Buying an RV is a stressful decision. However, Justin at Three T RV is not the typical salesperson that will just sell you anything to get a sale. We had several conversation including FACETIME session, that allowed me to get a better look at specific things. He returned all calls very quickly and was responsive to my questions. It was challenging because we lived over 8 hours away so you wanted to be comfortable that what you were looking for was the right thing. He took a refundable deposit to hold the trailer till we could arrange the trip. He said we would be pleased with the condition of the trailer. We were. He took all the time we wanted to go through the trailer, testing every component multiple times. It was clean and was well presented. This is a nice family run business that just does a great job. They are not like the superlots, with all the bells and whistles, that will push you into anything just to make a sale. We had been looking for a travel trailer for a while and got tired of the attempts to purchase through private buyers on CL or RV Trader. Between some sellers never responding, some sellers setting a time for us to look only to then find out that they had sold it, and the scam emails that come with private sellers, I decided to look for used trailer dealers. Reviews for Three T were very good and it was a short drive from my office so I went down. Tim greeted me but was never pushy. We discussed what I was needing (Travel Trailer, room for 5, and my budget). He showed me three and all three fit my needs. I decided on one and let him know I was going to go talk to the bank. He never once pressured me to sign anything right then and was a complete professional even though my budget had me getting one of the less expensive models on his lot. Went to see him the next day with my family and the check and he took his time showing us everything about the trailer we were buying. We are rookies to this and he made it a point to show us things that would avoid the rookie mistakes. We didn't have the electronic brake assist installed in the truck yet so Tim scheduled having it delivered for us the next day. When we received it, I noticed that the batteries in it were older and had no juice at all. I texted Tim to ask if they were at least tested and expected him to tell me, nicely, that unfortunately I signed to purchase as is. I was definitely surprised when he apologized and told me to bring the old ones down and he would replace them. This place has friendly staff and a good mix of new and used trailers and motorhomes. We went in to look at a particular used trailer that looked great online and at first glance, luckily it had been raining heavily and we noticed the trailer had a very wet and spongy panel behind the sofa under the front window. It turned out the front window was leaking right down into the trailer pretty badly. Looking closer at the trailer, all the seals were shot from front to end so badly that the panels had gaps that you can put coins into! I brought it up to one of the salesmen assuming he would offer a solution to the problem and possibly save a sale, but no, he just agreed that it leaks and we left. I don't think this is a bad place, they do sell trailers in the cheaper price range, just use extreme caution when buying a used trailer and maybe a franchised dealer is best in the long run. This was probably the easiest sell they have ever had. I found this RV lot on RV Trader advertising a totally different travel trailer than the one I actually purchased. I headed to the lot in seek of a 23 ft. travel trailer that had an amazing layout with a U-shaped dining area, and an island kitchen, BUT my measurements were wrong on the height and I was ready to walk away. I made a final glance around the lot and saw all great trailers and RV's that I wouldn't mind owning if I had the space. They clearly invest in quality rigs, and I peaked in a few.
