The place is busy has a few tables and benches. They offer large slices ready to heat on-site and go. We got the pizza and took it to go. It's a hole-in-the wall but has good character. The pizza was good, crust was very good. Toppings are fresh and good. We both decided it's a good pizza... not a great pizza. That's why it got a four and not a five.

It was pizza, and it was delivered to Point's Taproom late on a Saturday night. I don't remember it…read moregetting delivered because I was halfway through a flight of beverages in the tap room. It wasn't great pizza, but it was pizza, and probably not from a franchise place. Maybe it would be better if I tried it again, but per my companion for the evening who also really likes tavern-styled pizza, "it just didn't hit..." As a tourist, I don't know if there is better pizza available for delivery on a Saturday night in Stevens Point, WI, but I do know that it was what was suggested to us to get from the bar staff; it certainly didn't kill us after eating it, so there's that, and I remember it being tolerable at the very least (when compared to what I get back at home and in the Chicago area)--and probably a bit better than that? Sorry there are no pictures of the pizza itself to go with this review, but here's a photo of the box.

It was served hot, excellent cheese, Sausage and for us just the right amount to tomato sauce and the crust was crispy, not doughy as we like it. The service was excellent and the booth was comfortable. It was very affordable and the very minor issue was the beer selection (for our tastes was limited). We were surprised our favorite Wisconsin beer Spotted Cow wasn't offered. If you're in "Point" stop in for a good affordable pizza.

We ordered: Cheese curds Truffle tots Pjs burger w/ sweet potato fries Pjs burger w/ wood oven veggies Ny strip, w/ oven veggies Brussels sprouts Lemon blueberry salad Wood oven crisp Clafoutis She was right, all the food was really good! My favorite were the cheese curds because coating was crispy and well seasoned, and the Brussels sprouts because they were well seasoned and crunchy. I would definitely recommend PJ's and order from here again.

Unfortunately our dinner experience was not good. We spent almost three hours at dinner waiting for missed drinks and missed food! Management please work with your servers. Educate them on the meals that are offered. Not knowing what is in a dish is ridiculous. Not telling us about the Friday fish fry (we found out after dinner). When a burger got missed on our order because of the server, have the kitchen rush on a burger instead of one person in our party of eight waiting 45 minutes for their burger while we all ate. Such a shame because our food was good. We just did not plan on sitting there for almost three hours! We wanted to have an after drink outside but it was too late. I worry for this place.

Salmon was well cooked - however it was swimming in the spicy bourbon sauce that was a little overpowering and took away from the other flavors. The calamari, however was very well done and came with a marinara dipping sauce that stole the show. After tasting the marinara sauce with the calamari I decided I will definitely have to come back and try some of the pasta; the marinara sauce was phenomenal. Will be swinging back by on either Thursday or Friday when I get back into town
