Plus, they have great financial structures that help in any situation. The matter was escalated to a third-party collector before insurance determination There appears to be no reasonable accommodation for standard insurance dispute timelines There was no transparent explanation of why the bill was deemed immediately collectible rather than pending insurance resolution Patients should not be pressured to pay balances that are actively under insurance review, particularly when the provider is aware that the insurer is evaluating coverage or reimbursement. This practice places patients in an unfair position--either paying out-of-pocket prematurely or being threatened with collections while complying with standard insurance procedures. Said it would be within two weeks. - Contacted them four weeks later and they said our check has been waiting. They didn't contact us. Pick up check and it printed that same day. Liars and crooks.
