WOW where do I even begin.... I wish I had taken the previous reviewers' advice and steered clear of RVFunRental. I ended up being another victim of a ridiculous insurance claim that had completely no merit. $1,500(RVShare deductable) was charged 2 months after the trip. And on top of it all RVFunRental didn't even tell us there were any issues. Walked the RV upon return and noted everything looked great. In fact we were the ones who had issues with the RV during the trip. Details below.... First red flag, RVFunRental did a bait and swap with our RV a few weeks before the trip. They said the previous one had issues and gave us a different one. At departure, we met with Greg from RV Fun Rental in Mission Viejo. This is how they service OC clients, meet in Mission Viejo with the RV and a car towed behind and then use the car to return to their office. We walked the C20 Entegra Class C with Greg from RVFunRental and the RV was very dirty (2nd red flag). We took photos of the RV before, inside and outside, and decided to move forward with our trip. Once we arrived at our destination and tried to start the generator it would not work. We called RVFunRental directly and they tried to walk us through a fix. Nothing worked and a mechanic could not come to our location. We had to deal with no AC or power with the June heat. It was very frustrating! Basically, a glorified tent. We coordinated the return of the RV with Greg to meet in Mission Viejo. Greg walked the RV with us and we informed about the issues we had with the generator and AC during our trip. It was very hot and unfortunate that the generator would not start. He apologized for the inconvenience and noted they would do their best to make it 'right'. He then proceeded to hook up his car to the RV(tow his vehicle using the RV) and drive back to their office located at 1553 S. Coast Hwy Oceanside, CA. The drive from Mission Viejo to Oceanside is about 40 miles. I tried to coordinate with Miguel from their office about our trip issues and a refund but nothing prevailed. He ghosted me and said he couldn't do anything. So I paid $1,805 for the RV and had no power basically to the RV! No refund or partial refund was ever given to me. RVShare and RVFunRental ignored my claim issues. A few days later we received an email from RVShare stating that there was a claim against us. I replied saying they MUST have it wrong since we were the ones who had issues. A month or so later RVShare again reached out and said the claim from RVFunRental was still open and that it is regarding "..the ABS light and traction control light coming on. This could indicate overheated brake components from improper use, harsh braking, or incorrect driving practices." We had no issues with braking or driving during our trip. The actual RV drove just fine. My husband, who drove, has a class A license and literally drives large vehicles for work. We have also owned RV's before in the past. To say we 'improperly used the brakes' is insane! And on top of it, as noted before, Greg used the RV after we returned it in Mission Viejo to tow his car back to their office. If there really were issues after our reservation, why would he proceed to drive the RV 40 additional miles towing a vehicle! I have been battling with RVShare as well since they deemed the claim OK and charged me the $1,500 deductable. RVFunRental's claim for this repair was $4,290!!!!! Absolutely insane that they are claiming we caused this damage! We literally had no issues with the brakes. RVFunRental has done this before to other renters as well. I added the reviews/ complaints from the Better Business Bureau below. PLEASE PLEASE do you own research and understand the RVShare insurance. It's very easy for 'owners' to submit claims and note that it was caused by the renter. It's an easy way for them to get money to fix outstanding issues, maintenance, etc. on their RVs. Smells A LOT like insurance FRAUD. I would NOT recommend using RVShare and would definitely not recommend using RVFunRental. I feel completely taken advantage of. **RENTER BEWARE - DO NOT BOOK THRU RV FUN RENTAL. General Manager Miguel, Matt, and this company are scammers. We booked a RV (#C15 Luxury Sunseeker) through RVFunRental (*RFR) on the RVShare site on 3/31--for travel 7/10-7/18. The RV we booked sleeps 10--with bunk beds, modern décor, and new amenities. On Monday, 7/6, 4 days before our trip--*RFR cancelled our RV booking, and sent a message through the RVShare app. *RFR indicated that our RV was damaged due to gas found in the water system--and offered a subpar alternative replacement--with fewer specs, less sleeping spots (sleeps only 8), and less modern décor & amenities. We declined the alternative RV--and called *RFR to speak with Matt, and GM Miguel. Later, we found *many* negative reviews for *RFR --many posted in June--after our March booking. We requested *RFR to correct their error--and offer an equivalent swap, or RV with more specs at their cost. This is standard expectation and professional customer service--for listing a damaged and dangerous vehicle for rent. Craziest part: *RFR is still actively listing the same damaged #C15 unit on RVShare's website!! *RFR is still accepting bookings for an RV they acknowledge is damaged, unsafe, and has gas in the water reserve. From the swap options, we chose a new RV (#C19) with fewer specs and slept fewer people. Miguel assured me that *RFR would do a clean swap and absorb any extra costs--to replace my damaged RV. GM Miguel then asked me to cancel my original 3/31/26 #C15 reservation through RVShare--and rebook directly through them. I refused this shady request. *RFR wanted me to create a paper trail where I initiate the RV cancellation--resulting in cancellation-fees on my end. When I refused to initiate the cancellation, Miguel/Matt/*RFR stopped answering their phone and never ever called me back since. I sent messages in the RVShare app--requesting follow-up and confirmation for my new #C19 RV replacement. After several hours of nonresponsive calls/texts, I began receiving brief, confusing, and uninformative screenshots in the RVShare app of my replacement RV--along with email confirmations that the new #C19 vehicle had replaced my reservation. *RFR instructed me to accept the new reservation in the app--however, the new booking had increased fees. When asked about the extra fees--that Miguel already agreed to cover, nobody responded to me in the app, and ignored all calls to explain and provide clarity. The next day, *RFR sent another app message--saying the #C19 vehicle had been rented, since I didn't accept the new booking (with unexplained added costs they promised I wouldn't incur). This is also a lie; the #C19 vehicle is still actively listed on RVShare for my exact travel dates. RVShare has since refunded my money--and my family scrambled to book another RV. Summary: 1) *RFR rented a damaged and unsafe #C15 vehicle that they knew had gas-contaminated water from a previous complaint. 2) *RFR bait-and-switch-cancelled my original booking with a subpar replacement. 3) *RFR wanted me to initiate a cancellation directly through RVShare and rebook through them instead (to create a false paper trail that I was cancelling my RV booking). 3) *RFR promised to correct their error and replace my RV with an equivalent vehicle with no added cost--when they in fact tried to get me to accept a new booking at additional/unexplained fees/charges. 4) *RFR cancelled the 2nd vehicle offered to me--claiming it was no longer available, when #C19 is still populating in RVShare listings. 5) *RFR stopped answering my calls/texts, and did not address their shady tactics in the RVShare messaging app. 5) The original damaged/unsafe #C15 with the gas-in-water tank problem is still actively listed by *RFR on the RVShare site! 6) *RFR has many recent negative reviews from May-June (posted after our March booking) for similar bait-and-switch tactics and nonresponsive, unprofessional customer service. I will never rent from this company again. Let me start by saying I am an experienced RV renter -- I seek out specific models based on what I know and what matters to me on a trip. The listing for this RV stated it came with an e-bike and Starlink. My rental agreement confirmed both. One week before pickup, I received a text from Oscar saying the e-bike and Starlink were actually add-ons, and that he needed to check availability. I responded by email pointing out that both were included in my signed rental agreement and that I expected either both items to be available or a price adjustment. No response. Oscar was not present when we arrived, and Dorian told me there was nothing he could do or he would get in trouble. He refused to call anyone or escalate the issue. I needed the RV, so I had no choice but to accept it. See the attached rental agreement. We specifically rent the Mercedes-Benz version because we are familiar with it, and a key reason is its self-leveling stabilization system, which minimizes rocking. We were not informed until we showed up that this feature had been disabled. Dorian claimed customers damage it. I paid a premium for this model specifically for that feature, and it was disabled without any prior notice. For a 2024 model, this RV is in rough shape. Everything functioned and it was reasonably clean, but the interior has clearly been neglected. Among other issues, the original shower slider was replaced with a cheap curtain rod rather than being properly repaired. See attached photos. DEPOSIT SCAM!!! AVOID THIS COMPANY We booked RV Fun Rental for a trip from California to Nevada. We communicated our trip and destination to RV Fun Rental at the time of booking, well in advance of our vacation. When we picked up the RV, the out-of-state registration tags had been expired for months and no current paperwork was available for us to take. This should have been the first red flag, and indicates questionable business practises for an RV rental company. We had to leave without proper registration for a week-long, out-of-state trip or cut our vacation short while waiting for what they guessed could be 2 additional days to get the paperwork. Before pickup, when we inquired about cleaning the RV for drop-off, Oscar told us we didn't need to clean the outside and for the interior, to clean it "similar to an Airbnb" (see screenshots). Feeling unsure about this, we went to an RV wash on the drive home to have the exterior professionally cleaned, just to avoid any potential charges. We also cleaned, vacuumed and mopped the interiors to return it in better condition than we received it. We returned the gas, propane and all water / waste tanks etc as we received them. The handover was friendly and Oscar followed up a couple of days later regarding small items left in the RV (a couple of washers, a sports bra and a whistle) indicating he had conducted a thorough inspection. Now for the multiple unapproved charges: Before our trip a $2,700 charge had been placed on our card. This was refunded after Oscar's inspection. Shortly thereafter we were charged $5000 with no explanation. At this point Oscar told us it had nothing to do with him and that he hadn't completed the inspection (despite being the one who sent us the photo of the items). We were told to contact the out-of-state accounting department, which is non-responsive and impossible to get ahold of, leaving us waiting for weeks without an explanation for this charge. A month later we still have no explanation as to what they're claiming this damage is - no photos or documentation as to why we are being charged $5000 for "damages" to this RV. We are not aware of anything that was broken during our rental period, misused, or not returned in the condition we had received it, and we have photo and video evidence proving this. Furthermore, after this unexplained $5000 charge they proceeded to charge us almost another $4,000, again without explanation or authorization. In the contract they have you sign, there is a clause stating you can't initiate a chargeback on your card for any RV Fun Rental charges without voiding the contract. A contract clause cannot make you waive your right to dispute unauthorized charges that lack explanation or documentation. A chargeback is between you and your financial institution. The fact they include this unenforceable clause in the contract raises my suspicion (along with multiple other customer reviews) that this is something they try often to see what they can get away with. This business is super shady and I highly recommend people avoid them unless you want to deal with weeks of random unsubstantiated charges for thousands of dollars. read more

We rented an RV from RV Fun Rental for one week at a total cost of approximately $11,000. Our contract stated that the security deposit was $2,700. Up until the end of the rental, everything seemed completely normal. Pickup went smoothly, we had no major issues during the rental, and drop-off was pleasant. We returned the RV without any damage and left believing we had had a good experience. What happened afterward has been absolutely infuriating. About a week after returning the RV, RV Fun Rental refunded us $2,754 and then, incredibly, charged us another $5,000. This was not the $2,700 deposit stated in our contract, it was an entirely different and significantly larger amount. When we immediately questioned the $5,000 charge, we dealt with an employee named Nicolas Gamez. His communication throughout this process was extremely concerning. His responses were vague, he would go days without responding, and we struggled to get a clear explanation of why $5,000 had been charged to us in the first place. We were eventually told that they needed to perform an inspection of the RV for damage and that the money would be refunded if no damage was found. The "inspection" then dragged on for weeks, with poor communication and little information from Nicolas about what was supposedly being investigated. After all of that, we were suddenly informed that we owed $4,975 in damages. We strongly dispute this charge. We did not return the RV with any damage. Even more unbelievable is that, despite claiming we owe $4,975, they initially provided us with NO photographs of the alleged damage, NO itemized list of damages, NO repair estimates, NO invoices, and not even a clear description of what exactly they were accusing us of damaging. How can a company charge someone $5,000, spend weeks supposedly conducting an inspection, and then claim almost the entire amount is owed without immediately providing clear evidence supporting the charge? The combination of the unexplained $5,000 charge, the weeks-long "inspection," Nicolas's vague and extremely slow communication, and the lack of documentation supporting nearly $5,000 in alleged damages has made this entire situation feel incredibly sketchy and deeply concerning. We went from being happy customers who had spent approximately $11,000 with this company to having to chase them for answers about thousands of dollars charged to our card AFTER the RV had already been returned. I would strongly caution anyone considering renting from RV Fun Rental. Photograph and video EVERY inch of the RV at pickup AND return, save every email and text message, keep your signed contract, document the handoff, and watch your credit card carefully after returning the vehicle. We are extremely disappointed and angry about how this has been handled, and we will be disputing charges. read more

The rental was a joke - it was old and had damage - the gas indicator did not work so we had to continuously pull over for gas so we didn't run out - the air was not able to keep RV cool in the very hot weather - when asked for a refund or partial refund and or a credit they originally gave us our money back - then changed their minds before it was returned to our account - and then they said they would refund us $400 and give us $1000credit (for a $2300 rental ) they refunded the money but never sent the credit - our rental was the end of July - beginning of August -I don't think we are getting the credit - read more

**RV FUN RENTAL IS A SCAM** I booked the C16 Leprechaun through RVshare dealing with Matt, Oscar, and Miguel. I messaged them with questions about the RV prior to booking. They informed me there's only one C16 despite multiple listings, and the photos and description they have listed for the RV are not accurate. This model does not have a fireplace or exterior kitchen as advertised. The RV was listed as $198/night, and they sent a booking request with an increase to $209/night. They attempted to charge me $295 for a delivery fee that is advertised as $199 and immediately began trying to privately sell me insurance outside of RVshare. When I explained that RVshare applies selected insurance upon booking, they wrote that RVshare's $24.99 fee is for roadside assistance. I paid in full, and RVshare requires either Commercial Insurance & Protection or RVshare Insurance & Protection to be applied at checkout. RV Fun Rental had their rental setup to immediately apply their Commercial Insurance & Protection. I paid a $95 DMV Check/Binder Processing Fee and an additional amount for Commercial Insurance & Protection. Following booking, RV Fun Rental immediately began contacting my private email and phone. They left a voicemail saying they don't carry commercial insurance. They wanted to privately sell me additional insurance beyond what I purchased with RVshare and needed the RV's VIN number added to my personal insurance. I explained that adding the VIN to my personal insurance can lead to claim denials, premium increases, and coverage gaps. They constantly threatened that my booking would be cancelled if I didn't purchase the insurance they are selling. They provided the attached contract with financial terms that conflicted with RVshare's terms and self-contradicted throughout the agreement. For example, their contract states that service fees and taxes are not refundable. Per RVshare, a portion of the service fees and taxes are refundable depending on the date of cancellation. Additionally, the cover page of their contract states specific dates and refund percentages, but within the agreement it states that there are no refunds under any circumstances. The contract also required my debit/credit card submitted directly to the owner, which is prohibited by RVshare. Signing an external agreement with conflicting financial terms off platform can null and void RVshare's agreement. I kept in constant communication with RVshare and included their customer service supervisor on all owner email communications. RVshare confirmed with RV Fun Rental that I was covered with their Commercial Insurance & Protection that was applied at booking. RV Fun Rental requested that I change that insurance policy to RVshare Insurance & Protection, and I agreed. RVshare recommended the owner refund me for the current purchased insurance and assured me that RV Fun Rental would not be requiring that I purchase additional insurance from them off platform. Yesterday, RV Fun Rental cancelled my booking with no explanation. This is two weeks after booking, paying in full, and purchasing insurance, and I'm 16 days out from my trip scrambling to find another RV. Do not rent from RVfun rental !!! they use RVshare . I have booked before with RVshare never had a problem . RV, fun rental are scammers .I rented an RV to be delivered on July 25 at 2 o'clock. At San Clemente State Beach They called and said it would be a little bit later at 3 o'clock. Nothing ...waited...they said there was traffic it would be there at 5:30. They wanted me to meet them outside of the campground at a Carl's Jr. outside of the state park I said absolutely not. They did not even have the address of where it was to be delivered. It was to be delivered to the campsite .. then they wanted to postpone the delivery for the next day ..i said absolutely not. We're sitting at a campsite with children with no RV ...it was delivered at 8 o'clock in the evening six hours later the guy that delivered it Miquel did not properly set up the RV RV had two bathrooms. The back bathroom was never hooked up. The sewage line was not hooked up correctly. The shower had no water pressure at all The back door bathroom could not be opened The rv wasn't level they did not leave me a key to the RV. I had to call for a key to be dropped off. Both TVs did not work. horrible experience!! this rental cost $2100. For seven days .. They also kept adding cost. Scammers. read more

This was the worst rental experiences I've ever had. The RV was not delivered in the condition promised, and multiple issues were discovered during and after the rental. On top of that, the deposit handling and communication after returning the RV were extremely unprofessional and delayed without clear justification. When you rent an RV, you expect transparency, basic maintenance, and honest business practices -- none of which were provided here. Instead, getting straightforward answers required repeated follow-ups, and accountability was avoided. I am now documenting everything and preparing to pursue legal action to recover damages and resolve this situation properly. I strongly recommend that anyone considering renting here think twice and make sure everything is documented in writing before handing over any money. And if you do rent from them be prepared to have your deposit held from you and picked at as much as they can and hope that you just give up and they get to keep it. Be VERY advised to not use cash as a deposit... at least with card your bank can help you win against these guys and get all your money back. read more

My wife and I recently rented an RV from RV Fun Rentals for Burning Man, and I must say, I was extremely disappointed with the experience. We paid top dollar for our rental, while others lied renting from Cruise America for half the price. Upon picking up the RV, I noticed a significant crack in the seating area. I took a picture and made sure the staff was aware of it, but it seemed like they didn't take it seriously. While we had an Epic time on our journey to the playa and the RV itself performed well on the road and camping. The troubles started when it came time to return the vehicle. We left a little early to avoid a massive dust storm, and we ensured the RV was spotless before drop-off. Even when we were told all we had to do was wipe off the countertops. I even spent half the day cleaning the inside and I used a pressure washer to the clean the dust from the exterior. I dropped it off and had issues and again told them about the issue with the seat that was already documented. However, after patiently waiting for the return of our deposit of $3000 and had death in family upon return, I received an email stating they were charging us $2,000 for a broken seat and a missing knob on the radio. Thankfully, I had taken before photos to prove the condition of the RV when we picked it up. Without those photos, I have no doubt they would have charged us an additional $2,000 on top of the already overpriced rental fees for festivals. Hopefully someone else can learn from this review and ALWAYS be CAREFUL document the condition of rental items thoroughly before and after be cautious with companies and people that don't have integrity. If I could leave zero stars I would. My 7 friends and I rented a RV for EDC 2025. (7am) On our way to Vegas from San Diego we noticed that our driver's side front tire was smoking. We had to pull over to a parking lot in riverside because the smoke was so bad. We had drivers on the freeway flagging us down to tell us our wheel was on fire. Once we pulled over, we inspected the tire and realized the bearing seal for the hub was leaking bearing grease all over the brake rotors. The burning grease is what was causing the smoke. We contacted RV Fun Rental. They sent out a mechanic to look at the wheel and the hub assembly. He arrived around 8:30am. The mechanic who showed up didn't have an impact or the proper tooling to take the tire off. He inspected the wheel, dumped a can of brake clean on the rotors and left to get more brake clean. He came back and stated he had to hire different mechanics to fix the problem because he didn't have the correct tools. (9:30am) The mechanic called new mechanics to fix the problem. These guys finally showed up around 11am. The new mechanics supposedly had the correct parts to fix the issue and the tooling. They were wrong. They got the tire off and attempted to get the brake calipers off but stripped the bolts that hold the caliper on the rotor. They had to extract the pins which took close to 2 hours. Now its 2pm. The tire is off and the hub assembly is off. The new mechanics don't have the correct parts so now they need to search for them. We asked the original mechanic why he didn't get the parts for them and he stated "it's no longer his job now that they hired new mechanics". This guy works for RV Fun Rental and doesn't care about the customer. I (the customer) pulled up the hub assembly parts list in 10 minutes from the internet. The original mechanic finally just leaves because he's doing nothing and doesn't want to help. The new mechanics set off to find the correct parts. They take 3 hours to get the parts. They were gone so long we had to ward off crack heads from steeling stuff that they left out in the parking lot. They had to go to 2 different places. Fun fact, this RV we rented uses the same chassis as freightliner semi-truck. These parts are plentiful and should be easy to find. One would even say the RV company should have the parts in stock for their own RV's they rent. Anyways... it's now close to 6pm. The new mechanics start to put the hub assembly back together. The parts needed were 2 bearings and 2 seals 2 pins. They somehow take forever putting it all back together. It's now 8:45pm. They mechanics are now done but they are keeping the RV up in the air until someone pays them. RV Fun Rental took so long to pay the mechanics that we had to give these guys some money just to leave and head to Vegas. Long story short. We missed our arrival time into the event which was at 11am. Lost out on the first night and could not check in till the next morning. We were stuck in a parking lot for 14 hours dealing with inept people. RV Fun Rental handled the situation so poorly. We truly did not feel like we were cared for at all as the customer. The rest of my party will be writing bad reviews as well. We reached out to RV Fun Rental about our situation after we returned our RV. They haven't done anything to rectify the situation. The manager continually just states he will get back to us but never does. Bad customer service and terrible technical support from their maintenance team. Scammers. Rented in September an RV brought it back and signed off on inspection. All smiles, no problems - then 5 days later they withdraw $2000 dollars - which was a retainer for damages - wont answer your calls - or emails or the bank contacts - they have breached all their own terms, contracts and legalities - basically just thieves. Do not give them your bank account details not even credit cards. There are other reviews over the past 2/3 yrs that they have done the same thing to other families especially if you live outside of California .wish I had read the reviews properly before using them . Beware of this family - seems they have been doing this for years to poor families. We now have bank fees, overdraft charges and was unable to pay our mortgage :( read more

I reserved a 2 bath/sleeps 10 RV and what was delivered was a 1 bath/sleeps 6 RV. When I asked the delivery person the response was "we should change the pictures". Also, the deposit that I was charged was not released though I received an email that the release was done. When I called, Klaidas answered and was not able to answer any of the questions, only providing an email. He made no attempt to rectify the overcharge for a smaller unit. The drop off and pickup was also 2 hours later than documented. In all... very much a bait and switch company with no customer service support. read more

Our reservation thru a RV rental app fell thru at the very last moment causing us to nearly cancel our week long trip we had planned for over a month. My husband called RV Fun Rental around 4pm on a Wednesday to ask if there was any chance they had something for us. Klaidas answers and was AMAZING! He said he had a RV for us and to come right over! He get us all set up, paperwork done, an orientation and even helps us load our stuff. He's checked in on us regularly and answered right away when we had a few questions. The RV was great. 5 stars despite the fact that our RV that we rented broke down. It was a good thing it broke down at our campsite than being stuck in the desert. Otherwise we would've been stuck in a desolate area in the heat for hours before anybody can help us out. But we were well prepared for it. Continue to read & you'll understand why I gave it 5 stars. In any event, we never been in this position before & we notified RV Fun Rentals (Oscar, Lynn, Trevor, & Juan) about it & they have sent Peter to fix the problem. Peter is so awesome & great! It was like, God sent from Heaven! I'm not mechanically inclined to this level nor had any tools to fix the problem if I was mechanically inclined. Peter did his diagnosis & he told me it was a manufacture defect part & not me who broke it nor RV Fun Rentals fault. And again, it was a manufacture defect. In short, the transmission coolant line sprung a leak. See the attached picture. This transmission situation is something that you don't typically check compared to checking the oil level, the coolant level, & the air in the tires. In any event, Peter would've fixed the problem right away, but it became a mission for him. Reason being, we were on the west side of Lake Tahoe camping. Finding parts or any local mechanic around that area is almost impossible due to being the weekend. Why? Peter tried to call them & they were closed. So Peter had to drive an hour to Reno to get the parts. He found the part he needed at the Ford dealership. After installing it, we took it for a test drive & it passed!!! NO LEAKAGE!!!! Like I said before, our RV broke down & Peter fixed it!!! That's the reason why we gave them 5 stars. So if you have any mechanical issues that goes wrong & you happened to get Peter to fix the problem, then you're absolutely in good hands. Peter can fix anything IMO!!! I hope his bosses will read this & give him a raise! He's legitimately like a Golden ticket for a lottery or God sent from heaven. THANK YOU RV Fun Rentals for sending Peter!!! WATCH OUT - DON'T EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY IN THIS DISHONEST AND FRAUDULENT COMPANY!! THEY REFUSED TO GIVE BACK MY DEPOSIT, "CANCELED MY RESERVATION" AND STILL TRIED TO CHARGE MY CARD 10 DIFFERENT TIMES, WITH DIFFERENT AMOUNTS OF MONEY, FROM $8,000 to $500, BEING ABLE TO TAKE EXTRA 3K FROM MY CARD, UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Here's the whole story: I made a booking for an RV with Oscar back in May (to be picked up at the end of this month), in the beginning everything was super nice, he was very friendly and pushy on a way to try to close the reservation and collect the downpayment as soon as possible, I get it im also working in sales and make commission so I didn't have any issues with that, at the moment it seemed like he was out best choice and promised me everything we were looking for so we went ahead and reserved the RV. Going over all the details and emails received with the links about what's in the contract I found out that a lot of the things that were promised at first were no longer included, and even worst that the deposit when picking up the RV was no longer $3,000 but $5,000, I couldn't believe what I was reading and I contacted Oscar via text and he mentioned that I was wrong and he never promised it, so that's exactly when I start doubting if I should still trust them even though I've read before negative reviews for other people that hired them, specially in terms of deposit money that they don't want to return fully or any other issues with not fair charges. I decided to called to clarify everything the next day and no longer excited to work with a company that can't keep up their promises, I spoke to the "operations manager" a Russian guy that at first was kind of rude refusing everything and then tried to be nice with me giving me what was promised at first and then denied, but I this point I lost 100% trust in them and didn't want to take the risk of loosing my deposit as other people did. He said he can only cancel the reservation and I will loose my $2,000 deposit (first because the refund was supposed to be good only if canceled within 30 days, and then only if I canceled before 30 days the booking starts, at this point being 3 weeks before)... again different information.... And EVEN THOUGH I have also a text from Oscar saying I could cancel anytime and get my refund, I'm sharing the screenshot here. At this point all I wanted to be done and don't deal with this kind of people anymore, next thing I found out is I received a call from my credit card company concerned of fraud because this company tried to charge different amount of money for 10 different times, unreal and 100% disappointing how low they can go to try to make money from you, this proving once again I should never trust them in the first place and thankful I'm never going to use their services. read more

Renting the RV went smoothly thanks to Oscar who was great. We had a fun time on our trip but had an unfortunate mishap with a tree branch in a parking lot which tore the rolled up awning. When we returned the RV, Klaidas, the Director of Operations, told me it would be a simple repair that my insurance would cover without an issue. My AAA insurance claim rep told me they just needed an estimate of the repair in order to process the claim but it's now been over 3 months without getting the repair claim finalized simply because Klaidas refuses to send the necessary information to my insurance company. He has not responded to countless emails, phone calls and texts - so unprofessional and so frustrating! I hesitate to recommend this company solely because of this behavior. read more

We attempted to rent from RV Fun Rental via the RVShare website. We sent prior communication asking about fees and cost as we noticed there were fewer compared to other listings. Matt S promptly responded and ensured us there were no hidden fees and costs were all upfront. We sent a booking request. RVShare had me input my driver's license information and take a picture to confirm my identity then payment for the full amount and sent the booking request. When I saw we were nearing the 24 hour window and and we did not have confirmation, I sent a message asking if any other information was needed. Matt S responded that the RV we were discussing was no longer available and the only one available was $50 more a day (which would have been fine) but there was an additional $1,500 deposit was now required. I also noticed that the original RV we requested was still showing as available for the dates we requested on the RV share website though The dealer said otherwise via private chat. I don't know if this was some sort of bait and switch or the owners bias was showing once my identifying information was provided but $1,500 deposit suddenly manifesting to take a local staycation that would have likely kept us well under the 100 miles a day included for free seems outrageous and predatory. All of this happened just hour before our anniversary trip. read more

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS BUSINESS. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. They tried the bait and switch on our RV by creating a "new reservation" for a different RV than the one we reserved weeks ago. We found out the day we were supposed to pick it up. They asked if we wanted to switch our RV over the phone a week ago, we said no, and they changed the reservation anyway. The worst part - they were extremely rude and lied and said we agreed to the switch. Of course all of the switch communication was over the phone. It's a good reminder to get everything in writing.
