It's my dream to purchase a RV but I've hesitated to do it because it seems like too much work…read more I decided to do the next, best thing and rent an RV and you couldn't rent an RV from a nicer guy. It was my first time using an RV and renting one and I loved the experience. It's super awesome for the rental to be taken to your campground and for you to just go in and at the end of the trip you can just clean it and leave it there for them to pick up. One of the things we loved about the experience is that I believe that Jesse was super customer focused to ensure we had a great experience. He answered all of our questions and made sure everything was up to par. The pricing model is nice too. I was so excited that we could bring our lil pup on the trip because heck, he deserves an RV vacation too. The RV was in great condition and I can't wait to use one again. Plates, pots, utensils, dishwashing soap, toilet paper were all included. Loved everything about using JV RV Rentals. Highly recommend them.

Sandy Vans to the Rescue!…read more So... my original awning decided to pick a fight with the wind. The wind won. Turns out my Exclusive Outfitters-built Sprinter van had a VERY heavy electric Dometic awning supported by only TWO mounting brackets. And just to make things more interesting, those brackets were attached with riv-nuts drilled into the corner of my roof--which also happens to be a pop-top. I'm no engineer, but a giant heavy awning + two brackets + a pop-top roof apparently wasn't the winning combination we all hoped for. Enter Sandy Vans. I live in San Diego and needed a replacement awning ASAP because we're leaving for Utah in a couple of days. I contacted Sandy Vans and had an awesome experience from the very beginning. I spoke with Cindy two days in a row, and she was fantastic--super helpful, courteous, patient, and accommodating. When I came in to pick up the awning, if she didn't know the answer to one of my questions, she didn't just shrug and send me on my way. She immediately found someone who did. That kind of customer service goes a long way. Then came Braden. Also extremely helpful and accommodating. He handled my purchase and even gave me his cell number so I could text him if I decided to install the awning myself and needed some technical support. He did briefly mistake my Sprinter for a Ford Transit... I'll forgive him. My van has a pop-top, so it doesn't look like the 9-foot-tall Sprinter skyscrapers that make up about 90% of camper vans these days. Then Brian came out from the shop and actually took the time to look over my van and roof rack to figure out how I could mount the new awning. He gave me several ideas, explained different options, and made the whole project seem doable. Sandy Vans offered to install it, but apparently I enjoy making my life more difficult, so I decided to tackle the installation myself with a good friend. About 2.5 hours, some cutting, grinding, a few choice words directed at the old mounting brackets, and probably a questionable amount of confidence later... NEW AWNING INSTALLED! What impressed me most about Sandy Vans was that they were helpful even after realizing I might not be paying them to do the installation. They still took the time to answer questions, look at my setup, offer advice, and make themselves available if I ran into problems. That says a lot about a business. I highly recommend Sandy Vans for their customer service, knowledge, courtesy, availability, and willingness to actually help their customers. Cindy, Braden, and Brian were all great to deal with. Now hopefully this awning and the Utah wind can maintain a respectful relationship.

I finally got around to reaching out to Sandy Vans to see about getting a replacement and was told that "this item is outside of their return window" (which is 30 days) but they could offer me $50 off towards a new $200 bug screen.. which seems silly considering the first one fell apart. I'm not sure about their other products, but the bug screens are garbage! I declined their pitiful offer of $50 off a new one and told them I'd purchase from a company with a more durable product. I'd recommend anyone else thinking about buying this product do the same!

They made it everything perfect from start to finish. The RV was setup like a charm and had everything we needed to start the trip. A few chairs, a large mat and cleaning supplies were included . Air conditioning in this unit was freezing and refreshing after hot surf trips all day. There were enough pots/pans/paper plates and silverware ready for all 8 of us. The slide gives lots of space with the bunk beds in the back a bonus. They are the best in San Diego and we HIGHLY recommend.

They didn't provide a key which I requested multiple times and was told they would bring but never did. I paid for setup. The camper was extremely wobbly and then on day 3 the camp staff informed me they never lowered the stabilizers on the RV when they set up. I've asked for a discount but they refuse to respond. I tried to book them via RV Share but they pushed me to their site probably because their service is so bad. They stopped replying to any of my calls and text with in the first day of a four day trip. Stay away from this company Update: everything I said was 100% true and I have receipts. RV wasn't set up as the stabilizers were not deployed. We contacted you via text, and phone calls with voicemails multiple times. You even replied at one point and said someone would come which never did. I contacted you via RV Share then you texted me and sent me to your site. I'm not bashing any small company, I'm pointing out completely unacceptable business practices.

I reached…read moreout to customer support to ask what the charge was for, however the chat bot was only able to state either damages or toll fees. We did not take toll roads so it would imply damages. I asked to speak to a "live agent" which is still a chat bot, but they give you their "name". I asked for a list of damages (since the vehicle came in horrendous condition) and was told I had to submit an email form because they didn't know. I submitted an email and received an email back that they "don't operate their business this way", bla bla, and I would receive a credit for $368 for the condition I received the vehicle in. I still asked for a breakdown of the damages I supposedly caused and how I caused them 10 days after drop-off (was it the next renter? their staff? someone with access to the vehicle? something already present?) and then received another email that I would actually only receive a $42 credit because of the $326 in outstanding damages. I replied asking how the $311 for damages suddenly became $326 and why nobody could tell me what the damages WERE, what type of damage, what proof they had the vehicle was damaged (was it inside? outside? what was it?) and asked for an itemized breakdown, but then they stopped responding. I filed a claim with the BBB however they are rated F, not accredited, and all other BBB claims say they were not responded to so it won't go anywhere. Just stay away.

We fumbled through a few things like "how do you turn on the water" but the Luv2Camp team was available to us via text throughout our stay. I honestly must have texted them 30 times that weekend, and each time they responded quickly. On at least one occasion during our stay, they showed up to the site just to check in and make sure everything was going ok. Our camper was great, but this company earned 5 stars in my eyes for their communication, availability, and willingness to help.
