When I saw the reviews for Treasured Moments Bridal Boutique I couldn't believe that this was the…read moresame place that my daughter and I had visited and purchased her dress from. Then I looked at the dates. They were all from back in 2013. Either these people grossly exaggerated or Treasured Moments Bridal Boutique did a drastic turn around. The place was very clean and they had plenty of dresses to choose from. Joan was our bridal consultant. She was very patient and knowledgeable. My daughter had absolutely no idea what type of dress she wanted. JOAN asked us what are budget was and to look through the racks and pull a few dresses that we liked. After we started to try on gowns, she started pulling other ones that she thought she would like. Believe me we tried on a lot of gowns. There was absolutely no pressure. We left and went to lunch and then returned to again try on more dresses. Still no pressure and very patient. The following day I called JOAN and told her that my daughter was not sure and that she wanted to try on one other dress that she saw online. Treasure moment not have the dress but Joan thought that she should try on the gown somewhere else before she made up her mind. She gave us the name of the gown that my daughter liked and said if there was anything else she could do to please call. Long story short we ordered the gown that she found at TM. This week I called to see if they had a swatch that could be ordered of my daughters dress color because it was an ivory. I spoke with Mary. She called the company and a swatch could not be ordered but she ended up matching a swatch from the store to my daughters gown. And called me to let me know what she had done. When I picked up this watch JOAN and Mary were both there. I told them I wanted the swatch to match the flower girls dress. JOAN suggested I bring the flower girl in and to try on some of the dresses they had there because they were on sale due to the fact that they were discontinued. I gave Treasured Moments Bridal And prom only four stars because I don't know about the alterations. I will complete this review once her gown comes in and she is fitted and alter. Also I will review how the process for the flower girl dress comes out. So far extremely please with JOAN and Treasured Moments Bridal Boutique

However - some of the other women who work there made my experience negative more than anything. I gained no weight in between when my measurements were taken and when I received the dress, and it was too tight. When I went to get it altered, the woman who did it (not Toula) didn't even notice that I could barely move in it. The bride had to call and complain, and so I called back and Toula and she was very considerate of the situation and had me come in between some of her other appointments to refit me. When I picked it up it fit much better, and Toula was great - but then when I paid the fee for the altering, which was a great price, a woman who was standing in the front of the shop almost made me feel guilty. She told me that I "was very, very lucky paying that price because it was great for how much work Toula did" and especially because I was basically going to be wearing a "custom dress". It made me feel awful, and I left with a bad taste in my mouth. I think they should learn how to be a bit more professional toward their customers.

This is my second time shopping at Toula's for a Hollywood red-carpet quality prom gown for my daughter. In 2012, we called ahead and asked if they had a specific gown and they had the exact one in the exact color and size. This year again, we drove nearly 5 hours roundtrip from way west of Cleveland just to shop here, because last year's experience was so great: 2013 was no exception. Toula and her staff did NOT disappoint! They are awesome! The selection was plenty and the customer service was excellent, despite it being packed with other moms/daughters hunting and parading through the place in prom gowns on a very busy Saturday. After discovering the perfect gown, we found that it wasn't the perfect fit (much like last year - my daughter's a 2 in the hips, but more like a 0 on top) and it had an unfinished bottom hem on the train for some reason - Toula immediately assessed what needed to be tailored, pinned it up and promised it for the following weekend. NO CHARGE - those alterations were part of the deal: WHERE does THAT ever happen? We made our fairly substantial purchase with an incredible pair of perfectly matching shoes and went on our merry way, happy as clams. The following week I didn't want to spend another 5 hours driving out, so I called them and asked if it was possible to just go ahead and ship it (someone mentioned that when we were there) - and they were so accommodating - they SHIPPED the dress to me! It arrived in perfect order. Here are my ratings: Selection = 10, Customer Service = 10, Prices = 10 We LOVE Toula's!

We had an…read moreappointment, and had an un godly amount of people that came with me to pick out my dress (9 plus me) which in my opinion was extreme, but you don't want to offend people right off the bat with wedding planning. The sales associate introduced herself, got chairs for all of the people with me and helped do crowd control with them. I was surprised by the one very lengthy review on here condemning them for proper etiquette it almost seems. If you are not the bride, your place is in a seat. Let the professionals help/ do what they are employed to do. Sure, you can have suggestions, which the sales associate took with grace, but also was able to read my face that I did not wish to follow up on said suggestions by my mom. That being said, I found my dress the first day I looked (this was the first shop I looked at). They were extremely helpful, and even suggested I bought the dress off the rack that they had just got in since it fit me perfectly. No issues, no stress, isn't that what you want from a bridal store? Definitely recommend! Their new location is great too :)

Why would you show me dresses that were above my budget then hit me with a cringe face when I pick one "oh,you pick this one? Btw, that one is over the price range you set .." then pushing accessories on you without disclosing their price?? No, totally ruined my wedding dress shopping experience. Felt scammed and pressured the moment I walked out of the store and I still feel like that. Also, I took my dress to be tailored elsewhere since I was determined not to give them more business. The seamstress insinuated I was given a dress 2 sizes too big for no reason. I wear 0 and 00 sometimes, was given size 6.

My daughter and I have been waiting patiently for an opportunity to go prom dress shopping. It's…read morebeen hard to coordinate schedules as we live in Maryland but I have been here in Pa caring for my mom who was diagnosed with leukemia a couple of months ago. Finally, this weekend, the stars aligned & my husband was able to bring our daughter to Pa so we could go shopping. We were even more excited when we realized that my sister & my niece (who is also going to her prom) were able to come with us as were my best friend and her daughter who needed an 8th grade dinner dance dress. We made a plan and I chose Miller's after a quick search online. We hoped that my mom would be able to come & watch both of her granddaughters try on gowns but unfortunately, she was readmitted to the hospital yesterday. When we arrived at the store, my daughter ran from the car with excitement and was immediately greeted my a very sweet young lady inside. She was situated in a dressing room and trying on two beautiful gowns within minutes. Everything went down hill from there. My best friend was already there when we arrived & was in one of the dressing rooms helping her daughter. My niece was feeling a little unsure and couldn't find anything she wanted to try on. My sister who used to work at a bridal shop was doing a great job helping my daughter with her dresses (pulling them tighter so she could see how they would look if fitted properly). We noticed that another young girl trying on dresses had one of the dresses that my daughter had seen online and very much wanted to try on. I asked the salesgirl if this would be possible & I was told no. She would have to wait until the other girl was done with it. I thought this was strange as she didn't even ask the other girl if she wanted it. We would have been happy to order it if the other girl wanted the one in stock. Unfortunately, we never even got the chance to find out if she liked it. Shortly after this, a woman barged in to the dressing room area and rudely demanded that we go outside the dressing area and wait for my daughter. My sister and niece were upset but they obliged. I refused at first and tried to explain to her that I was going to stick close and help my daughter. She told me this was not allowed, they had people to help her. I informed her that they really weren't doing a good job of that but I did go out & my sister & I decided to leave. I called in to the dressing room to let my friend know that we would be leaving because we had been thrown out of the dressing room. We proceeded to wait for my daughter who had no idea where we went. When she came out to model a beautiful dress that she was loving, I let her know that we would have to leave and find it somewhere else. While we waited, the rude woman confronted us 3 more times. I let her know that we would be leaving. She asked why I felt the salesgirls weren't helping & I told her my daughter was told she couldn't try on a dress that she liked. Her response was the icing on the cake. She had the gall to say "Oh, was she too big for it?". My daughter is tiny, not that it matters, this would never be appropriate. It is offensive. She also informed us that there is a sign explaining their dressing room policy. We hadn't noticed. It's small & posted above the dressing room door. This entire time, no one even tried to help my niece. No one tried to make her feel comfortable or suggested a dress that she might feel comfortable in. My friend remained in the dressing room and was never asked to leave. We did all leave and we went to MB. We had an amazing time there. Thankfully, the day was salvaged. My daughter found a gorgeous dress there. I want Miller's to know that between these 3 young ladies, they potentially lost over $1,000 in sales today for absolutely no reason. I hope that it was worth it to them. Had we been treated with respect, this could have ended differently. All that abhorrent woman had to do was respectfully explain their policy and we would never have been upset. This is also something the salesgirls could explain when you are greeted at the door. I still wouldn't have liked it, but I would have followed suit. I will never shop this store again and will advise everyone I know in the area to avoid it as well.

I went to millers with full intentions on buying a prom dress and hopefully shoes and accessories…read more I was with a group of people, me and two other girls who also had intentions on buying a dress and three boys to help us make our decisions. I will say that we may have been a little more then they are used too and I could see/understand if they got frustrated or confused. But The woman in charge was awful to us from the start. We all choose about 5 dresses we liked. Anyone who has ever tried on dresses knows that sometimes it's hard to find the right size since we are all shaped differently. After trying on two of the dresses I realized that I would need a bigger size. I asked the girl helping me ( who was amazing and extremely helpful) if she wanted me to put the dresses back before getting the new ones, she told me no that she would do it, it was fine. So I went out and picked more dresses in a size up while I picked three more because I really wasn't sure if they were gonna fit. One of three of those dresses fit and I absolutely loved it. But I continued to look at my options the woman gave me an attitude and asked if we could pick less dresses because our piles were getting a little big and "it would be hard for the girls to put back" which I can understand but once again I asked the girl if she wanted me to put them back and she told me no. The woman was extremely insensitive to our frustration trying to find the right sized dress and something we loved. After I choose the dress I wanted, I saw a pair of Steve Madden shoes that I thought would pair with the dress amazing I wasn't sure if I could try them on so I asked a girl who told me "I'm sure you can but make sure with one of the other girls" so I went to the backroom and asked one who told me I could so I continued to get the shoes and try them on again the angry woman comes to the back gives me a nasty look and tells me to be very careful they are expensive THE SHOES WERE $140 insinuating that I couldn't afford the shoes and I was just playing around.I assured her that I would be very careful that I loved the shoes. after trying them on and I went to take them back and the woman returned saying "next time can you just ask before trying them on" obviously she didn't know I asked already so I told her that and the girl who told me I could tried them on also told her I could try them on. She gave me a bother dirty look, rolled her eyes and walked away. DO NOT SHOP HERE. MB prom is way nicer and would never treat you the way I was treated today. I will be buying the dress AND the shoes at mb prom.
