    Shrimp Rice Bowl
    Capri L.

Hey Friends! Back again with some delicious and affordable eats! This meal tasted like someone's sweet, Peruvian grandma made it just for me LOL. It's truly the perfect dish. I ordered the shrimp rice bowl online via their website. The employee was very sweet and confirmed that I didn't want half the ingredients that usually come with the bowl before they made it. Y'all know I'm picky LOL. After the first bite I just had to pause. I was not expecting it's to be bursting with flavor like that! The shrimp was perfectly blackened. The rice was fresh and flavorful. I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried the verde sauce, I was very happy I did! The verde wasn't overpowering or spicy, it was the perfect addition. This was $19 well spent. They're located inside of a shopping center so there's ample, free parking! There's also tables to dine-in at. The restaurant was clean. Please make your way to Pollo Fiesta, you won't be disappointed! The Picky Pescatarian was very pleased lol. I'll definitely be a regular here. With love, The Picky Pescatarian.

11.14.22 Our carryout order was nothing to write home about. My husband and I ordered a half chicken, two sides of rice and beans, and a slice of tres leches. The chicken wasn't as seasoned or crispy as other Peruvian restaurants. The only thing that set it apart from other restaurants my husband and I have been to is that their chicken was on steroids and considerably bigger. Their rice was dry and the sauce wasn't as creamy or flavorful. The highlight of our dinner was the tres leches. We were hoping to like this restaurant as it would be the closest Peruvian restaurant to us, but regrettably it fell short of our expectations.

I'm like in love with their mangonada! Food is delicious as well and price is decent. Would recommend here if you are craving some Peruvian food

First of all they definitely make you comfortable and feel at home! It was my first time there and I felt so relaxed. Sometimes I feel uncomfortable when I dont speak Spanish and coming to these establishments. But, the people here are friendly! And same goes to the food!!!!! Omg it was so good! The birrias taco so so delicious, the steak nachos was amazing, and it was definitely my first time seeing ELOTES Cheetos & Taki's!!! My kids swallowed that! This was a nice place to add as a go too for Mexican food!

My Wife and I came here based on the comments in the FB group referencing the Birria Tacos. They were described as really good and better than another local spot. We were both underwhelmed. Let's start with the price. 3 Tacos for $15. This was more expensive and you receive one less Taco than the other spot. The meat was good but it was dry. I missed the flavor and texture. We both agreed the meat needed something. The outer shell had a great color but it was a bit doughy for our liking. I wouldn't have eaten them without the sauce. The Birria dipping sauce was good and definitely helped make the tacos taste better. Overall we were not impressed with these Birria Tacos and will be still on the hunt to find an alternative spot for Birria Tacos that beats or meets the ones we like. We were so looking forward to enjoying this spot but sadly the didn't happen.

Hidden gem !! You must go here. Best Peruvian chicken I've had near Ellicott and the employees are super friendly. They don't speak English well but it wasn't hard to try to order at all. The portions are great and prices are a little bit cheaper than other popular Peruvian spots. I really enjoyed the food here and can't wait to go back

I love this restaurant. Their rotisserie chicken is great. I enjoyed the fried rice and fried plantains. Real tasty. The service is very genuine and great Latin desserts (tres leches and flan are my favorites ) 5 stars!! Great environment.

Lots to choose from on the menu. I ordered quarter chicken with yucca & plantains. Yucca had come right out of the fryer and was nice & crispy. Sauces were tasty.

Order Birria tacos and a chicken quesadilla and both were amazing. Packed with flavor and moist. Will definitely return for other items

Small place, not ideal if you want to sit in and have a leisurely dinner. More for takeouts. Good choice if you're tired of Chipotle and are looking for an almost authentic Latin cuisine. This is a Peruvian style chicken. Much like Poyoteca. Place might put off some people looking for a sit-in spot. Taste-wise, it's delicious. Generous portions too. Reasonable prices. I won't mind coming back.

I don't normally drink when I go out but I was feeling a bit wild that night. She recommended a drink called "la suegra", I'm not to sure how to describe it but it was very nice. It scratched the back of my throat in a pleasant way, I had to order a second one. I then ordered food, which I was a little intimidated by the scale of their menu. The tacos asada were delicious, and the paired salsa was amazing. I ordered a red salsa against my better judgment and found to spicy, but the flavor was still spot on. Very impressed with the food and atmosphere, not used to such welcoming staff in Maryland. I just want to draw attention back to the wonderful bar staff, the young lady was very on it. Even in the rush she was very attentive and kept up her friendly attitude. I never got a chance to speak to the gentleman working with her but he was just as busy as she was. The customers he was assisting looked as happy as me. Great job soluna, you guys really live up to the name "tequila bar". Will definitely be back very soon and I suggest everyone in the area to come as well!!!

We ordered the calamari, fajitas, and enchiladas, and all of the entrees were delicious. My favorite was definitely the calamari. It was lightly battered, perfectly crispy, and I loved that the dipping sauce was served warm it paired so well. The only downside was that the shrimp in the fajitas still had the shells on, which was pretty surprising when I took a bite. It also feels very crowded inside, which makes the space less comfortable. The booth seating could use some improvement as well, the tables are too high while the chairs are too low, making it uncomfortable to sit and enjoy a meal. Their complimentary chips and salsa were the best we've had so far. The salsa tasted fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. The only other disappointment was that they had run out of horchata and weren't making another batch. I was really looking forward to trying it, but overall we had a great meal and would definitely come back.

We've seen it from Columbia to Finksburg MD! This time we found them at an event in Savage Park in Savage MD, (Jun 2026), in a cluster of trucks gathered in a corner of the parking lot next to one of the fields in a little league tournament. We already had hot dogs before we saw the DMV truck, and we had no regrets, but also no room for more. But we love love these birria tacos. Tender, juicy, flavorful, with lots of consommé on the side for dunking. We got some to take home, and they reheated really well, losing none of the flavors or aromas, just losing some of the crispiness of the taco shell. They were a glorious mess! We got an order of flavorful shrimp tacos, too. Scrumptious! Generous! They had birria, chicken, shrimp, or veggie tacos or quesadillas or burritos or rice-bowls, loaded fries, even a birria grilled cheese, birria empanadas, or a birria or combo hoagie! That's like a week of comfort foods to choose from! Beverages include Jarritos, and they have churros for dessert with sipping chocolate. Where will we seem them next! And will we venture past the birria tacos? Stay tuned :-)
