, joyful experience for a bride. Save yourself the heartache and go literally anywhere else

DON'T DO IT!!! I…read morewould never recommend Hailey for bridal alterations. I trusted her with my wedding dress--the most important garment I'll ever wear--and the experience has been stressful, upsetting, and extremely disappointing. From the start, communication was poor, and the quality of work is far below what's acceptable for bridal standards. She even forgot my appointment details entirely at one point, which should've been my first red flag. The lace hem was cut too short, and instead of taking responsibility, she blamed me for it, claiming it was due to my body shape and not her mistake. As a "fix," appliqués were slapped on, and worst of all, the buttons down the back of my dress are unevenly spaced, loose, and floppy. The back of my gown should've been a beautiful focal point, but instead, the craftsmanship looks rushed and careless. When I raised concerns, I was met with excuses instead of solutions. I paid hundreds of dollars expecting professional-quality alterations and instead was left with anxiety and frustration just days before my wedding. Your wedding dress is not the place to gamble on someone's skills. If you value attention to detail, proper technique, and peace of mind, look elsewhere!

The only thing being altered was the sleeves even though I inquired about it being taken in and hemmed. She pushed that I didn't need that. She told me to check on her in mid August, and that she should have it done by late August. I messaged early September, she hadn't worked on it at all. Told me it would be done the next week. I messaged her two weeks later again inquiring where my dress was and why we weren't doing multiple fittings. She couldn't get me in until October 5th. I found my dress had been butchered. One sleeve more than an inch shorter. She sent me home like that. They did not fit at all, and when I took it to another seamstress, the second seamstress found that Therese took many shortcuts, and did not alter the dress correctly. She basically just cut the sleeves off at the 3/4 seam, and sewed the rest of the fabric to it. Rather than making new sleeves that fit my arm. The appliqués were not removed at all, she just sewed right over them. She did quick dirty work. When I reached out to have it fixed I found that she did not accommodate my schedule to fix HER botched work. After the way she talked to me via text, I was not comfortable going to her again. She tried manipulating me into believing the dress was fine, even with pictures sent to her. She refused a refund, but allowed us to pick up scrap fabric from her PORCH. because she couldn't handle her issues face to face. I ended up having to get them completely redone with only a day to spare before the wedding. It caused severe emotional distress and took precious time away from my family due to needing my dress redone. Therese is not a seamstress, she does not know what she is doing. When my husband tried to correct the issue, she outright lied to him about dates and communications, to which I have picture evidence from texts.

Let me start this review by saying that I hate leaving bad reviews. But I felt that the way that…read moreTherese of Spiral Hill Alterations in Poland, Ohio treated me regarding my wedding gown alterations was simply unacceptable and I want to warn others of the bad service I received. My wedding was 9/23/23. I dropped off my gown on 7/1. Because the dress needed a lot done, she told me to contact her in a month to check up on the progress. I reached out on 7/29 and she claimed she was behind schedule because of David's Bridal closing and she had not started my dress yet. I had to reach out to her two more times until I was able to come in for a fitting on 8/24. This is where it starts to get bad. When I came to her shop, it was obvious she was overwhelmed with work, there were dresses strung all over the place. While happy with the newly built top, I could not walk in the dress. The underlayers had not been touched. The outer bottom layers were very jagged and the top felt like it was still big. I brought up these concerns, she claimed that the top would need to be loose to sit in. I felt like that wasn't right because the top didn't reach my hips, but I didn't press it. On 9/4, I had my last dress fitting. The bottom outer layers looked cleaner after bringing it up. I was able to walk in the dress, but it had not been fluffed and Therese did not go over each layer with me to show that they had been done like she promised she would do. I didn't know any better to look at each layer and fluff them out before I left. On 9/21, I took my dress to the venue and my coordinator helped me to fluff my dress. WE FOUND PINS STILL HOLDING THE BOTTOM LAYERS UP. The areas that were done were cut so jaggedly, that there were gouges taken out. It looked so sloppy. I was so distraught that my coordinator called Therese. Therese claimed she showed me each layer before I left. We pointed out to her that if she did, she would've seen her pins in the dress still. She pretty much told me I was SOL and to cut the other layers myself. I frantically called another seamstress close to my venue and she had me rush the dress over. On 9/22, I tried the dress on again after my new seamstress cleaned up the layers to find that after the dress relaxed outside of the bag, it was still 2.5 inches too long on me. I wasn't going to be able to walk down the aisle in it. So, close to $350 later, my dress was wearable, though the new seamstress said my top WAS a size too big. After confronting Therese about these issues, she accused me of losing weight in between the fittings. I hadn't. She refused any refund. While Therese didn't charge me to cut the underlayers, it was something she had promised and included in the receipt of services that were done. I cannot recommend her for your big day. Since David's Bridal closed, she took on more work than she could handle and my dress suffered for it. I can wholeheartedly recommend Alterations by the Clothing Surgeon in Lisbon, Ohio who finished my dress for me. This horrible situation left a very dark cloud on my wedding day that I have considered legal action, but I find that she isn't worth the effort and can only hope that the karma she gave me comes back to her. BRIDES PLEASE CHECK EVERY SINGLE LAYER OF YOUR DRESS, FLUFF IT OUT COMPLETELY BEFORE LEAVING THE APPOINTMENT, AND PRESS ANY ISSUE THAT YOU HAVE. YOU ARE PAYING THESE PEOPLE AND YOU DESERVE TO HAVE IT DONE RIGHT.

Initially the best they could do was guarantee a new shirt would be in by 4:30pm the next day which would be too late (the wedding was on a Friday). I explained the situation and how desperate I was to have the shirt ASAP as the wedding started at 3:30. I was told they would do their best, see if they could get an additional truck out, but gave me no guarantee other than they would try which I was grateful for. Within 10 minutes of hanging up the phone we received a call that the shirt would be ready for pickup before closing. Hallelujah! Thank you Rondinelli for getting the shirt but mostly I thank you for your honesty and integrity. You made no false promises and THAT is what will keep me a loyal customer.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. About a week before the wedding we went into Rondinellis…read moreniles store for my husband to do his final fitting for our wedding. We were greeted by the manager of that store who informed us that they almost sent his stuff back and it's a good thing we came in when we did, why? I'm not too sure because we called them multiple times and kept them in the loop of when we'd be there. Anyway, she proceeded to tell me how the "final fitting wasn't even necessary" and it's not something we HAD to do. Well, I'm glad we did bc that's when we found out that they had put the numbers in backwards, so we had all the incorrect colored vests and ties. As well as incorrect sizes. Then, just a couple days before my wedding they started finally calling my bridal party to do their final try ons. Every single one, besides two, were measured incorrectly, resulting in tuxedos not fitting anyone. I was told they would be ready for pick up the following day. I was also told that because of prom season, everything was backed up but that the changes would be done and ready. We went back, my kids tuxedos still did not fit. So now, we are waiting for tuxedos to be available the day of my wedding. We got them, they were even smaller than before. This went on until AFTER my wedding was supposed to have started. My family was sitting in the lobby waiting for pants for my kids. Which still did not fit but we had to make due with what we had and take the pants that were meant for my youngest (and literally falling off of him) and put those on my oldest. Ultimately, neither one of my kids had pants that actually fit them but were forced to make them work. We contacted Amy, who is supposedly in charge and some sort of district manager, through the entire thing. She assured us this would be made right. Well, we lost about an hour of time due to Rondinellis negligence. The girls that work at the niles store were rude and incompetent to say the least, but we won't get into all of that. My family and I ended up losing thousands of dollars worth of paid, scheduled events and after Amy's meeting with the owner they decided it would be okay to refund us for the boys tuxedos. I'm not ungrateful for that, though I do feel that is the bare minimum of what they could do. Especially since they didn't do a full refund and kept the deposits that were made on the tuxedos. The amount of stress my family and I went through on my wedding day is literally unmatched. When Amy spoke to my mother in law she seemed very nice, however her primary concern seemed to be making sure that this situation didn't hit social media because they "have 70 years of doing this and this was only ONE wedding". She told us that she was going to meet with the owner again and explain the urgency of this and get back to us today about how they would handle this. We still have not received that call. This is something I won't ever forget and I want to make damn sure it's not something anyone I know, ever has to deal with. Take. your. business elsewhere. Trust me, this is not the risk you want to take for your big day. Pay a little more, go somewhere that they understand customer service and basic measurements.
