Probably the worst top golf I have been to. Every time I attempt to go with friends at night or during the day with my daughter there is always a 30min to 1 1/2 hour wait. I wouldn't we stating that if it were due to being extremely busy. No it is due to poor management and not having enough staff to occupy the amount of bays they have. When we do get the chance to play, we have a great time but still notice the lack of customer service available. I just walked out with about 20+ people due to a 1 hour wait at 3pm on a Saturday with almost a whole floor open.. fix your business before people just stop trying to come. read more

Terrible experience for a team outing. Took my team to play golf and have some food. Ordered a drink, after arrival moments later the drink was gone after someone came and picked up empty plates and cups. Told the waiter and she grabbed her manager. Long story short manager could help out unless we had "concrete evidence of which of his employees took the drink." Ended up getting told "it is what it is" and basically was told too bad so sad. Today was my first time going to Top-golf and I must say it was an amazing experience. I couldn't stop talking about how much fun I was having. Even though I sucked at golf I still had a blast. What really made the experience worthwhile was our waitress Marina she was awesome! Great smile, amazing personality and you can tell she loves her job. I will request her every time I go. I made it to Topgolf wohoo. This TopGolf was conveniently located in the Webster/Clearlake area off of I-45 a little ways after Baybrook mall. It was a sunny Sunday afternoon and the place was packed. My husband having already stepped foot in the place without me (will deal with him at a later time) already had his membership card so I had the luxury of standing in a line that led out the front door to get myself and my son a membership in order for us to play. It is not necessary to get a membership if you go with someone else. You can simply play under their membership if you don't care to keep score but were a competitive bunch so we wanted our own scores. While I stood in line my husband ran over to the concierge to reserve a bay. We ended up with a one hour wait so we headed over to the bar/lounge and ordered some drinks and a bite to eat. I didn't even have to wait an hour. Once we put in our drink orders we got buzzed for our bay. We headed over there and made sure to get all our drinks transferred as well as closed out our tab in order to start a new one at our bay with a new waitress. Easy peezy. We swiped our cards, paid for an hour and began playing. Our waitress came by immediately to take any additional orders and we also got to request clubs for my son as the adult one are way too large. For someone that never played anything remotely close to golf not even mini golf I have to say I need a lot of practice. Seriously did worst than some of the little kids there but that is alright, its just another good reason to have to go back. It was a chilly afternoon but each bay is equipped with their own heating system so we never felt cold. Eventually we worked up an appetite so my husband ordered the turkey burger, I ordered the sunrise burger and we got chicken tenders for my son. My burger was a bit bland but I was hungry so I ate most of it minus the bread. Fries were seasoned well with a hint of rosemary. My husbands turkey burger was topped with a slaw but didn't have much flavor either. The chicken tenders were tasty but the batter was a bit oily. My only complaint was that we got no napkins or utensils with our food so we had to wait for a waitress to show up which took quite a while. For some reason they just all seemed to disappear. I'm interested in trying the flat breads next time I visit. For drinks I tried the patron paloma, very light and refreshing and we also ordered one of the fish bowls to share FLAGSTICK SWIZZLE. For an hour of fun and family bonding this is a great place. It's a wonderful hang out for large groups, girls night/brunch and family fun. read more

Worst experience ever our family and friends. We had to hang out and waited for 4 hours for an available bay to open up and at the end we where accused of "groping" the host. We got booted out in a very rude way by a TopGun security. The managers promised us to review surveillance camera and till now we have no answers. We had a lot of girls in our group nieces, nephews, sisters, Brothers, aunts, and friends. We spent over 400$ there and it felt like they robed us of our time and money. Worst, Customer Services Ever! From the host all the way to management! Not worth waiting for 3 1/2 to find your whole family (a group of 20), be embarrassed, humiliated, and got kicked out of the Top Golf by their security. If you are ready to get humiliated, embarrassed, have bad service and get kicked out of the facility, than this place is definitely for you! To top it off, be sure to ask for Khrystian A., she will make sure you will have no services and will create drama for both you and your family. After waiting for 1 1/2 on our food and drinks with bad service, our group got kicked out after 3 1/2 hrs of wait because the head of security believe that we were intoxicated after 2 rounds of mix drink. Are you serious? There must be a limit at Top Golf, 1 drink per person? What place would kick you out for 2 MIX DRINKS? You will get a kick out of this. The story changes as we speak to the GM, stating that your people touched our people, with no proof or evidence, he asked us to leave. Wow, sounds pretty racist to me. If that was to be the case, PROVE IT! We waited for 3 1/2 hours to play some golf and here we are out the door. How embarrassing! We've place comments on yelp to find that our comments got deleted. Can it be that they have no evidence against us, and kicked us out because we are Asian? We've tried to contact the cooperate office and the operations manager and got a reply stating that they will let us know within that 24-48 hours on exactly what had happened that day. This location needs to work on their waitstaff-handled service. The game experience was great, I'm no golfer but can chip to my heart's content (all the way to dismal losses within our group, but that's ok lol) but we had a really hard time keeping drinks filled. Though there were only about 9-10 bays occupied during the time of our visit (a Monday early-afternoon) our server would disappear from the (3rd) floor entirely for long stretches at a time, which is kind of a bummer considering part of the fun is a cold drink and snack-y nibbles to go with the game. We had a great time and would go back if I had too. The bug issue was the long lines and multiple lines to make this a unique club experience but this isn't a country club. It is a basically a bar + fun. Keep it simple and get people in and out. There was a greeter to help out with long line that wasn't doing anything. Getting your membership guy was confused and misspelled names on membership cards 4 out of 12. Schedule guy was great and helpful but was waiting on membership card guy. This place has serious potential but somehow I am usually disappointed. Had only one good experience on a Saturday morning. Food has been spot on, sometimes not hot upon delivery but always tastes good. We recently came here on a Saturday night. The bay we were brought to was filthy. I could not even sit on one of the cushions because it had ketchup or frosting still on it. Sprinkles had to be wiped off the other cushions before I sat. The floor had chunky bread crumbs all over. Do the servers know what cleanliness is or have they been trained to use a broom and dust pan? We were greeted twice by two different servers. Not sure if they team their sections or not but either way it seems disorganized when you have to tell someone you have already been helped. We had to flag someone down to get another beer. They kept asking if we wanted to order food but maybe try recommending an item instead of constantly trying improve your check average by passively taking orders. The crowd is horrible. Last two times we had to tell the people next to us to not stand within the red line behind us. Or they walk through our bay because they have no manners or stand in it to look at someone's social media so I have to look at someone's butt in my bay. Once a bunch of unsupervised boys were running through all the bays right in the way of the backswing. Why do I have to be the parent? The management should be enforcing the rules. If you pay for a bay nobody else should be in it. If you pay for a hotel room do random strangers get to hang out in it too? All in all, cleanliness and rules clearly are not enforced. It makes for an unenjoyable time. I will be going to the driving range from now on and cocktailing for my own beer. At least people have some respect and etiquette at a real golf course vs amateur hour at filthy TopGolf. Waste of money for the experience. read more

This was my second time going to this Topgolf, and I had such a great experience thanks to Kyler. He went above and beyond to my sure me and family were comfortable. He was very patient with us and gave us tips on how to get a good swing. Kyler is one of the best servers I have encountered. To top it all off the food was amazing. Let me start out by saying I'm not a golfer. I've hit a few balls in the past, so I know the difference between a 4 iron and a 9 iron, but that's it. A couple friends invited me one sunday and I decided to use this excuse to try it out. I'd heard of the place, and I expected a driving range but with a bar. It's way more than that and very fun. You sit and drink and eat with friends, and every few minutes, you get up and do something physical, but not too physical...so it's kinda like bowling but without the bad shirts. You rent a bay and the bays are big with a nice table and sofa. There are overhead heaters for when it's cold and fans for when it's hot. You rent the bays by time, $20/hr in the am and $40 in the afternoon/evening. That's it. The balls are dispensed by the machine in your bay. No running to get another bucket of balls. There are a selection of clubs permanently at each bay, no rental charge. There are servers for drinks and food, and the food was actually decent. Our waiter was attentive and nice. The golfing part isn't like a plain driving range. They made it into a game. It's all electronic, the balls have RFID's. There are HUGE holes in the ground you try to hit into. Scoring is based on which hole and how close to the center. There are different games to select with different scoring systems. Pick the right game and you don't have to hit far to do well, just be consistent. We had fun and since none of us were decent golfers, we each won a game or two, and always had scores. It was a fun time, and I'll be back with these friends or others. The hardest part will be convincing others that you don't have to be a golfer to enjoy it. One suggestion: Instead of buying blocks of time, just let us run a tab and charge at the end. We wanted more time after 2 hours, but could only buy another whole half hour which was too much. So I came here with a friend just to release some stress after work. My friend got a bay at 1055 and we started with an hour. At 1150, we tried to extend our time for an hour and the price was $40/hour. The price is usually $20/hour before 12 PM. I asked the waitress what was going on and she stated that the new policy starting today is that they starting charging $40 starting at 1145 AM since people are coming in right at noon to get the $20/hour rate. Moving the time up to 1145 AM doesn't solve the problem because people will just come right at 1145 AM. Other than that, my experience was okay. Nothing special. read more
