Margaritas are GREAT!
Lindsay L.

Not only is this restaurant decorated well, with a flavorful menu / the bar makes a great margarita with so many variations. Their beans were good, salsa flavorful, chips the right bite and saltiness. Rice was fluffy and the meat was well seasoned. But the margarita is what made this place special.

My family has dined at Soluna Cocina numerous times since it opened, including dinner, Happy Hour, and lunch in the past three weeks. The food and service are consistently very good, definitely a favorite for my household, and the Happy Hour is a great deal. Today, a Saturday, we went there for a late (1:30pm) lunch and had an excellent experience. Our meal was great and our server, Carol, was perfect - friendly and very attentive! It was my birthday and the restaurant even treated me to a free "fried" ice-cream that was delicious. I understand they will be adding an awning to shade the outdoor eating area which will be enhance the patio dining experience this summer. Highly recommend!

Trusty chicken fajitas for the win. I was able to partake in this staple during a work lunch. Service was speedy and the food was delicious. Definitely want to attend for their happy hour. The space was beautiful and clean. Honestly, a hidden gem. Not a lot of curb appeal. But when you step in, it's a lovely space.

Came here for the second time and food was amazing. Everything was flavorful and hit the spot. Definitely a go to spot!

Who knew such a great Mexican restaurant is in Elkridge! A must visit for anyone craving yummy tacos. It was super nice that the tables were not jammed in there but far enough apart for a wheelchair to navigate smoothly. Yummy, fresh, crunchy chips and salsa were provided immediately. Ordered and tried their winter margaritas made with the usual liquor and white cranberry juice and coconut cream. A bit too strong for lunch but was good nonetheless. We ordered a couple of rajas con hongos and the camaron and loved them. We felt the prices were reasonable in the present economic climate. I liked the colorful atmosphere and the originality of the decor. Wish there were a couple of more handicapped parking spots. Just 2 limited our ability to park in closer proximity unfortunately.

Overall 3.5/5 We decided to check this spot out after hearing about the colorful vibe, and the atmosphere definitely delivered. The walls are covered with bright, eye-catching murals, and the lighting/decor gives the whole place a fun, modern energy. It feels like the kind of place you'd want to grab drinks with friends and hang out for a while. Service was just okay. Nothing terrible, but it wasn't the most attentive either. Chips and salsa came out first, and the salsa was actually one of the highlights--fresh, flavorful, and addictive. The guacamole, while freshly made, fell flat for us; it was mild and needed more seasoning to really pop. Food was a bit of a rollercoaster. The street corn was not enjoyable at all--overly sour and lacking the smoky, creamy flavor you'd expect. The taco salad looked great but tasted bland, missing that "wow" factor. Enchiladas came out looking hearty but leaned way too sweet, which threw the balance of the dish off. On the plus side, the drinks were great. The margarita was refreshing, well-mixed, and hit the spot. With such a fun setting and a lively bar, I'd say this is more of a place to enjoy drinks and apps rather than expect an amazing meal. Overall, I'd give it 3.5 stars. Loved the decor and drinks, but the food was hit or miss. With a little more consistency in the kitchen, this place could easily be a standout.

First time trying Soluna and we went on a Friday night. The food was very good and the service was attentive and prompt. We made reservations and recommended that as the place was packed. Only downside is happy hour is only available at the bar. We will give it another visit as it's the best Mexican food in the area.

Had a nice dinner here-service was attentive and ambience is great! The food is all good but nothing spectacular. I thought sunken burrito was great! Hubby thought birria tacos were so-so. The ceviche was gigantic and tasted good but again not the best I ever had- The flan for dessert was delicious!

We tried this restaurant for the first for dinner on Saturday. It wasn't too busy and the weather was perfect enough to sit outside. We ordered a few drinks, an appetizer and a few entrees. Our food was hot and fresh. The blueberry margarita I ordered was good as well. Our waiter could have been a bit more attentive to our table but I think that's the risk when choosing to dine outside.

Amazing experience! This was my first time here at Soluna and it was so good. We sat at the bar. We were able to watch the football game while we enjoyed our food and drinks. The blackberry margarita was delicious! We ordered shrimp tacos and chicken enchiladas. The best enchiladas I've ever had. Our bartender was great and the service was god as well. The manager even came by to ask how the experience was. This is a great restaurant experience and we will be back!

Well now this has been put off on my list but man am I happy I finally went. I really appreciate the transformation from the previous restaurant which was located there. Great decor and cozy feel. There is plenty of bar space if you choose to dine there. I went during off peak hours which was a smart move. The servers were super attentive and polite. The portions of food is rather generous so that was a nice surprise. *Note it can be pricey but worth it * I knew it was a win when I saw they made michelada's on their cocktail menu. I grabbed an Oaxacan Old Fashion and Soluna Margarita. I do warn if you are not a mezcal person don't order considering these cocktails are spirit forward. Me personally I loved them and will go back to have the same trio of cocktails. Now for the food, the Chamorro de puerco was an instant hit. Robust flavor, tender, and hearty. The only knock I'd give the dish was the rice which wasn't as seasoned and was simply just rice. That was ok though because the mushrooms made up for that in a big way. The umami flavor was intense but very welcoming especially on the fork with the pork shank. Please give that a try or even share with friends or family. The carne asada was nicely prepared, cooked to the requested temp, and had some good char without settling for overrated grill marks for appeal. I do appreciate it was at minimum a choice grade steak and served whole so you could cut into it as you wish. The refried beans were flavorful and filling. The elotes (Mexican Street Corn) had a unique taste with the house tajin sauce but was good when mixed together with the crema . The corn was roasted and shaved off the cob. Both desserts hit well too. Not pictured was the tres leches and that was on the same level as the Chamorro de puerco Just amazing!! Overall 4.7 of 5 Thank you Soluna for a great experience and for being a hit.

Only had a order out experience so may give this another go. I do recall walking in and seeing how colorful the decor was. Music played but not too loud you couldn't have a nice conversation. Service at the front was great while I ordered out. I ordered two burritos which unfortunately I think maybe didn't land flavor wise due to the pico de gallo and sauce's making them pretty soggy. I wish they would've been separated so I could fully rate the experience.

When we arrived, there were only a few people there and we were able to get a drink order in right away and they brought it to our table fairly quickly. But then the crown arrived and there were lines 10 people deep just to get an order in. Food (which we didn't order) was a nightmare; there were people's orders behind the bar for over 30 minutes just getting cold because they were too busy to figure out where the people were and no one was coming up to check on their orders. I waited in line for over half an hour just to close my tab. I'd recommend paying with each order... The drinks were not bad - the spirits (which are not made there) are decent, but are primarily mixers. They do sell bottles, but I didn't get any (granted I am a whiskey snob...). The music was WAY too loud and the DJ was just awful - he had zero personality whatsoever. My adult kids were the ones who wanted to bail, not us! Hope the next time is better...

This was conveniently located, so we decided to drop by. It's a huge space and not that many people were here, so we easily just grabbed a table. Turned out it was also trivia night. We did not officially play, but there was only one person competing, so we kinda helped out. The vibe here is akin to converted warehouse. But with spots for IG photo ops and such. We made it during happy hour, so I tried the lychee lush. Very sweet and kinda weak. Not really my thing. I did get the matcha drink next and asked if they could make it extra stiff. It was much better. Fun place to chill. And my friend liked their alcohol so much, he bought the two bottles listed above. REVIEW #3893

He was a sweetie pie, too. Man, I miss the East Coast! Nothing but cool peeps like me just living their lives. After learning that I had a 4 hour layover, I was STOKED. Saw my girl, Khadijah for my returning flight to LA!! I was ECSTATIC! YOU HAVE NO IDEA. It's not the drink but the great vibes and company at Martini's. In fact, I noticed that when she's working, she's always got a full bar. It's her excellent attitude and vibe! I showed up and she had everyone up at the bar so I sat to the right of the bar so I can charge my phone! Even better, she remembered me! She told me that you can grab a drink if you have family, and sit across the way, if need be because those under 21 cannot sit at the bar. 2025.11-05/WED_1400: Just finished a long flight from LAX and had a two hour layover at BWI. I found the only bar between Concourse A and B. Originally, I was trying to stay close to gate A8. Had no idea my gates had changed to gate B. Martini is located at the top of the escalator on the way to Concourse B and the food court. The airport is under construction but you'll see it when you look for the escalator. There was a good amount of customers that looked like they were also on a layover having a great time. The bartender was a gorgeous lady by the name of Khadijah. It's so wonderful to see her beautiful smile and wonderful attitude. I don't know how she does it dealing with some grumpy and idiotic people! She's incredible just knocking everyone out with her wonderful customer service, attitude and SMILE. This changed her from beautiful to gorgeous or gorgeous to stunning. Whichever is top notch! Hospitality is 200%! Some customers feel so entitled and she handled everyone like a champ. No fuss, just a lovely attitude and she let stuff roll off her like waterproof wood stain. She also made me a drink called a Sexy Mule which had muttled blueberries, a flower of some sort (can't remember which flower liquor she told me) and extra ginger (it looked like pink lemonade garnished with blueberries). It hit the spot! Great suggestion! It was nothing like those bland Moscow Mules. If you are wondering where to go after a long flight and you're stuck at BWI for a long layover, I would suggest you see Khadijah at Martini because you won't receive stellar hospitality at any other bar at BWI like this! I'll be returning to BWI next week so I hope I see her again for my insane layover! #hospitality #martini #bar #baratBWI #BWI #mortimerthebear # travellingbear #everywherebear #ConcourseA

The fries were delicious, the extra crispy kind that you can't find many places! The cream of crab was so good, I don't like when there are chunks of onion in it and this one was smooth and thick. The steak was awesome and so was the whipped feta! The wine flight was a nice touch, they have a ton of wines and cocktails for everyone else (also a full bar)!
