Came here for lunch; was informed they did not have a chef for pasta until later - was okay with this since I was hungry and just told myself I wouldn't get a pasta (looking over the menu the pasta seemed to be the most appealing) Went with the Norwegian Grilled Salmon and Calamari as an appetizer. Salmon was well cooked - however it was swimming in the spicy bourbon sauce that was a little overpowering and took away from the other flavors. The calamari, however was very well done and came with a marinara dipping sauce that stole the show. After tasting the marinara sauce with the calamari I decided I will definitely have to come back and try some of the pasta; the marinara sauce was phenomenal. Food was bad. , had SEAFOOD CANNELLONI and SEAFOOD PESCATORE , hardly had any seafood and pasta shells in cannelloni was gummy and hard on the ends. The marina sauce in Pescatore seemed to be watered down and tasteless. Additionally it needs some deep cleaning and renovations. The bathroom was filthy! Service here was amazing! They were fairly busy when I went and I belive there was only 1 waitress. It was hard to tell though because she was really attentive. Bread with olive oil was so good. Soup was delicious! Main course was Alfredo. Not to my liking, but the rest of the experience more than made up for that. And that nice waitress gave me extra soup to go to make up for it. Terrible service. Hostess was barley at her post and sat multiple family's before us. She was rude to my family for telling her that we had been waiting for awhile and she sat new people before us she was rude to my grandma laughing at her rolling her eyes at the next guests about my grandmother who did nothing wrong terrible hostess and energy not inviting at all I simply wanted to come here for my birthday I hope the manger gets a better more welcoming hostess. read more

Hostess never came to their station as new people came. An older woman addressed her once she did come and pitcher name in. Five minutes later the hostess called another new party. The woman addressed her again, stating she skipped her. The hostess made faces at the woman when she turned around and left. Watching this, we left as well. A hostess in her late 40's should have common sense enough to not make herself look like a fool. If this is how the first employee behaves, imagine the rest and quality of food. No thanks. read more

5 people in our party, waitress brought the bread and oil and only 4 plates. We were served moldy bread at the beginning with the oil. Waitress tried to say that it was fresh bread from the day and that it was moisture that caused it to mold so fast. There's no way that is possible, bread cannot mold that fast, it was clearly reused bread from days before. Also was very dry. Got a replacement basket of bread, was warm, but that was hard as a rock and also very dry. We all ordered pasta dishes, I ordered the seafood pescatore. It was just ok. Had to ask for parmesan cheese instead of being offered it. Came in a plastic cup. I was worried about getting spoiled seafood because of the bread incident, but it seemed fine. My shrimp skewers on top were overcooked probably because they weren't very big or plump. Waitress was friendly and attentive. I doubt I will return. read more

First, they did not take my order correctly. They realized it when they brought the wrong order. They asked me to wait 10 minutes for the real order and then another five for the sweet potatoes to come. Meanwhile everybody ate and was finished by the time I got it. It was too much to think that they could coordinate the meal with the fries. Second my son got the perch dinner and it was rubbery and tasted awful. Wanting some Italian food so this seem to be the spot not really busy mixed reviews but tried anyway . Before the food are server was Awesome that night bright spot of the night!! Now the food I'm from Mo so we have the Hill and some really good Italian places the food was okay a different take on some stuff . I would change the type of bread they serve with the oil not good . I tried out this restaurant for the first time the Saturday before Easter with a group of eight for lunch around 1pm. We made a reservation but it wasn't needed because the place was practically empty. Despite not being very busy, the service we experienced was pretty lackluster and our lunch ended up taking about two hours. We had several issues throughout the meal, such as not getting drinks that we ordered or refills on our waters, food coming out at different times, and a few items being extremely overcooked. The most significant issue we had though was that they served three of us who had ordered sandwiches freezer-burned bread. I'm not usually one to complain but we all agreed that our sandwiches were inedible and we had to order different items and wait for them to come while the rest of our group finished their meals. I will say, the second item I ordered, the BLT chicken wrap, was very hot and delicious, and I really enjoyed it. Being served freezer-burned bread in a somewhat upscale restaurant really left a bad taste in my mouth though (literally and figuratively), so we all agreed we would not want to come back. So disappointed! Went there for my birthday dinner 8/17 because the menu looked Amazing! But I was so disappointed by the time I left. First the salad came out and literally 1 minute later our main course came out. Our table was completely covered with food and no space for anything else. They could have timed that better. Grazies was AMAZING. The food came quickly, was warm, and was very excellent. Our booth was clean, light music was playing, and it was very pleasant. What made our dinner so wonderful was our waiter, Zachary, who was so thoughtful, knowledgeable, and timely. I have a teen son with a very discriminating palate when it comes to Italian cuisine, we lived & travelled in 4 different regions in Italy over 3 year time period. He has rarely liked the Italian dishes he has eaten since we got back to the US until tonight. He ordered the Midwestern pizza dish, Bryan delivered it quickly since it was still very hot ( thank you Bryan!!) and it was love at first bite. Went to Grazies for my daughters birthday. The place was a little busy when we arrived at 615, we ordered our food shortly after 630. Our food didn't arrive u til about 740. They brought out 4 of the 6 dishes at that time. 20 minutes later we still did not have our other 2 main dishes. By 8 we just asked for our food in a box to eat at home. I ordered fettuccini Alfredo, when I got home to eat it finally as mine was one that was late, there was no sauce on my Alfredo. Just noodles and chicken. Terribly slow service. read more

Nothing too special, stopped here in Steven's Point on the way up north last weekend. They boast fresh ingredients, but the bread tasted stale and chock full of preservatives. Portions are very generous, I had a half order and couldn't finish it. Pasta is not homemade as far as I can tell and the chicken was definately overcooked with bits of carnage I chewed/spit into my napkin....once maybe okay, but this was in like 3 bites. TVs and a full bar are available which was nice as the Brewers were playing. I wasn't impressed and probably wouldn't go back. Service was excellent though, 3 stars instead of 2 for that. read more

Despite the low number of diners, we really have to complements Grazies on their service and food. Excellent server - Vicki. Good, taste and well cooked food. The claim of 'best cheese curds' was pretty close to the mark! Garlic knots excellent! Main courses were brought to table quickly and very hot! And tasted great. I ordered an Italian Sausage fettuccine at this restaurant. It comes out with a lot of little balls that are MUSHROOMS! I'm like where's the Italian sausage. The waitress said it was the crumble... I'm like what? You mean the meat sauce!? The ground beef? That's NOT sausage. The waitress said they were going to fry some up and put on top, then she asked if the pizza topping was ok and basically admitted it was crumble. If you are going to market it as Italian sausage fettuccine, which means the Italian sausage is the star on the fettuccine, then there should be visible Italian sausage in the dish not some pizza . We've eaten at Grazies several times, both dine-in and carry out. The last time was the biggest disappointment we've had. We ordered carry out for my husband's birthday. I arrived to pick it up and they hadn't even started making the food. I had to wait for nearly 30 minutes. They did offer to make me a drink on the house while I waited, which was nice, but I had a hungry husband and baby waiting for me at home and just wanted my food. Once I got home and we started eating I was disappointed to find the chicken in my pasta was full of gristle and not a very high quality. For the price they charge for the dishes, I would expect better quality. read more

Stopped in for the first time to celebrate my friends birthday. We were driving around trying to figure out where to eat when we saw this place. Prominently displayed on the outside of the restaurant is their claim to scratch cooking. I tend to favor restaurants that claim scratch cooking so we decided to give it a try. The food and service were very good. Our server, Justin, was a wonderfully attentive young man who was very well mannered and outgoing. This restaurant is lucky to have a server with such class and standard. I had the chicken marsala: the flavor of the dish was excellent with what appeared to be homemade pasta, the chicken was cooked perfectly, and they use top tier mushrooms. My only complaint with this dish would be the sauce; instead of the thick creamy sauce this dish should have, the sauce was very thin and watery. My friend had the chicken Parmesan, which he loved, but the chicken breast that he received was maybe 4oz and only half of the whole breast. The Italian cheese bread with fire roasted marinara sauce was fantastic, and we also both enjoyed the Italian bread with oil. I also had a house salad that was good, but I prefer salads made with fresh greens where this salad was made with iceberg lettuce, and my friend had a creamy wild rice soup that had great flavor but was extremely over salted. Overall we both enjoyed our experience and I would be happy to give this place another try. read more

The only thing I was upset about is I accidentally left my to go box at the table, got in the car about to leave the parking lot when I realized & then went back inside to grab it. Bread and oil are delivered before the waitress asks for your drink order. We ordered what the menu claimed were the state's best cheese curds. Those are giant expectations. They were good. Deep fried cheese is actually pretty hard to not make good. The service was very good. Our server never let our drinks run out and brought out our pizza as soon as it was done. The pizza was wood fire, slightly crunchy but not a ton of flavor in the sauce. Toppings were thick and fresh and it was decent pizza, but I can't really say any of the experience was exceptional other than great service. I'd go again if we needed to, but I wouldn't go out of our way to eat here. read more

I walked into gratzies at about 8:30 tonight and was seated immediately with my boyfriend. A black family with two children walked in before waited 15 minutes. While waiting the man tried to get a drink. the bartender would not look at him and demanded he would pay her for the drink right away instead of adding it to his bill. The same women who greeted my boyfriend and I kindly just minutes before. When they were finally seated they were seated to a table that was clean and available the entire time .
