We saw this spot recently opened and had to check it out! The food was delicious! The tacos were all very fresh and stuffed with plenty of fillings. The Birria taco was also one of the best we've had! The consume with the flavorful meat, gooey cheese and crunch of the tortilla was just unmatched. I also really loved the Al pastor, it was my personal favorite. The chips, salsa and guac also tasted super fresh, and the tortilla chips were even warm when served. The guac was limey and smooth. The salsa had a nice chipotle flavor. We also had their agua frescas: hibiscus and piña. The larges were definitely larger than we expected, but in a good way! They were sweet and refreshing. Definitely check out Taqueria Parranda!

The Only Review You Need To Read Let me just get right down to it: Pros: very friendly staff, nice location, friendly atmosphere. Cons: they were out of the main dish my partner wanted (Pozole), so she settled for Al pastor (and only wanted half of it before she gave up because she wasn't enjoying it and tossed the rest). I ordered my "go-to" entree - chicken enchiladas. Stuffed with chicken which was a plus, but the plus got taken away because the meat was so dry - even with the entire plate being drenched in the green sauce. And for all of these places we've gone to around Maryland that advertise this, it's not really "authentic Mexican food" when black beans are used instead of pinto beans. And no little bowl of chips & salsa to munch on while waiting for our order? I'll end off with a positive comment: if you're looking for a Mexican-adjacent meal, this is the best place in all of Dobbin Center.

The Pozole was flavorful (not spicy) and came with whole fried tortillas and plenty of toppings. Perfect for a cold day.

We ordered Pozole, tacos and margaritas and we enjoyed it all plus the service was quick. Everything was flavorful and the portions were generous. Will definitely be back!

Taco special. 3 tacos (chorizo, chicken, steak) and side of rice and beans. $14

Taqueria Parranda gets 2 thumbs up from me! They check off all the boxes that you'd want for an authentic Mexican restaurant. The restaurant itself is lively, clean, with plenty of seating. You order from the main counter and receive a number to bring back to your table. I noticed they had a taco special which was three tacos and a side of rice and beans for $14. I went with chorizo, pollo, and the carne asada. In addition to my meal I decided to grab a margarita. Had to give it a try. $10 for a freshly made margarita. Not a bad deal. My food and margarita was out within minutes. Everything was great! Hard to pick a favorite since each of the meats were well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The rice and black beans were a win and was a nice side to have with the tacos. The meal comes with two sauces (red & green) the red has a bit of heat to it. I highly recommend this place great food and drinks!

Wanted to try a new place so I drove the extra distance. I ordered Carne asada tacos, Al pastor tacos, chicken enchiladas with red sauce, and a chicken quesadilla. Ordered with rice and beans, and chips. The steak tacos were pretty good, there was good flavor, but I wish there was a little bit of char. The tortillas were good, and didn't taste like cardboard. The Al pastor tacos, were a little too bland for my liking, so I think I'll pass next time. I did notice the steak and pork meat seemed to be better quality than other places I've had. There was very little fat and gristle which is nice. Next the chicken enchiladas, waaay too salty, this had to be a mistake in preparation. It was almost inedible. Other than the salt bomb, the flavor was good. I wish the red sauce had more concentrated flavors though. Last the chicken quesadilla, great flavor. The tortilla had a nice buttery flavor and the chicken here was well seasoned. Would get again. The sides. The rice was great, one of my favorites. The beans were good, but nothing special. The chips and salsa were also good. Nice classic restaurant flavors. The red and green salsas that accompanied the tacos were better than I had expected. The red had a nice spice, but wasn't over the top. Overall, this place had a very clean taste and clean feeling. Wasn't the most flavorful though. tl;dr Beans - ok Rice - great Steak tacos - great Al pastor tacos - meh Chicken quesadilla - great Chicken enchiladas - way too salty Chips and Salsa - good

3 taco meal- birria, carne asada and Camaron

We just stopped in here this afternoon after looking for an authentic Mexican place for a late lunch and what a pleasant surprise!!! The food was the freshest Mexican I've ever had and the flavor was superb. Everyone was so gracious and accommodating. It's not particularly cozy, but the food more than made up for it.

Delicious tacos! The grilled octopus was my favorite. You can't find that often. Shrimp tacos were also tasty.

The parking lot is small, and there's no sauce stand--which is probably my only downside. Because of the holiday, the wait was about 30 minutes for four tacos, which was a bit longer than I would've liked. That said, it was worth it. Taqueria Los Primos has always been my go-to spot and, up until now, the best tacos I've had in Maryland--but Los Perez takes the top spot for me. I was a little thrown off seeing the hot sauce come in a plastic packet, but it was actually super fire. I'd come back here all the time. I was able to easily order online before leaving a dental appointment, and by the time we arrived at their location, the wait was only a few minutes. They provide an electronic pager so you can wait comfortably in your car until your food is ready, which was especially appreciated with unmelted snow still on the ground. Although this is a food truck, they have their setup very well organized. The smells coming from the ordering window were absolutely mouthwatering. Chicken Tacos - Four freshly made tacos with your choice of meat (we chose shredded chicken), topped with onion, cilantro, radish, lime, and multiple sauces. My grandson dove into his meal so quickly -- after kindly sharing one taco with me -- that I forgot to grab a photo! Birria Pupusas - Three generously sized pupusas stuffed with beef birria, cheese, onion, and cilantro, served with cabbage on the side. We also ordered the Plátanos (fried plantains), served with a dollop of sour cream -- delicious. The portions were very filling; I have more than enough for another meal. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the prices were very reasonable. The best compliment I can give? My grandson has already requested that whenever I come to visit (which is pretty often -- I live just three miles away, LOL), we order takeout from here again. I think we've found a new regular spot -- one I only wish I had tried much sooner!
