Andrew helped us with our master bathroom remodel in 2013 and I could not be happier with the results. He and his team were always at our house bright and early, and worked all day. They took extra care to make sure all dust and renovation materials were confined to the bathroom area, laying mats down on the carpets each day upon their arrival, and installing a plastic zip door to the bathroom entry. We never say a speck of dust in any other area of the house. Andrew prides himself on assuring proper sealant on tiled showers, and spent several days laying layer upon layer of sealant before adding the tile to our new shower. We haven't had a single problem since, and I am confident that we never will. He also took extra care to ensure a small, practically unnoticeable incline on the shower flooring to assure all the water drained consistently well. This has help up maintain the quality of the tile we chose, and not caused us any issues with our grout. We did have a small issue with our frameless glass door shifting due to the change in season several months after the renovation was completed, but Andrew organized to have it corrected the same week we called him, and at no charge to us. Andrew always took extra time to meet with us to select tile, granite, etc., offer suggestions and opinions, and kept the project on track. I was highly impressed with the quality of his work and would recommend him to anyone looking for a remodel job, be it small or large.

My key Issues: Bait-and-Switch Pricing: The final quote was more than double the original agreed-upon price with vague and VERY inconsistent reasoning. Vanishing Deposit: When I chose to cancel due to the massive price hike, they claimed my entire deposit had already been "used up" on excavation. Lack of Integrity: They committed to a budget just to get the signature, only to move the goalposts immediately after. We are currently pursuing legal action to address these practices. This company is simply not worth the stress or the financial risk. I arrived two minutes 40 seconds past the time. I had to reschedule, minutes before the appointment the representative contacted me that they would be 30 minutes late. Because of Darren, we do it every day! Darren refinished a ~30 year old hardwood floor that had yellowed, shown wear from traffic, had missing pieces of wood, and damage from chemical spills. From the very first time I reached out, his communication was excellent. He visited our home to see the floor, take measurements, and recommend and explain a refinishing process. Darren gave us options for type of polyurethane, colors, finish (matte vs. gloss) while offering recommendations from his many decades of experience. Within several hours we had a very fair quote and were booked several weeks out. They were very tidy using drop cloths on the carpet and cleaned up after themselves; unlike a lot of handymen/ contractors. Our staircase not only looks better, but is as solid as a rock and not all wobbly like it was before.
