This was our very first RV adventure, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience than with RV Fun. Klaidas was exceptionally helpful throughout the entire process--from selecting the perfect RV and arranging insurance to providing thorough operating demonstrations and offering 24/7 support. Thanks to their outstanding service, we had such a fantastic time that we've already decided to return for another rental soon!

Our experience with the RV FUN Rental Team was great. Being First time renters, we had a lot of questions. Klaidas was very patient and thorough with his explanation during our Pre-pickup visit. This made us feel at ease and allowed us to have a positive rental experience overall. He also included some add-ons as part of the rental, which we appreciated very much. Klaidas helped us with a smooth pickup experience and Trevor assisted with an equally smooth return. Klaidas was also responsive to our inquiries during our trip. There were no issues with the RV during our trip.. I would highly recommend RV Fun Rental (5 Star) and its team. We will come back.

Purposely damaged my brand new trailer in the back whole ladder had to be replaced $800 and lasting residual damage .

The owner Matt after a month of consigning my trailer to him, rented it out and damaged it, then never paid me for rental and the damage. scammed me and threatened me as to leave a 5 star review. I never got paid and ended up with a damaged trailer, he is also a giant asshole. Never rent to this guy and avoid renting from him, if anyone has reason to sue him please go ahead, after this coerced me into leaving a good review and accepting that I should be fine with leaving with a damaged trailer and no payment for remark , nothing

We had a great customer service experience with our rental. There was a problem when we arrived with the rental we were supposed to have but the director of operations, Klaidas immediately offered to switch us to a newer model vehicle so we could get on our way. He also allowed us to keep our car in their lot (which was gated and felt like a safe place to leave it) so we didn't have to take our car back home before the trip. The rv was great for our trip; everything worked and was very clean. The check in process with Klaidas was also very easy and quick. We will definitely recommend this company to friends in the area.

Trevor was very helpful in helping me find a gas station with space to pull in for gas and propane. RV was very nice.

Great 1st time experience at RV Fun Rental! We had a last minute cancellation & they were able to accommodate us on short notice. The 6 of us fit just fine in the Winnie. No issues with the exception of the tv not working, but they waived our early pickup fee & a credit towards are next rental. Overall great experience & will rent again!

Klaidas was great. Very accommodating and thorough. We felt very well-prepared as we left for our journey. Definitely would rent from them again.

And if you nonetheless rent here, I urge you do the following: (1) Thoroughly review and photograph (time stamped) the trailer/vehicle and raise any flaws before you drive away. Otherwise, you might be accused of doing damage you did not do, as we were. (2) If your fully-functional vehicle mysteriously will not hook up to the Airstream trailer, forcing you to rent one of their pricey trucks at the last minute, be suspicious. This happened to us. On our return, we had our vehicle evaluated; it was fine and unlikely to have been the issue. (3) Check to make sure the hot water and heat actually work before you drive away. We did not, and we had no heat or hot water (do not know if it was user ignorance, or the trailer). Either way, we were offered no discount. (4) We received towels and sheets, and nothing else. Ignore the fancy website photos. No plates, cups, utensils, let alone corkscrews or cookware. Bring your own. (5) We wanted to rent the smaller Bambi trailer, but were told only the larger one was available. Unclear now to us if that was the truth, or what stock this company actually has. Caveat emptor.

I ended up being another victim of a ridiculous insurance claim that had completely no merit. $1,500(RVShare deductable) was charged 2 months after the trip. And on top of it all RVFunRental didn't even tell us there were any issues. Walked the RV upon return and noted everything looked great. In fact we were the ones who had issues with the RV during the trip. Details below.... First red flag, RVFunRental did a bait and swap with our RV a few weeks before the trip. They said the previous one had issues and gave us a different one. At departure, we met with Greg from RV Fun Rental in Mission Viejo. This is how they service OC clients, meet in Mission Viejo with the RV and a car towed behind and then use the car to return to their office. We walked the C20 Entegra Class C with Greg from RVFunRental and the RV was very dirty (2nd red flag). We took photos of the RV before, inside and outside, and decided to move forward with our trip. Once we arrived at our destination and tried to start the generator it would not work. We called RVFunRental directly and they tried to walk us through a fix. Nothing worked and a mechanic could not come to our location. We had to deal with no AC or power with the June heat. It was very frustrating! Basically, a glorified tent. We coordinated the return of the RV with Greg to meet in Mission Viejo. Greg walked the RV with us and we informed about the issues we had with the generator and AC during our trip. It was very hot and unfortunate that the generator would not start. He apologized for the inconvenience and noted they would do their best to make it 'right'. He then proceeded to hook up his car to the RV(tow his vehicle using the RV) and drive back to their office located at 1553 S. Coast Hwy Oceanside, CA. The drive from Mission Viejo to Oceanside is about 40 miles. I tried to coordinate with Miguel from their office about our trip issues and a refund but nothing prevailed. He ghosted me and said he couldn't do anything. So I paid $1,805 for the RV and had no power basically to the RV! No refund or partial refund was ever given to me. RVShare and RVFunRental ignored my claim issues. A few days later we received an email from RVShare stating that there was a claim against us. I replied saying they MUST have it wrong since we were the ones who had issues. A month or so later RVShare again reached out and said the claim from RVFunRental was still open and that it is regarding "..the ABS light and traction control light coming on. This could indicate overheated brake components from improper use, harsh braking, or incorrect driving practices." We had no issues with braking or driving during our trip. The actual RV drove just fine. My husband, who drove, has a class A license and literally drives large vehicles for work. We have also owned RV's before in the past. To say we 'improperly used the brakes' is insane! And on top of it, as noted before, Greg used the RV after we returned it in Mission Viejo to tow his car back to their office. If there really were issues after our reservation, why would he proceed to drive the RV 40 additional miles towing a vehicle! I have been battling with RVShare as well since they deemed the claim OK and charged me the $1,500 deductable. RVFunRental's claim for this repair was $4,290!!!!! Absolutely insane that they are claiming we caused this damage! We literally had no issues with the brakes. RVFunRental has done this before to other renters as well. I added the reviews/ complaints from the Better Business Bureau below. PLEASE PLEASE do you own research and understand the RVShare insurance. It's very easy for 'owners' to submit claims and note that it was caused by the renter. It's an easy way for them to get money to fix outstanding issues, maintenance, etc. on their RVs. Smells A LOT like insurance FRAUD. I would NOT recommend using RVShare and would definitely not recommend using RVFunRental. I feel completely taken advantage of. Don't WALK, RUN away from using either of these companies. The whole process was very transparent. Was enough to win our business again. But we got into trouble twice, we hit a diamond road sign (which was not visible from the rear view mirror) and we were hit by another truck on the avenue of the giant which broke the driver side mirror. We duct taped a plastic mirror purchased from NAPA and completed our trip. We reported the incidents to AdventureKT (Which you always must do, it is not only the right thing to do, also it helps you and AdventureKT both to handle the situation, no one likes surprises right, when you are an adult :)). When returning, Chris took the video and picture of the slightly damaged vehicle. And told me they will follow up with me later on. We took outdoorsy third party insurance, where we hit some roadblock. But Chris and team went above and beyond to work with me, because if outdoorsy didnt pay for it, it would have been our responsibility. They kept in touch throughout the process and at the end with their help, outdoorsy approved the repair. This is very important, because it was on of the situation where AdventureKT was in loss, they couldnt use the vehicle for few days. But Chris kept his cool. One day i was upset and I was close to loose my cool, but Christ was professional with his assuring voice and did whatever he promised to do, in this not so ideal situation. Will rent from AdventureKT again, but do read the fine print of the insurances, which I was offered to purchase from outdoorsy.

Sandy Vans to the Rescue!…read more So... my original awning decided to pick a fight with the wind. The wind won. Turns out my Exclusive Outfitters-built Sprinter van had a VERY heavy electric Dometic awning supported by only TWO mounting brackets. And just to make things more interesting, those brackets were attached with riv-nuts drilled into the corner of my roof--which also happens to be a pop-top. I'm no engineer, but a giant heavy awning + two brackets + a pop-top roof apparently wasn't the winning combination we all hoped for. Enter Sandy Vans. I live in San Diego and needed a replacement awning ASAP because we're leaving for Utah in a couple of days. I contacted Sandy Vans and had an awesome experience from the very beginning. I spoke with Cindy two days in a row, and she was fantastic--super helpful, courteous, patient, and accommodating. When I came in to pick up the awning, if she didn't know the answer to one of my questions, she didn't just shrug and send me on my way. She immediately found someone who did. That kind of customer service goes a long way. Then came Braden. Also extremely helpful and accommodating. He handled my purchase and even gave me his cell number so I could text him if I decided to install the awning myself and needed some technical support. He did briefly mistake my Sprinter for a Ford Transit... I'll forgive him. My van has a pop-top, so it doesn't look like the 9-foot-tall Sprinter skyscrapers that make up about 90% of camper vans these days. Then Brian came out from the shop and actually took the time to look over my van and roof rack to figure out how I could mount the new awning. He gave me several ideas, explained different options, and made the whole project seem doable. Sandy Vans offered to install it, but apparently I enjoy making my life more difficult, so I decided to tackle the installation myself with a good friend. About 2.5 hours, some cutting, grinding, a few choice words directed at the old mounting brackets, and probably a questionable amount of confidence later... NEW AWNING INSTALLED! What impressed me most about Sandy Vans was that they were helpful even after realizing I might not be paying them to do the installation. They still took the time to answer questions, look at my setup, offer advice, and make themselves available if I ran into problems. That says a lot about a business. I highly recommend Sandy Vans for their customer service, knowledge, courtesy, availability, and willingness to actually help their customers. Cindy, Braden, and Brian were all great to deal with. Now hopefully this awning and the Utah wind can maintain a respectful relationship.

I finally got around to reaching out to Sandy Vans to see about getting a replacement and was told that "this item is outside of their return window" (which is 30 days) but they could offer me $50 off towards a new $200 bug screen.. which seems silly considering the first one fell apart. I'm not sure about their other products, but the bug screens are garbage! I declined their pitiful offer of $50 off a new one and told them I'd purchase from a company with a more durable product. I'd recommend anyone else thinking about buying this product do the same!

We own a travel trailer and a 5th wheel, but our tow vehicle was out of commission. Despite this setback, we had a camping trip planned with a few other families. We reached out to JaeBug Trailer Rentals and received a response immediately. Booking was super easy; they were incredibly accommodating, especially since we had many moving parts and I can be a bit high-maintenance when coordinating these types of things with other families. We rented the 36' Genesis Supreme toy hauler, which was in pristine condition! Even though we brought everything from our travel trailer, they provided all the necessities and even had the beds made up. It literally came with everything you would need as a starting point. Where we were camping, it was HOT (high 90s to the 100s) during the day, and the A/C was amazing! The "master" bedroom had a REAL mattress; it was so comfortable, I didn't want to get out of bed. Not only was the trailer itself fantastic, but the customer service was also exceptional. The team at JaeBug Trailer Rentals was always available to answer any questions and went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect trip. They even provided thoughtful touches like extra blankets and kitchen supplies, making us feel right at home. The process was so easy, I'm seriously considering never taking our trailers out again, selling them, and just using JaeBug Trailer Rentals for all our future trips.
