Ok, I searched for "Professional Bra Fitting" here and this was the ONLY result that came up! Well, I clicked on the website link. It doesn't exist. I can only assume that in the absence of reviews, a non-existing website, that this Yelp Claimed business is OUT OF BUSINESS. that's too bad. Small businesses were hurt by covid-19. And this is a business that women need.
I'm in need to have a bra fitting by a professional. women don't realize that they are wearing the wrong bra size. a majority of women are. I don't know the statistics, but it's a big number. Plus, wearing the incorrect bra size can cause back and neck pain among other problems.
I used to to go to Macy's in Stow, as this store location near me was known for having expert bra fitter available in their intimates/lingerie department. now this Macy's is a Meijers, and the only Macy's is at Summit Mall, in Fairlawn, a good 22 miles away. Plus, they have "bra fitting events", which tells me that either they don't have a professional bra fitter working at their store.
Department stores are a thing of the past. Employees who were trained in bra fitting have retired or don't exist. its all big box stores with women playing a guessing game. And it takes time!
I know now there are instructions on how to measure myself for a bra on the internet. I tried that once. I even had a person who said she knew how to do it because she worked at that Macy's with the expert fitter. But when I walked into the store before it had closed, sizes in hand, the expert bra fitter measured me and said " that's NOT your size." And she was right.
Ive gained some weight since that time. I loved those bras I purchased after I was correctly fitted! And a bra extender isn't the answer. read more
