If you're looking for a quick, satisfying lunch at a reasonable price in downtown, then Tops Chef should come top of your list.
Their Beef Chitooshe ($10.95) is one of my go-to's for lunch. I don't know what magic they've worked on their grilled beef skewer, but it's so juicy and succulent that I regularly crave it. The skewer sits on top of a bed of rice, beans, corn, and salad, drizzled in various sauces and served with an optional side of bread. The last topping seems to be on rotation as I've had pineapples, olives, or peas in the past. The owner (who is so pleasant and nice!) will confirm which toppings and sauces you'd like, but I recommend getting all of them for the most delicious bite.
You can grab and go or eat in the food court, but do note the lunch rush as it will be busier/more crowded. The longest I've had to wait was 5 minutes though, and the owner will let you know ahead of time if he foresees a delay. read more
