The whole process was very transparent. Was enough to win our business again. But we got into trouble twice, we hit a diamond road sign (which was not visible from the rear view mirror) and we were hit by another truck on the avenue of the giant which broke the driver side mirror. We duct taped a plastic mirror purchased from NAPA and completed our trip. We reported the incidents to AdventureKT (Which you always must do, it is not only the right thing to do, also it helps you and AdventureKT both to handle the situation, no one likes surprises right, when you are an adult :)). When returning, Chris took the video and picture of the slightly damaged vehicle. And told me they will follow up with me later on. We took outdoorsy third party insurance, where we hit some roadblock. But Chris and team went above and beyond to work with me, because if outdoorsy didnt pay for it, it would have been our responsibility. They kept in touch throughout the process and at the end with their help, outdoorsy approved the repair. This is very important, because it was on of the situation where AdventureKT was in loss, they couldnt use the vehicle for few days. But Chris kept his cool. One day i was upset and I was close to loose my cool, but Christ was professional with his assuring voice and did whatever he promised to do, in this not so ideal situation. Will rent from AdventureKT again, but do read the fine print of the insurances, which I was offered to purchase from outdoorsy.

I initially contacted them by email regarding a trade-in and the purchase of one of their used trailers. We worked through all the details by phone and text beforehand, which gave me the confidence to drive to San Diego knowing exactly what the deal would be. When I arrived, everything was exactly as promised. The trailer was ready, they honored every number we had negotiated, and there were absolutely no surprise charges or junk fees--just a straightforward, honest deal. I transferred my belongings from my old trailer to the new one, signed the paperwork, and was on my way. The entire process was efficient, transparent, and stress-free. Scott was fantastic throughout the entire transaction--responsive, honest, and easy to work with. If you're considering purchasing a travel trailer, I highly recommend Little Guy Trailers. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE…read more Paul, who I understand is a co-owner, was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I had legitimate questions about the warranty and nuCamp policy/process and instead of allowing me to ask questions, he kept interrupting me and would not let me speak. When I finally asked him whether he was going to allow me to ask my question, he said "You know, maybe this isn't the place for you. You should just leave" and he just walked away. Is this really how you treat someone ready to spend more than $40k in your establishment? From the moment he walked up, Paul seemed irritated to be having to answer any questions. Answering questions was an inconvenience. You know, if you can't answer questions, professionally, then you should be in another business, or in no business at ALL. I will NEVER spend my money at such an establishment. I will also be contacting nuCamp, because they should not be selling their products at this place. I would be careful about what this place is offering and their representations. Paul said there was no warranty on a "Demo", but nuCamp offers both a 1 year and 3 year warranty and those warranties are transferrable. This "Demo" was only a year old, yet Paul kept saying there was no warranty. They just wanted it off the lot as-is, which is not right. OR, they just wanted me to purchase their extended warranty. We didn't even get to that topic because he was so rude I just left.

The camper was stocked with all the essentials: dishes, utensils, towels, bedding, pots, seasonings, a speaker, a grill, and even games. It was everything we needed to enjoy our time outdoors without the stress of packing everything ourselves. Thank you, RV&B, for making our camping trip extra special. Very Disappointing Experience -- $180K+ Motorhome Has Been in Shops Since We Bought It…read more I held off writing this review because I wanted to see how everything played out. Unfortunately, since taking delivery, our coach has basically gone from one repair shop or technician to another. In February, we found a 2018 Tiffin Phaeton 40QBH at La Mesa RV Sacramento. We paid over $180,000 for the coach. The online photos showed rust on the basement door frames. We asked if there were other known issues and were told there were not. To La Mesa RV's credit, they repaired the rust and repainted those areas before bringing the coach to San Diego. After we placed our deposit, we were informed that a La Mesa RV employee had backed the coach into something, damaging the upper rear corner and breaking the ladder. They did repair this. Once in San Diego, it took nearly two months to prepare the coach for delivery. La Mesa also determined it needed new tires and batteries, which they replaced. Believing we were buying a $180K+ coach from a reputable dealer, we trusted their preparation and did not get an independent inspection. Big mistake. Shortly after taking delivery at the end of March, we took it to a trusted Freightliner specialist. His inspection found more than $12,000 in needed repairs, including safety and mechanical issues: a failed steering component/joint, leaking power-steering pump, engine oil gasket leak, and a radiator coolant reservoir with multiple cracks. We contacted La Mesa RV and were told their 15-day coverage was essentially for catastrophic powertrain failures, such as an engine or transmission failure. They offered nothing toward these repairs. Thankfully, our third-party extended warranty covered much of the cost. Then the other problems surfaced. The driver and passenger seats were badly flaking, which had never been mentioned. On our first trip, I removed the sewer cap to connect the hose and human waste poured out despite the dump valve being closed. Absolutely disgusting. We also discovered the Aqua-Hot wasn't working properly. An Aqua-Hot specialist has now removed the burner assembly and found evidence of a previous fire that damaged the wiring harness. We understand this is an eight-year-old motorhome and never expected perfection. La Mesa deserves credit for repairing the rust and accident damage and replacing the tires and batteries. But after spending more than $180,000 with a major RV dealer, we expected a reasonable level of inspection, disclosure, preparation and attention to safety. Instead, we have barely been able to enjoy the coach because it has essentially been in different shops since we purchased it. Our lesson: Never assume a used RV has been thoroughly inspected simply because you're buying from a large, well-known dealer. Get your own independent RV AND chassis inspections before purchasing. We certainly will next time. Based on our experience, we will never purchase another RV from La Mesa RV.
