Short Version summed up in 3 words: trustworthy, competent, fast…read more Long Version: My Benz stalled out and wouldn't re-start so I had it towed in on a weekday evening during rush hour. Salim and his crew had the problem diagnosed within an hour of receiving my car, repair was completed in 48 hours. This was my first repair at Salim's so I was worried about worst case scenarios like fuel pump which isn't cheap on this model (easily a grand or more). If they told me it needed a fuel pump I would've accepted that bitter pill diagnosis since symptoms were pointing in that direction. It couldn't come at a worse time too since I was just laid off days earlier. Thankfully all my car needed was a crankshaft position sensor - inexpensive part and one hour labor - total $250. This place came highly recommended by a friend who purchased an Audi here and now I know why. The mechanics and owner at this shop are highly knowledgeable about German autos, courteous, and I'll say it again because it's so hard to come by these days: TRUSTWORTHY

I've known Salim for a long time and have never felt that he has been anything but honest…read more He's a smart mechanic when it comes to diagnosing problems. This is the most important thing when it comes to picking a shop to help you with your car problems. Some mechanics are simply parts replacers, and often guess wrong when it comes to replacing a part they think is a problem, when it is not and end up charging you more than they should. Having the kind of experience that he has is a valuable asset, and can save you money in the long run. Recommended, and I believe he specialized in German cars but hit him up for more info.

I was looking for a local mechanic and came across some great reviews for this business…read more I brought my car in for a winter service. Vito and the team here are professional and don't recommend work you don't need. I dropped the car off first thing and mid morning they called me to discuss a couple of issues they found. The explanations were precise and detailed so I had a full understanding of what was needed and why. We agreed on the changes and the car repairs where completed so I could pick back up by mid afternoon. Very reasonable. If you are looking for a good mechanic on the Danforth, look no further - this is a great option. Note - expect to book most regular types of service at least 1 week out.

The shop owner Tony, is rude and impatient and Mohamed who helps him in the shop is a fraud. They did the worst fix possible to our truck which broke down and we had to tow it and when we asked for a refund both got loud (it was a $500 refund for the "hour" that they checked the truck and a button that we never needed to begin with). Bottom line, if you value your vehicle and demand respect and patience from your mechanic, you should never go to this guy. Instead I would recommend Acculine Automotive in Pickering, that guy is a gem.

Their fantastic service and knowledge of pre-loved Subaru cars is second to none. I have been getting our 1999 Subaru serviced here since we bought it. They are the ultimate throwback - if you have a Subaru and you go to a Subaru dealership you are going to get hosed. This place and our car, are a match made in auto heaven.
