We show up at our appointment time at 11 AM and we are greeted with, "oh the van is sold, but if you would still like to see it you can." So disrespectful of our time! It looks like a patriotic bomb went off inside that place. It took us 30 minutes to get to their store location from our home. They had plenty of time to call and let me know that the van had been sold, but apparently their front office staff and their sales staff don't communicate or care. I can confidently say that I will never ever be back at their store, location or spend a dime with their company.

I was very close to purchasing a travel trailer that was significantly heavier than what my truck could safely tow. During the process, my salesperson reassured me that "it would be alright," which is concerning given how important towing capacity and safety are when it comes to RVs. Thankfully, I took the time to educate myself before signing anything. Once I understood the actual numbers, it became clear that the setup would not have been safe. What stood out most was that at no point did anyone thoroughly review my vehicle's specifications or walk me through towing limits in a meaningful way. That should be a basic part of the process. If your salesperson isn't asking detailed questions about your vehicle or clearly explaining towing capacity, that's a major red flag. I strongly recommend doing your own research and double-checking everything before making a decision.

I just had a wonderful experience with Little Guy Trailers. Scott and the entire team made this one…read moreof the smoothest and easiest transactions I've ever had. I initially contacted them by email regarding a trade-in and the purchase of one of their used trailers. We worked through all the details by phone and text beforehand, which gave me the confidence to drive to San Diego knowing exactly what the deal would be. When I arrived, everything was exactly as promised. The trailer was ready, they honored every number we had negotiated, and there were absolutely no surprise charges or junk fees--just a straightforward, honest deal. I transferred my belongings from my old trailer to the new one, signed the paperwork, and was on my way. The entire process was efficient, transparent, and stress-free. Scott was fantastic throughout the entire transaction--responsive, honest, and easy to work with. If you're considering purchasing a travel trailer, I highly recommend Little Guy Trailers. You won't be disappointed.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE…read more Paul, who I understand is a co-owner, was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I had legitimate questions about the warranty and nuCamp policy/process and instead of allowing me to ask questions, he kept interrupting me and would not let me speak. When I finally asked him whether he was going to allow me to ask my question, he said "You know, maybe this isn't the place for you. You should just leave" and he just walked away. Is this really how you treat someone ready to spend more than $40k in your establishment? From the moment he walked up, Paul seemed irritated to be having to answer any questions. Answering questions was an inconvenience. You know, if you can't answer questions, professionally, then you should be in another business, or in no business at ALL. I will NEVER spend my money at such an establishment. I will also be contacting nuCamp, because they should not be selling their products at this place. I would be careful about what this place is offering and their representations. Paul said there was no warranty on a "Demo", but nuCamp offers both a 1 year and 3 year warranty and those warranties are transferrable. This "Demo" was only a year old, yet Paul kept saying there was no warranty. They just wanted it off the lot as-is, which is not right. OR, they just wanted me to purchase their extended warranty. We didn't even get to that topic because he was so rude I just left.
