I love laduree and their macarons! I've only been to the LA location before. It was not busy in the cafe when I went, and I just got two macarons. I tried the marie antonette, which is their earl grey flavor, and the rose one!

I visited the Ladurée shop in Vancouver for macarons, other desserts, and croissants. This time, I visited to try a limited item for the Hot Chocolate Festival. #112 Forêt Blanche - This hot chocolate is reminiscent of Ladurée's Forêt Blanche cake. The drink combines 70% dark chocolate with Amarena cherries infused with vanilla pod and cinnamon. Topped with a decorative chocolate cherry and Chantilly. Served with Ladurée's signature macaron. This cherry-infused hot chocolate was amazing! The dark chocolate paired perfectly with the cherry flavor, and the texture was so creamy and rich--absolutely delicious! This item is definitely one of the best in terms of flavor and texture for 2025. I was able to choose any macaron, so I went with Rose, which was great as always. The ambiance was elegant, and the service was excellent. Next time, I'll try their drink menu, not just the desserts!

The ladies here are always very pleasant. The macarons tastes just like they do at any Laduree. I prefer the macarons at Pierre Hermès but since they don't have one here, this will have to do.

Got a box of 12 to go, and they have perfectly 12 different flavors. This store has so many different and beautiful gift boxes on display and you can choose between 12, 18, 24, or my fav: 200 macarons per box. I legit thought they were the best macarons of my life, and now Foret Noire Cafe across the street is giving them a run for their money. I am just dreaming about if Laduree had a baby with Foret Noire: LaDuree's impeccable flavor with Foret Noires moist and wonderful texture. Anyways, I have to say that Laduree has been very consistent no matter what country I have been (Paris, Taiwan, Tokyo, and now Canada). Can you tell that I am a die hard fan? They are just so on point with the flavors and the macarons are scrumptious. Not going to lie, my boo had to drag me away from that 200 macaron trunk.

***FOOD: Divine deliciousness, the macarons were light, jammy centers and crispy fresh macarons, love the earl grey, vanilla, raspberries, mango, coconut, and Marie Antoinette ***COST (OUT OF 4$) $$$ You haven't had macarons until you've had Laudree. Once you've had one Laudree any other macarons will not compare. ***DÉCOR: Gorgeous tea place, mint green & pink, perfect place for tea lunch brunch bridal shower, baby shower, engagement tea party. ***SERVICE: counter service was on point. Very professional and friendly. Beautiful packaging of your macarons. Boxes are when you buy more. They wrap them up in ribbon too. ***RECOMMEND: HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Definitely will come back to for lunch or tea.

French Luxury cafe with great pastries, coffee and of-course.. MACAROONS! The ambience of the cafe speaks for the luxury of the cafe. I had their croissant which was flaky on the outside and soft on the inside.. perfection. Tip: if you want to relax in the cafe for a bit, make sure to go during non-peak hours because this place gets crowded!!

I've been wanting to take my girls to this place for so long. They only have it in major cities. It can be hard to get reservations when you're on vacation because you have to plan ahead to make reservations. It never worked out but this time at this location it's a lot smaller than most and luckily we happen to have some spare time and was able to come at an odd hour where they were not too busy. It's super cute before you walk into the entrance they have a few outdoor tables that you can enjoy tea and macaroons. As you walk in everything is in pastel French/English decor. Very girly and whimsical. My girls enjoyed it thoroughly. The staff was very friendly and was able to let us know in detail all the items on their menu. You can select from the menu for your desserts or pick from the dessert display. They're known for the macarons so we had to make sure we got some. You can purchase them to-go in cute little boxes and gift bags. We also got a little bit of everything to try. My daughter loves pink so everything she chose had to be pink. Only gripe was the pink lemonade was not particularly the best lemonade. In fact, it didn't even taste like lemonade. All the desserts were not too overly sweet. That's why we were able to try so many different ones. Overall, It's a good experience for everybody that has little girls to enjoy together. I would highly recommend it.

    The Bonaparte Box

Ladurée was pleasant and unexpected find during one of my morning neighborhood while in staying in downtown Vancouver. This macaron boutique is also a Parisian Tea room. The front section features an impressive display of macarons, cakes, and pastries. Their shelves displayed decorative gift boxes design to fit any occasion. I immediately honed in on the macarons, threw caution into wind, and ordered the Bonaparte 18 gift box. I was at least able to order one of each flavor. The macarons were delicately packed in a decorative box and tied with a branded ribbon. Their presentation was on point. My favorites were the lemon, salted caramel, passion fruit, orange blossom, and rose. I actually finished over half of the box before realizing it. I ended up returning to the store the next day to get a few more gift boxes for friends and family. Pricing is on the higher end, however the presentation and wrapping was part of the overall experience. The staff were friendly and eager to answer questions. I'll definitely need to return to try their cakes and tea service.

Pistachio Fleur d'Oranger, a white chocolate blend with pistachio and orange blossom infused Chantilly. Lovely drink, but very pricy ($15), not sure if it's worth it, especially since it's given in a go to cup. You are allowed to pick the macaroon flavour to go with the drink. I chose pistachio (duh!) and it was superb as a side to the drink. Service was somewhat cold though and there's barely any seatings.

Such a cute shop! Stopped by for some desserts. Crowded store, a few employees, but a long line of customers waiting for their turn to order.

I love love love macarons and on a bd trip to Vancouver all too eagerly stopped by the Laduree cafe+shop. Oh well, while I love the concept and the brand, the actual macarons looked way better than they tasted here. Way too dry and the flavor combination was somehow just off... It did not help their case that right before I had a chance to compare Laduree with the mini-macarons (Luxemburgerli) I got as a treat from Sprüngli in Zurich. It's night and day (and not in Laduree's favor). Now, in all fairness, I've been to other Laduree locations (e.g. in Rome) as I have a home-grown macaron expert, and the experience was way better taste-wise. Hopefully, this is just one location that somehow messed up the recipe. The service at the counter and in the cafe was extremely attentive and friendly though.

    Marie Antoinette Tea

Initially we decided to come and have some macrons togo. But then decided to sit in to try some tea and coffee. Normally it seems like you actually need to make reservations but they were able to accommodate a table for two without any wait time. The cafe was very cute! The tableware and silverware fit perfectly with their decor! I had never been to any of these locations but my wife has been to the NY location. We decided to order a set of 4 macarons. I also ordered a Marie Antoinette tea which tasted wonderful. I didn't actually picture Marie Antoinette though while drinking it though. But perhaps that's a good thing, I would be totally creeped out if I saw her pop out in front of me while I was drinking. Or maybe she was passing by behind me and I would have seen the if there was a mirror in front of me. :) Anyway, the macarons also tasted amazing. I think I enjoyed the rose one the most. It was like eating flowers although I have never eaten any flowers to really know that's how it tastes. But it definitely tastes like what I would imagine flowers to taste like if I ever ate them. I wasn't sure what the Marie Antoinette was supposed to taste like though. Again, thankfully, there were no ghost apparitions upon eating it. So, I didn't have to call the ghostbusters! Overall, I believe this is a must have experience if you were ever in town in Vancouver. I would definitely swing by again in the future! And don't worry, I have thoroughly investigated that there is no ghost of Marie Antoinette appearing upon the consumption of any of the food/drinks.

    Rosé latte

I've always liked LaDuree but the lady working this evening made me feel rushed, even though we were the only customers in the entire store. Typically I love the rose latte but this was just alright considering the experience.

I found J'Adore Les Macarons on Yelp that they offer macron class, let's do it! The instructor Connie is friendly and knowledgeable. My friend and I arrived 10 mins early before the class, the notes and some ingredients were prepared and placed on countertop. Yes, we made macarons at her kitchen. The first thing I learnt from Connie was how to pronounce Macaron. (Mac-a-ron). Macaron is referring to the French Macaron. If pronounce it macaroon, it is the coconut kind. We started with a cup of tea and tasted beautiful macarons during the class. Our group decided to make Lavender macarons with buttercream and chocolate ganache which made of 66% Valhrona dark chocolate. Connie taught us her secrets and techniques to make Parisian macarons. During the class, she vigilant in checking and measuring the ingredients. After 4 hours long class, I really enjoyed and learnt a lot. I took 18 macarons home and shared with my friend and hubby. I would recommend any macaron lover to take the class or buy the macarons from Connie

I am relatively new to them as just being introduced to them this year! Although I am a macaron noob, I've looked online and read recipes and know enough about them to truly appreciate the precision that goes into its creation. So I went to their website and signed up for a class on Victoria day. I went on my own as my friend was unavailable. Connie, the instructor emailed me promptly to let me know as soon as there are 4 people in the class, it will be good to go. The class is held at Connie's house which I liked as it was warm and comfortable and made me feel at ease. I'm just a self-taught baker making assorted cookies and cupcakes at home and have never taken a class before so I didn't know what to really expect. The intimate setting of having 4 students was awesome. She had tea for us to drink, fun aprons to wear and 2 sample macarons to taste as we learned the secrets of baking macarons. It's great for people who have tried making macarons and need to tweak something to make consistent perfect macarons. You can tell Connie is just obsessed with macarons. I love it! She has done the work, spent time learning the skill and art of them and loves sharing that information through her classes. I think she said she has been making macarons weekly for the past year and a half! That's a LOT of macarons. If you love macarons and love to bake, Connie's class is a MUST. I had so much fun, and she is so pleasant. She even welcomes emails if you have a macaron crisis at home and have questions in the future. The price is fair. $100 for instruction PLUS you get to take 20 macarons home! It was definitely worth it. The whole experience makes me dreamy for Paris and macarons. Thank-you again Connie for generously sharing your expertise!
