That hybrid fitness bike is so worth it especially having my favorite color Rose Red - their color called "Orchid" , bike is so light and fast. I had to buy a kick stand since it doesn't come with the bike and it came loose , so I came today to have it fix and wanting to return the white lucky cat water bottle bike holder since I found the black one somewhere else where it's sold out. Chris acknowledge me since he was busy with a customer, apologizing that I had to wait and fixed the bike stand , took off the cat water bottle holder, put air in my tires, adjusted my seat, height and put the phone holder I never got originally? On that note... gotta give that credit to Kelly, who noticed I didn't have one and I told her I brought it up when I bought the bike Wednesday ? She even adjusted my light reflector to a smaller size to fit my handle bars. Didn't question me why I wanted to returned the white cat water bottle holder. (They were sold out of the black cat and found it somewhere else.) I had is the BEST customer service from both of them -Team work makes the dream work and those two need a raise! I am often at this REI trying to find outdoor gear and supplies…read more I think I have figured out the layout of this place now so I know which sections to head to for my needs. Just also know that all their bike stuff is located in another building, so dont be disappointed. Its cool to have another building just for bikes and bike related gear. This REI also has a lightly used section. I do go and check out whats on offer there, but so far haven't found anything that works. The thing with REI is that you have to want the thing thats carried in the store and nowadays with so many options, REI won't always carry I what I need specifically... Case in point, cavers need specialized equipment as our needs are different than say climbers or canyoneerers. Yes, some things might be shared, but in general, cavers have very special needs. But, today, when I came in here, I did find a quick link I needed so that worked out nicely. I am also a runner and finally decided I need a fanny pack (I hate how the 80s and 90s ruined this item for me), so I also got one that was small enough that would be perfect for my runs. Service is always great here, very friendly and staff always trying to help. I like also that this REI has a community board in the back and I like to check out whats on offer locally. Really wonderful to have this REI here in Kearny Mesa, super convenient and I can go Asian grocery shopping right after! Win win!

I wanted the roof top bike racks because I don't feel great about potentially getting rear ended and getting my bikes damaged as well as the car. Rack It guy's was able to help me pick out what I needed, install and provide tips on the bike mount care and usage. Really solid customer service. Great products. It was crazy hot today and so glad the activities were inside. I tried a pair of Asics Novablast 6 and again, these did not work for me. I ran close to 4 miles and both my feet were numb by the time I returned from my very sweaty and hot run. CorePower Yoga was on site giving away 20% manager special if you sign up for membership or class package. They also raffled off one really nice Manduka yoga mat. DJ was super fun and played lots of great tunes and super funny. After the run, they fed us wraps from Falafel Heights. I had my falafel wrap later, pita outside was too dry. They also raffled off many other items but I won nothing. Overall, this was a great event and I love coming here for their events. One day, eventually, I'll purchase something!

Unfortunately only 1 pair out of the 3 shoes from my Fit Analysis that had a black shoe. I didn't want to order and get the shoes shipped so I chose the Hoka Clifton 11. Of course, they try to upsell by grabbing several different pairs of socks to pair with your shoes. But I politely declined since they're quite pricey. Overall, quite pleased with my purchase and got a discount due to my membership. Knocked down a few stars due to the wait.

What I ended up getting was essentially an hour-and-a-half private consultation to get fitted for boots and a nice set of skis. Jim was really kind to me, and really took the time to make sure I was taken care of. I appreciated all of the attention and care that went into my time there and I walked away feeling really good about my purchase. A couple of other customers stopped by during my time there, and even though he couldn't help them out, he was very polite and honest and offered other places for people to find what they were looking for. I would recommend this place if you are a beginner/intermediate and are just trying to get going on your journey of being a skier. My first trip to Mammoth with my new skis and boots was really great! I'm so glad I made my way to Norpine from North County. Small note: He is a little bit chatty, so keep that in mind if you're in a hurry to get somewhere after. I had the whole day free, so I did not mind at all. Ace Uniforms is good, but it lacks the gun sales and is focused on the law enforcement community. West Coast Firearms opened recently on Ruffner in Kearny Mesa, at the location of Honey Badger Firearms. It has an outstanding selection of tactical gear and firearms, in the tradition of its original store in Temecula. The pricing on guns is great. If he doesn't have it, the owner will order it for you. The owner is extremely knowledgable, experienced in obtaining the gun you want, and practices in the paperwork process/laws applicable to this communist republic of California. He's also there every day the shop in San Diego is open! Flashlights, parts, upgrades, cases. They're all here. My business is going to West Coast Firearms. Yours should too.

I had legitimate questions about the warranty and nuCamp policy/process and instead of allowing me to ask questions, he kept interrupting me and would not let me speak. When I finally asked him whether he was going to allow me to ask my question, he said "You know, maybe this isn't the place for you. You should just leave" and he just walked away. Is this really how you treat someone ready to spend more than $40k in your establishment? From the moment he walked up, Paul seemed irritated to be having to answer any questions. Answering questions was an inconvenience. You know, if you can't answer questions, professionally, then you should be in another business, or in no business at ALL. I will NEVER spend my money at such an establishment. I will also be contacting nuCamp, because they should not be selling their products at this place. I would be careful about what this place is offering and their representations. Paul said there was no warranty on a "Demo", but nuCamp offers both a 1 year and 3 year warranty and those warranties are transferrable. This "Demo" was only a year old, yet Paul kept saying there was no warranty. They just wanted it off the lot as-is, which is not right. OR, they just wanted me to purchase their extended warranty. We didn't even get to that topic because he was so rude I just left.
