This our first time renting an RV, Carlos did an excellent 101 on how to operate the vehicle and the 'home' part of motorhome. Chris was very patience asking rather naïve questions. The whole process was very transparent. Was enough to win our business again. But we got into trouble twice, we hit a diamond road sign (which was not visible from the rear view mirror) and we were hit by another truck on the avenue of the giant which broke the driver side mirror. We duct taped a plastic mirror purchased from NAPA and completed our trip. We reported the incidents to AdventureKT (Which you always must do, it is not only the right thing to do, also it helps you and AdventureKT both to handle the situation, no one likes surprises right, when you are an adult :)). When returning, Chris took the video and picture of the slightly damaged vehicle. And told me they will follow up with me later on. We took outdoorsy third party insurance, where we hit some roadblock. But Chris and team went above and beyond to work with me, because if outdoorsy didnt pay for it, it would have been our responsibility. They kept in touch throughout the process and at the end with their help, outdoorsy approved the repair. This is very important, because it was on of the situation where AdventureKT was in loss, they couldnt use the vehicle for few days. But Chris kept his cool. One day i was upset and I was close to loose my cool, but Christ was professional with his assuring voice and did whatever he promised to do, in this not so ideal situation. Will rent from AdventureKT again, but do read the fine print of the insurances, which I was offered to purchase from outdoorsy. read more

After renting a trailer we had a family emergency and could not use the rental. I was told at the time that we had a credit. Now when I call in to ask about it, they will not honor the credit. So I paid almost $1000 dollars into this business and they don't feel they owe me anything. Don't rent here any more. I rented from AdventureKT a few times over the past year and had nothing but GREAT experiences. Todd and Carlos were especially pleasant to work with. Any question I had they answered and Carlos is an absolute rock star who manages the fleet. I had scheduled a 3rd rental for This upcoming August back in June. I informed AdventureKT over the weekend that I needed to cancel my trip which is in 10 days. I have two family members in the hospital; one on life support and one with pneumonia. Needless to say, our family is going thru a difficult time. I sent an email to AdventureKT letting them know that I had to cancel my trip to take care of family in the hospital and family affairs etc. I get a call today from Chris, who informs me that Todd is no longer the owner of AdventureKT. So I'm working with their new manager (Chris). Chris informs me that he can cancel my reservation but will not be able to refund the deposit of $1,500! Chris reads me their policy of refunds, which I told him that I'm not cancelling because I changed my mind, nor am I'm shopping around or anything like that (I'm a returning, repeat customer). I'm canceling because I have to help those in my family who are fighting for their life. I'm writing this review because I felt the community needs to know what you're dealing with and who you are dealing with. Chris had zero empathy for me and my family, only about their cancellation policy. They are only looking our for their pocketbook. That's pathetic! You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. If I canceled on you at the final hour and I can't get my deposit refunded, I understand. But we are almost two weeks out and for the reasons I stated, you should have a policy/exception for people who have to take care of elderly/sick family members. My husband and I wanted to rent an RV on short notice and saw that AdventureKT had an RV that slept 6 available. We booked it and within the hour I received a call from Joe who confirmed everything with me. I let my husband know and he said that we actually need an RV that slept 8. I immediately called Joe back and asked him if they had any that slept 8. Unfortunately, since it was short notice and New Year's weekend, he didn't have anything available for me. It was great renting from Adventure KT. Except that it wasn't. Fine, the stairs didnt work while we were camping but we didnt make a big deal about it. Its true I hit my head with a sharp object in the toilet that maybe shouldnt have been there and did get a bloody bruise in the head, but I didnt make a big deal about it. Then I returned the unit and they found a spot on the kitchen countertop that i hadnt noticed when I checked out and they made a BIG deal about it. They ripped me off for the supposed damage and charged $850 for fixing it. Am attaching pictures to show damage and charges. Am absolutely certain I didnt cause this damage but this was to no avail, they claimed the videos distinctly show damage was not there when we checked out the unit and they had a deposit to just take the money from. The dent was likely smaller than half an inch and I signed the return form because I didnt think it would cost much to fix. Then they told me that they needed to restore to original condition and this meant replacing the entire unit not fixing it. Am a very disgruntled customer and would very much advise you all to go get an RV from anyone else. read more

I've rented here twice already. I wish I can remember the name of the first guy that helped me there the first time. He was very nice and professional. I wasnt sure where I wanted to go. He took time to recommend a couple local spots. The second time I called Todd answered, the owner. I was completely undecided on what Rv i wanted. This was recently during the Virus lock down we are having. He went above and beyond answering my multiple calls and questions. He even gave me his personal cell number so I can text him any questions I had. He text me different Rv pictures to help me with my decision. Both time Carlos walked me through the rv's and answered any questions I had. After my last trip. I noticed I left my $150 Ipad pencil in the Rv somewhere. I called Carlos and he located it the next day. He gave me the hours he would be at the office so I can pick up. I missed several days and times he mentioned due to my work schedule. We had a great experience renting our First RV from Adventures KT. It all happened without a problem. Todd was awesome and very understanding. He helped us find the best deal, get thru adding the insurance to our AAA and the road side support for our trip. One word of the wise (after the fact): Make sure you write down any operation instructions and tips. There will be no detailed manual. Carlos will answer you over the phone but if this is your first time, it won't be that great. People in the RV camp will be experienced and much more helpful. BTW, the 24x7 phone support will be a voice mail after 8PM and then you will wait (if you can) to the next morning. No complains here, people need to get their sleep. We loved every minute of this experience and we will do it again soon. Totally recommending Todd and his business. One last comments: Make sure you know how to balance the RV. you may need an extra leveling tool (teh one with teh bubble that we all know). to get it right. read more

My husband and I checked out a few other places including Outdoorsy and Cruise America, and decided to go with this place for several reasons. Todd was extremely responsive and worked to accommodate the dates we wanted as well as navigated our insurance binder for the motor home. Be warned that AdventureKT is no longer owned by Todd and Katie. We only learned this after returning the rental to the lot while Todd was packing up a moving truck. We had a list of issues which we gave to the manager including a frightening steering problem we experienced during an 8 day trip. Before we left the lot, we were told that a bushing was worn and a mechanic had been called out. Days later, we were told that there was no problem with the steering. Yeah right! This change in ownership explains why the RV was released to us without being properly checked mechanically (steering problem) along with a variety of issues from the sewer pipe, shower malfunction and electrical outlets not working. We know that Todd took great pride in his safe and high quality fleet of vehicles which is why we rented from them in the first place. Never again will we rent from AdventureKT nor J's Rentals (same owner). AdventureKT no longer offers safe, reliable vehicles and the new owner lacks the good customer service skills and professionalism like Todd. read more

We were charged full $1500 deductible for damage to vehicle, despite clear language that the deductible is $500. They worked with Outdoorsy to rip us off.
