I was in town for work and wanted to go someplace new so I ventured to Toro Bravo. I ordered the Camarones a La Diabla. I was not disappointed!! They brought the heat & the flavor!! It was an amazing blend of spicy and savory with the heat on the back end. My server was very attentive to my need for refills of water. I absolutely loved the salsa before my meal. I literally devoured it. At one point during my meal, I almost grabbed the salsa instead of my glass of water. I enjoyed my meal so much that I grabbed some soft tacos to go. They were great as well. They were a very flavorful and juicy end to my evening. I'm in town for business regularly and I will be sure to make this one of my to go destinations whenever I'm in town. read more

The place is a newer location of the classic in Annapolis. It has an old Mexican feel to it which hit the spot when I got back from vacation in Mexico. The service was pretty good but as some others said they were kinda focused on futbol. As for the food the dish was cooked perfectly and I would get again. Always get the sopapillas and fried ice cream for dessert. read more

So sad how far this place has fallen. Used to be our go-to. Introduced it to many friends. The quality has slowly deteriorated and last time we went it was inedible. We told the waitress the meat in the taco salad was so salty we couldn't eat it and she just shrugged it off and walked away. Came out to Toro Bravo for an office lunch to celebrate a few of our colleagues who were moving to new offices. The first thing I noticed when entering was the smell of sewage that you sometimes smell coming from floor drains which was not a good sign. There were about 20 people in our group so we couldn't leave to find another location on short notice. After being seated our drink orders were taken and the servers were friendly, however, it was difficult to understand what they were saying due to some very heavy accents. Nonetheless, they were very friendly. After everyone ordered their food and we began receiving our dishes everyone was happy with their food. Then came the worst part. When trying to pay it took over an hour for the staff to get everyone their receipt and then to process the payment. Again, we were a large group but it should not take over an hour to swipe about 10 people's cards. Not sure what happened and the restaurant wasn't that busy. It's a shame because the restaurant is close to our office but unless some changes are made I probably won't come back. If the owners are reading this, please get rid of the smell and I'll come back. We came here for a staff lunch. We were seated quickly, and our host and sever were very welcoming. The portion sizes were more than adequate and the flavor was there! Just wanted to share with you my experience at Toro Bravo. The food was good, not great, drinks were good, atmosphere was pretty decent, and the food came out in a pretty decent time. Though I was disappointed that when I paid my bill a few days later, there was an extra charge of four dollars to my bill. I noticed when I got my credit card statement that I had an additional four dollars tacked onto my bill. Not sure if someone added an additional four dollars to my bill, because I know I left a cash tip for the waitress. But I don't appreciate being charged an additional charge on my bill when I'm not aware of it. So I would say be AWARE of what they are charging you because they have put additional charges on my bill without my knowledge. read more

So let me say this I loveeeee Mexican food, I do. But Toro Bravo was not it yall. On the sign outside it says authentic Mexican food so I had high hopes for this spot. The drinks I would say they do not disappoint, my dad, mom and I loved our margaritas and dad got the panty pincher or something like that. But the food yall.... It wasn't it. My dad got the shrimp tacos, he said they were the tiniest shrimps he's ever seen and it was just okay. My food I got the Carribean tacos was soooo spicy I had to swap it out. I just wasn't expecting it to be so hot. I swapped it out for the chicken fajitas which isn't hard to make but it literally had No Flavor. I should have just got what my mother got which was the pineapple with rice and chicken and stuff inside it tasted very good when I tried it. Met up here for a Taco Tuesday yesterday! Sat at the bar while I waited for my group. I was informed of their happy hour (house margaritas and beer. No food) from 3 to 6 p.m. I ordered the house margarita - it's a good size and for only $5. It's not overly strong but for the price, it was fine! They provide chips and salsa. When the group arrived I moved to a table. I ordered the chicken tacos and they were just ok. This won't be a place I'd come to for tacos but maybe their other menu items are good and to drink. I always have a good meal here. Tonight I met my friend for dinner and we both enjoyed our meals - a burrito Mexicana and a quesadilla ranchera. The meals came out in no time even though it was dinner time on a Saturday and the place was full. The server was very nice and efficient. I ordered an espresso horchata drink from the drink menu, and it was delicious although not what I thought it would be. It came out looking like a sundae. Wish I took a picture. There was one other party and we were seated super far away from them. (Covid check!) They have online menu with a QR code, but paper printed ads LOL. Our server was very nice. I am a fan of Toro Bravo. We came here one evening after work, and it is definitely a place to which I hope to return. The salsa and chips as we sit down are always a favorite touch of mine. We each ordered two margaritas, and I always appreciate when a restaurant will make me a margarita with no ice without making a stink about it. The margaritas were okay (good enough to order a second, I suppose), but ultimately I am not wild about the house margarita I had. It was a bit too sweet and seemed to have too much mix and not enough tequila. However, I would absolutely return for the food. I really liked their chicken enchiladas, and LOVED that I could order them a la carte instead of getting all the sides of rice/beans/lettuce etc. I was very happy with them and definitely plan to order again. First off, we absolutely love your restaurant and have been coming there since you opened. We visit it about 3 to 4 times per month, with a minimum of four guests each time. We visited your restaurant on Wednesday, October 11th at approximately 5:30pm. We were a party of 5 and our grandson chose this place for his birthday celebration. We have NEVER experienced such a bad visit ever at this location, and honestly, we are thinking about trying other locations. First, the good things. The staff was very friendly and polite. Here are a few issues we encountered. 1. Our orders were wrong. One guest ordered Texas Fajitas. Instead of beef, shrimp and chicken, it only came out with shrimp. We did call this to the attention of the waiter, who apologized and offered to rectify, but we chose to just deal with it. Two other guests ordered the beef chimichangas soft. They both came out fried. We did not complain about it but given the fact that the waiter repeated our orders back to us and all the other issues we encountered. I place fault in the Kitchen for this one. 3. It took 50 minutes to receive our food, which at the time, your restaurant wasn't anywhere near as busy as I have seen it in the past. 4. Our alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks sat empty for almost 30 minutes before we were offered refills. Our waiter was missing most of the time, and the one time I tried to get his attention, he was standing near where the food is handed off to the wait staff, eating and chilling. I sent you an email almost one month ago to address these issues privately. I received no response, so I am now sharing our experience to alert other potential customers. read more

Oh wow. One star. Yep. I've been eying this place up for months. So we decided to try it on Friday night. I should have known when we pulled up that if it's Friday around 6 and your restaurant is empty... it's probably bad. But I figured maybe it's just holiday week and lots of people are out of town or airport travelers are traveling... boy was I wrong. The first impression when you walk in the door is that the whole place smells like a bad fart. So I got a Margarita which should be standard fair at any Mexican spot. It straight up tasted like they put a powdered marg mix in there with a slight hint of tequila. Also the rim was barely salted? The whole thing was very disappointing. The chips and salsa were probably the best part. Everything on the menu was over priced. My partner got the California burrito - which was cold. The cheese on top was hot but the inside was luke warm at best. So it was probably sitting up the heat light for a while... same with my beans and rice - straight up cold. The fajitas were fine - kind hard to fuck those up. But over all experience? Not worth going to. This place will go out of business in the next year? Probably and hopefully something better will pop up in it's spot. Just a shame cause Linthicum could use better non American restaurants. read more

Camerones a la Diabla is one of my favorite meals. Toro Bravo did not disappoint. I stumbled upon this gem while family was visiting. They were eating something I didn't want so I came to Yelp. Always in the mood for Mexican food I settled on Toro Bravo. I knew it was going to be good after trying the chips and salsa. As a spice lover I was pleased with the kick it had. It didn't take me long to find Camerones a la Diabla on menu. Having just had the dish, and being disappointment, at a popular Mexican restaurant in Columbia I was a little hesitant to have it again so soon. As I started off Toro Bravo did not disappoint. This dish had so much flavor and heat! It was AMAZING! The service and the food were both amazing. The drinks were not amazing at all. I'm pretty sure the person that made my drink measured nothing.
