Our consultant was helpful as my daughter tried on dresses. She could see which dresses my daughter liked and why and made suggestions and pulled additional samples based on those findings. We were making headway when a more senior employee came over and was a bit loud and assertive asking questions that had long been answered at the beginning of the appointment. We felt we were being approached by a seedy car salesman. We were uncomfortable until that employee moved on. There were lots of dresses and we weren't rushed by our consultant. I always have luck finding a dress here for my daughter, they can do a variety of sizes. However, I will never do alterations here again!! Her senior prom dress looked better before they touched it. I decided to spend more and use their alterations department thinking it would be done perfect for her senior prom and not risk any issues and here it was horrible. I am forever grateful for the awesome customer service exhibited at this David's Bridal. One week before a wedding I was in, I was in desperate need of another size bride's maid dress. A girl's worse nightmare right? Any who, I had called another David's bridal that was closer to where I lived and they told me there was no way they could get another size one week before the wedding. Ugh... What's a girl to do? So I called the Niles location and Jessica Moracco was my hero. She said that usually they need two weeks but went the extra mile and said that she would call corporate and see what could be done. We made an appointment for my junior bridesmaid to try on dresses while I was home over the holidays, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! Kristina was so sweet and easy to work with and she made our 13 y/o feel so comfortable and beautiful in her dress. Overall, the entire staff was very welcoming and helpful - they grabbed the alterations specialist over to help evaluate the dress we chose and helped us make an informed decision on which size to get. I've been to a handful of David's Bridal stores in my time for various occasions and this was one of the best, easiest, and lowest-stress visits I've experienced. We even made a second appointment to bring my Grammy back so she can try on dresses for the wedding. I definitely recommend using this store for your wedding party needs! read more

Worst service ever ok so I bought a dress and did not get to try it on to make sure it even fits on top of all of that they let someone pick up my dress without my consent no receipt no nothing just by saying yes she knows she was able to pick up the dress so with that being said anyone off the street can walk in and pick your stuff up I would not ever come here again read more

Can I just tell you how impressed we were with David's Bridal? We had no plans to purchase a dress on the night we went into shop. we were just starting to look for ideas fro my daughter's Sweet 16 and had seen some of theirs online that we sort of liked but were not sure about. It was around 8 (they are open till 9) and we popped in just to look. The ladies that greeted us were really nice. They understood we were just getting ideas and needed to figure out her size and they were happy to help us select several silhouettes for her to try on. At first we thought we were totally striking out then she stepped out in this amazing blue sequin sheath and the whole game changed. We knew that was our dress! The ladies jacked her up in heels and undergarments and we went from just looking to buying in 15 minutes flat. OH and while they did that I found a dress 1/2 off and she fell in love with it too so we had TWO dresses, all her foundation garments and were done in less than an hour. 17 years earlier I did the same thing in a David's Bridal... shopping for my wedding gown! If I could give 0 stars I would...this store was horrific. The staff was the most unprofessional bunch of buffoons. They were so unaccomadating. They did not help my niece get dressed, they seemed annoyed she did not love the dress they picked out. This store needs to be under new management. The entire staff should be fired. Don't get alterations here! David's is a convenient place with lots of selection and pretty good prices on bridesmaid dresses but their alterations are low quality and very over-priced. We got the bridesmaid dresses for my cousin's wedding here. I tried on an 8 in the store and it fit perfect so that's what I ordered. When it came in it was extremely tight around the rib cage and the bust seemed a little too small (not uncommon in strapless dresses) to accommodate my figure. So I ended up having to get a size bigger and then spent $149 in alterations to make sure the bust and everything else fit correctly and wouldn't be sliding down. I also paid to have cups put in which apparently just consists of them putting 2 stitches on each side of a set of foam pads you'd find in a bathing suit top. So long story short the dress seemed ok in the store (It's hard to really tell because you're just standing still in a store for a few minutes) come wedding day I realized the dress was definitely too loose around the top and spent all night pulling it up. Go ahead get a dress here, but take it to alterations express to get it tailored. read more

A lot of the dresses are on the cheaper-looking side, but the sales girl Abby was outstanding. She was bubbly and fun and took the time to listen to my likes and dislikes. Davids is such a large dominating bridal store..if they learned how to have good customer service it would be an amazing place. My sister got her dress at Davids because it was pretty and inexpensive..but we hated every step. Our consultant was helping more than us and you can tell the staff there works on commission and were not listening to what we wanted. I will never set foot in this David's Bridal location again. I had gone with my newly engaged sister to the Warren/Niles location for her first experience trying on gowns. We did go on a Sunday afternoon, and probably should have made an appointment, but the sales associate said they would help her anyway. Samantha, my sister's sales associate was assisting at least two other women as far as I could tell. She measured my sister, told her she would be a size 16 due to her bust size, and then told her that David's Bridal is no longer making size 16 due to them not selling. Therefore, my sister would have limited options and would have to chose from their "old dresses". Samantha brought back two dresses, both strapless with the same silhouette. Neither were flattering on my sister. When my sister said she did not like them, Samantha said hastily, "Well, what don't you like about them?!" The dresses looked terrible on her. I did some research on David'sBridal.com and found at least two dresses that the website indicated were available in a size 16. When I suggested the sales associate find these dresses for my sister, she glanced at them and said, "We don't have those in our store. I've never even seen those dresses." very rudely, and then walked away. I had grabbed a size 14 for my sister to try on, and Samantha took it, stating, "this is too small for you..." and then took it back to the floor. (She did not hesitate to pat herself on the back, however, when she said their sashes were all sold out because of her) My sister tried on three dresses in all, before giving up so she did not break down in tears while still in the store. I don't think the sales associate said anything else to my sister before we left. My advice is: If you are too busy to put your time and energy into helping a future bride feel fantastic about herself, then just suggest that they schedule an appointment. I wouldn't have given this location any stars if I had the option. read more

I was recently here while bridal dress shopping with a friend. There was a large selection of dressing, but we were "not allowed" to pull dresses off the rack. The sales consultant insisted that she do it. Our bride had to share a consultant, and only had 1.5 hours. She only got to try on 6 dresses because the consultant was spread too thin, and was not available to assist our bride getting in and out of dresses. And, our bride didn't WANT stand around in the dresses she didn't like. The consultant then proceeded to tell her "well I only have 15 more minutes with you", rushing us out the door. Once her time was up with the consultant, the bride asked if she could continue to try on dresses, but was told "we have brides schedule to come in after you" (AKA no). however there were more than enough fitting rooms open. NEEDLESSLY to say, the customer service was beyond terrible. You would think that the customer service would be better when our bridal party COULD be spending thousands of dollars there. Our day was rounded off nicely by a visit to another big name bridal shop with awesome service. read more
