Absolutely LOVE this dentist and all her staff! My latest appointment was to get a crown and it went very well. I was able to get the entire process done in one day and left with my new permanent crown solidly in place!! I'm very happy that I didn't have to get a temporary crown and then come back! The receptionist, Cassi, greeted me with a big smile and was very welcoming and nice, which made me feel like a valued patient. Angel, the dental assistant, also offered a big smile, was very nice, and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. She also gave me some super cool sunglasses to wear so the bright light didn't hurt my eyes. Dr Murillo came in with a big smile, welcomed me, and was very reassuring through the entire process letting me know I was doing great (which made me feel good since keeping mouth open that long is hard especially with the added sound of a drill!). Brenda, the crown specialist (not sure of her exact title) also did a great job, she was very patient and took the extra time to make sure my crown was cemented well. I never leave reviews but I felt the need to warn people not to spend their money and time going to Dr. Murillo. First, my son and I had been going to Dr. M for over 6 years with zero issues. However, this past year (2022) has felt much different. The front desk staff is incompetent, and can never give you accurate information. I'd constantly have issues with invalid charges being made to my insurance. During Covid I had to cancel a couple appointments due to either myself or my kids getting Covid. Which I always called to let them know at least 24 hours in advance. I literally spent over $3K out of pocket for my Invisalign procedure and they're still crooked, ugh! After my Invisalign was finished, Dr. M pulled me to the side to tell me I should not return anymore due to my canceled appointments. She waited until she charged my insurance everything she could to tell me I am no longer welcomed to her office. DO NOT waste your time or money here. read more

I went here as a first time patient. I've never had a cavity IN MY LIFE and my first visit here they told me I had 9 cavities! They asked for my insurance on 3 separate occasions after I submitted it every single time. I got a second opinion and they told me they couldn't find a single point of concern with my teeth. They scheduled 5/9 fillings the very next week without sending a treatment plan and told me since they needed to submit my information again that I can cancel anytime. Instead, they tried to charge me another $150 for cancelling even though they assured me that wouldn't be the case. Beware!!! Go elsewhere. 1. Dr. Murillo was supposed to grind down two teeth for a "gold crown prep." According to my new dentist, she ground down too much. An expensive core buildup will now be necessary to accommodate each gold crown. The sad thing is when she was taking so much time grinding and grinding, I stopped her and reminded her I would be buying gold crowns. 2. Staff member Brenda is incompetent when it comes to making molds. She made me a temporary acrylic crown, admitted to me it was not very good and told me it would only be on for a few weeks, to live with it. Before making the mold for my gold crowns, she told me that she did not like to make molds and that molds are difficult to do. Twice, she removed a wet form from my mouth. Twice, the finished crowns were to low to properly chew food. I spoke with Dr. Murillo about her incompetence, but Dr. Murillo told me that she hires staff to do certain things in her office. 3. Dr. Murillo insisted that I receive a deep cleaning on several teeth. Staff member Nicole damaged my gums so bad around two teeth that I needed three laser treatments (cost $788) to assist the healing process. Beware! Go elsewhere. read more

I really love everything about this dental office from my dentist, Dr. Murrillo to the hygienists to the dentist assistants to the receptionists. Everyone is friendly, welcoming and know patients by first name. They do such a good job at making me feel as if I was visiting friends every 3 months who so happen to clean my teeth as well. Not only that but their work is incredible bon or my procedures have ever hurt or gone wrong. They always call, text and email me reminders about my upcoming appointments. And post procedures such as fillings and crowns Dr. Murrillo herself calls me every time to see how I'm doing. This dental office never fails, only me with flossing. Beware!!!!! They will recommend treatment you do not need for cavities that do not exist. Yes, the staff is friendly and seemingly professional. I honestly felt duped because they seemed to care about the health of teeth. They told me I had a mouth full of cavities that would require multiple root canals and fillings. Every time I spoke to a staff member, they would look at me with eyes full of false concern and tell me I needed to take care of this immediately. I had three root canals done because I wanted to take of my health. They gave me an intensive list of procedures I would need on multiple different teeth. I recently moved and I had to find a new dentist. I was extremely concerned about my mouthful of rotting teeth. After a routine exam and x-ray, my new dentist tells me my teeth are perfect and he sees NOT A SINGLE CAVITY. I was shocked. He double checked and showed me x-rays of perfectly with teeth. This was alarming because Murillo and co. had shown me x-rays of a mouth with a lot of decay. Please do yourself a favor and find a dental practice with ethics and integrity. read more

I shattered a molar and needed immediate attention - I would need a crown. And with no dental insurance, I knew this would be expensive. Because for years, all my dentists seemed more interested in my money than my teeth. And it always felt very 'assembly-line' to me - very impersonal. So I went to Yelp to look for the dentists with the most good references, but most of what I found were larger practices with busy schedules, no quick appointments, and high prices. I always feel like when you find the right one, you'll know it, but these places just left me feeling cold. Then I remembered a good I'd had with a guy who'd done my root canal years earlier, so I called his office and asked for a recommendation. They gave me the name of Dr. Murillo and highly recommended her. So I called her office and from the beginning, I had a good feeling about it. I believe they have an all-female staff, and everyone here is not just warm and friendly, but extremely competent and professional. And what I found both surprising and appealing was the way this business was run; they operate out of a converted house, and it feels like one big happy family that just happens to work together. (Some of them even vacation together!) Everything is immaculately clean, modern and up to date, and you'd have a hard time finding nicer, more decent and sincere people. (It's probably clear that I was feeling the love, right?) By the end, I'd required four appointments, all of which went smoothly. And not only was I very pleased with their work and their prices, I felt as if they'd invited my into their home and into their family. (And I'm not quite sure, but I think I may even have received a family discount!) A trip to the dentist never felt this good before.
