My partner and I stopped in this evening. We each ordered a quarter chicken (dark), black beans and green beans. We also ordered bottles of water ($2 for a large bottle) out of the front fridge. The food here is good. The chicken was moist and both the green beans and black beans were flavorful and had good texture. The green beans had a little onion and tomato pieces mixed in, which enhanced the dish. Both the non-spicy (red/orange) and spicy (green) sauces accompanying the chicken were good. You order at a counter and the chicken is cut and sides plated in front of you. There is a good variety of sides and many of them looked like they would be good, including the the rice and cole slaw. The place is clean and pleasant, but it's a place you come to eat - not for date night. Looks like a nice take-out business done here. read more

Hey Friends! Back again with some delicious and affordable eats! This meal tasted like someone's sweet, Peruvian grandma made it just for me LOL. It's truly the perfect dish. I ordered the shrimp rice bowl online via their website. The employee was very sweet and confirmed that I didn't want half the ingredients that usually come with the bowl before they made it. Y'all know I'm picky LOL. After the first bite I just had to pause. I was not expecting it's to be bursting with flavor like that! The shrimp was perfectly blackened. The rice was fresh and flavorful. I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried the verde sauce, I was very happy I did! The verde wasn't overpowering or spicy, it was the perfect addition. This was $19 well spent. They're located inside of a shopping center so there's ample, free parking! There's also tables to dine-in at. The restaurant was clean. First of all they definitely make you comfortable and feel at home! It was my first time there and I felt so relaxed. Sometimes I feel uncomfortable when I dont speak Spanish and coming to these establishments. But, the people here are friendly! And same goes to the food!!!!! Omg it was so good! The could be better: There is a large picture menu with no prices, which almost made me walk out, but there are paper menus with prices by the door. Cold drinks in fridge but no water in seating area. No napkins out, although tables needed wiping. No table service, but tip add-on came up automatically at register. My Wife and I came here based on the comments in the FB group referencing the Birria Tacos. They were described as really good and better than another local spot. We were both underwhelmed. Let's start with the price. 3 Tacos for $15. This was more expensive and you receive one less Taco than the other spot. The meat was good but it was dry. I missed the flavor and texture. We both agreed the meat needed something. The outer shell had a great color but it was a bit doughy for our liking. I wouldn't have eaten them without the sauce. The Birria dipping sauce was good and definitely helped make the tacos taste better. Overall we were not impressed with these Birria Tacos and will be still on the hunt to find an alternative spot for Birria Tacos that beats or meets the ones we like. Pollo has decent flavor and not dry. The green and orange color sauces are very mild in flavor. Yuca side is not bad and the cole slaw is mayonnaisey. Fish taco has good flavor as well. The empanada was too salty and would not get again. The other big issue was no price listings. The main menu in the store just lists the food items. The to go menu has outdated prices. What a PLEASANT SURPRISE! My wife and I frequently go to this out of the way shopping center for three stores: Ollie's, Mom's and a Goodwill Thrift store. We always pass Pollo Fiesta on the way in but never ate here before this visit. First things first, I am GLUTEN FREE and MANY "Peruvian" or South American rotisserie chicken places marinate the fowl in BEER (cerveza) and/or use soy sauce in seasoning...this prohibits the delightful pollo from my diet! The wonderful young lady who was managing Pollo Fiesta the day we were there assured me that the chicken was hand rubbed with a gluten free seasoning blend. Both my wife and I LOVED it! I had a side of black beans that were good. NOT GREAT, to me, because I am used to Cuban black beans that are seasoned differently. My wife had a side of plantain that she loved. This restaurant does not offer much in the way of ambience. But it IS very suitable for a family with young kids! The service is wonderful! I highly recommend this restaurant! read more

These birria tacos were super good! I'm a very picky eater, I don't even like tortillas or beef but let me tell you, these tacos with the juice and a little lime? Delicious! I took away a star because I ordered a lot of things for others and they didnt like the tamales or the plantains, (they enjoyed the steak burrito) I didn't get the extra guacamole i paid 3$ for, didn't get many sauces (but hey you could always ask for extra but i was in a time crunch and was starving), and it did take a little long to get my food, but all that was no worries to me, the customer service was amazing the lady was super kind in explaining some of the spanish words to us and being patient with us as we ordered. As someone who has never tried birria before today, the birria I ordered was phenomenal. The broth was delicious and the tacos were generously portioned. The steak burrito I ordered for my husband was extremely tender, juicy, and flavorful, as well as the quarter chicken meal, which I ordered with rice and veggies. The rice and veggies were simple but hit the spot, while the chicken was seasoned very well and fall-off-the-bone juicy. I came here on a Tuesday evening, ordered pick up and was ready in 20 minutes. We were given 4 different sauces, one being a nice creamy sauce, a green one that has some nice but still more mild heat, a red one which was the spiciest and my favorite, and the fourth which has the black specks in it is a very smoky, robust flavor which tasted good but not my preference. This place is a hidden gem for Birria tacos in Howard County. Located just off Route 1/175 and in the same shopping Center as the MOMS and Ollie's, however, located on the backside near the Paul Mitchell school. I tried the Birria tacos here about 2 months ago and they were VERY GOOD. Just to make sure I went back again lol. This time I was in the area so called my order in and arrived 15 minutes later and my order was ready. As expected, they were delicious with the fresh cilantro/onions, cucumbers/radish and salsa and lime on the side. A treat indeed.
