Absolutely the worst Top Golf experience we have ever had anywhere in the country. We came in with customers at 5pm on Friday May 10th . Though I am going to bitch about what happened here , the staff was super friendly and seemed concerned about our issues, but never did anything to move us or correct them in a manner consistent with the many other Top Golf venues we have visited. Our waitress was super sweet, but in over her head. First we were given a bay quickly. Immediately our waitress came and took our beer orders. One hour later we got our pitcher and the beers. Appetizer we ordered never showed up . My wife went and ordered one from bar and came back with it and it had a hair in middle of it. Refund on anything? NOPE.......Never once did she ask us for another item in the 2+ hours we were there. Now onto the golf. The machine was malfunctioning while playing. It was not registering all the womens shots. They sent over a guy to look at it, he proceeded to hit 10 balls, and 5 of his did not register. I asked to move and he said he was calling manager. That guy came and he said he was working on nearby cameras and maybe that would fix it. It did not and he said he would see what he could do. They added 30 minutes to our play time, because they ate up 30 minutes trying to fix it. They said they would be back to see what they could do for us. The machine continued for the rest of play time not registering 90% of the womens and 40% of the men's shots. Absolutely BS...We never got moved, never got a credit for jack shit, we had to go find the waitress to close out, never found manager, so we left with a $170 plus bill for a shitty time. I was so embarrassed that I took clients to a nice steak dinner in the Woodlands to make up for this horse crap. FYI sun sets dead in your face so plan accordingly if you come here after 5pm. Also this venues machines are very outdated compared to many other Top Golf locations. read more

I was traveling for work and wanted to stop by and hit some balls. The website said no wait but when I went in I was told it was a half hour then in the next sentence the employee told me an hour wait. I didn't have the time to wait an hour so I left. I usually try to find something constructive and positive to say about every experience but this has been the worst experience at Top Golf. My colleagues and I went there for team building and we were highly disappointed. The venue was dirty, there was gum in the turf, and trash in the nets. The customer service wasn't any better either. My colleague ordered some wings and she had hair in her food. Instead of accommodating her for their error, they still charged her for the wings and the server had a nasty attitude about it. Lastly, the restroom was worse than a port-a-potty. Someone defecated in the stall and left it on the floor. There was paper towels and trash left on the floors, the trash was overflowing and they were out of toilet paper. Needless to say, I do not recommend this Top Golf location and I will never be returning. read more

We have several birthdays in November so around Thanksgiving time we usually all go out to eat and celebrate the Birthdays (two of my adult kids , my mom and my mother in law) We decided to go to Top Golf this year for a large family outing. This place is awful. I have been to other locations and had no problems. I told my server I am paying for the two bays which included 12 players. I also told him everyone is paying for their own food. Well that was a disaster. They were just bringing orders out and sitting them on the table instead of giving people their orders in their hand. They started asking for cards to go on the tab but the tabs were all mixed up (no organization). When it was time for me to pay I went over the bill with the server to make sure everything was correct. My bill totaled well over 400 with a tip included over 500.00. Well when I got home and looked at the receipt there was at least 45.00 of things on my bill that I did not purchase. When comparing receipts with my sister some things she ordered like drinks (mind you I don't Drink) and extra food that was on my receipt. The big problem is she paid for her drinks as well. Therefore my party was charged twice. Had my sister not paid for her items she would have just zelled me the money but that was not the case. I called to dispute the charges and received an email the next day stating there was nothing they could do because I signed for it. Well its the principle for me. If a customer has spent over 500 dollars at your business and they are telling you 45.00 was placed on their tab and they did not order these items (again and I don't drink alcohol) you cant do a courtesy waiver. I was told and laughed at that their was nothing they could do and they suggested I call my bank. I have never ever experienced this at any other Top Golf Location. This office Manager (Kirby) said we are not obligated to give you anything which means they can courtesy waive if they wanted to. I can tell you I WILL NOT BE GOING TO THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN. The service was terrible and the office staff is absolutely awful rude and unprofessional. I do not ask for much and I am not an obnoxious customer. I am a person who will pay for whatever is purchased but if I did not purchase I will have a problem with it. Right is right and wrong is wrong. The office manager didn't even offer an apology or to fix it by even offering a courtesy meal of 45.00 dollars a coupon or anything. There business sucks and I will not be back. read more

I booked a 3pm bay time on Memorial Day. Upon arrival we were checked in and told to wait for a text. They weren't as busy as I anticipated them to be so I thought we'd have our bay ready right at 3. It took a bit longer than that but not too much of a big deal. We were given a bay on the 3rd level and greeted by a staff member upon arrival. She helped us get signed in and took our orders. This review is for Topgolf's bar specifically. I have nothing bad to say about the Topgolf experience. It's unique. It's a lot of fun. Though it can get pretty pricey. After "topgolfing," we hit up the bar for some food and drinks. We split the brisket grilled cheese which comes with fries or tots. We went with the tots. The food was a lot better than expected. It's not your typical mediocre chain food. The grilled cheese was grilled just right and the brisket added some flavor. There was a nice dipping sauce. The tots were on point. We also had a golf bag drink which was pretty creative. It's a fishbowl, so think a mix of liquor and sweet juices, served in a golf bag-shaped plastic glass with golf club-shaped straws. It also lights up! And you can take the glass home with you. I have to take a star off for the service. It was some of the worst I've received in some time. We had a group of eight people or so. One of my tablemates had to wait 20 minutes or so for his beer because the waitress forgot. Overall, she was lackadaisical and didn't seem like she was interested in serving us at all. It's also a bummer that the bar closes earlier than 2 AM on the weekend. For a place like Topgolf, I didn't expect that their bar would close at midnight. Compared to the other Topgolf off of I-10, this one seems less crowded thought it can be a bit of a hike for us inner loopers. read more

This is a cool place to go to golf, and I enjoyed my time there even though it was my first time golfing. Anybody can play and there are a number of interactive games, including "practice" for novices like me. I attended a birthday party here, and the food was just so-so. The host bought unlimited fajitas, which were passable, but the tortillas were the cardboard-tasting variety that had to come from a bag...not fresh at all. And, the chips seemed low-quality bagged type. These are two items that the business could inexpensively improve. The party included all you could drink beer and wine. Yup, I did the Guinness! We have been to this top golf multiple times and never an issue. On July 3rd, the wheels fell off. 5 of us arrived a little after 8pm. We sat down at our spot and set up for some golf. We started playing and after about :10-:15 minutes our waitress stopped by. The ladies ordered 3 Margs-two the same and a skinny. I went through multiple beer orders only to be told they were out. Plus no high noons or anything really. I settled on a Corona extra. Out son settled on a craft beer she had to get upstairs, and waters for all. 30 minutes later the Margs showed up-all the same. :45 minutes later my beer showed up-wrong beer so sent back. After an hour, literally, my son's beer showed up. Having ask for waters, after my wrong order, the ladies went to bar and ordered waters. After my beer, I took a chance and ended up ordering a coors light since they were out of Corona extra and anything else I ask for. The waitress brought Miller lite and didn't seem to even notice. Every order was messed up, but not having anything and taking an hour to get a round of drinks is extremely poor management. Forty-five minutes to an hour for one round of drinks is totally unacceptable. I get places have one offs, but this night we even wondered if we were on how screwed up can it be TV. Needless to say, we played out our 90 minutes and moved on. I peg these issues squarely on management for poor planning of items available, not training staff correctly-May want to start out with, "I'm sorry, but we only have.....", be prompt and staff needs to be taught to notice if an order is correct or not before it goes out. read more

We had a great time at top golf today! We waiting maybe 15-20 minutes for a bay and out waitress Kenze (I hope I got that right) greeted us right away. She stayed on top of drinks, food, and was always checking on us to make sure we were good. My husband and I have been to the topgolf in spring several times. We like to sit at the bar and get brunch on Sunday afternoons. They have lots of tv"s in their bar area which makes it easy to watch all the afternoon games. We usually split the ahi tuna avocado toast and the carrot cake waffles. Both dishes are tasty and satisfying without being too heavy. After brunch we get a bay and drive golf balls for an hour. Love this place! read more

Right when the drinks came, I received a text that our bay was ready. I'll know for next time, you can just walk straight out to the bay. You don't have to go back up to the front! We were on the third floor this time. My nephew was so happy about that! Right when we got to our bay, they brought us the dip we ordered downstairs. Then we also ordered a couple more appetizers! The buffalo dip was delicious. I do not like onions, so I didn't try the guacamole, but the hot sauce was awesome! I didn't try the buffalo wings, but my husband said they were great! The cheese dip was very good! It was a white queso with chips. It was all good! We had a blast golfing together! We took turns and made a competition out of it! We finally got smart and asked for kid clubs for my 6 year old nephew. My husband and his brother brought their own, so they were crushing it! Visited today from 1-3pm and this was by far the worst experience I had anywhere during "Covid". We arrived at Top Golf with 6 adults and 3 children. As soon as we checked into our bay, the attendant let us know that no more than 6 people could be in a bay at any given time. We let them know that 1 child and 2 adults were not playing and they informed us we still had to have less than 6 people in the bay. We asked if this was because of COVID as we were outside and they had plastic partitions between each bay so "Covid" couldn't some how float around from bay to bay. They said, "yes". Although we were a bit annoyed, we followed the rules, because business are "trying to do their best" right... well... About 20min into us playing and being separated, I noticed a bay 2 down from us with 7 adults and 2 children. I asked the manager if our party could come back because apparently they were now okay with more than 6 in a bay (children under 2 are an exception), he politely denied me so I asked why was that bay allowed to have a large party. He proceeded to count the people and left to tell them the party rule. Needless to say, the other party wasn't happy and circumvented the rule by 1 person simply standing behind a couch at the bay... because apparently Covid doesn't cross couches into the golf bays. About 10 more minutes passed by and the bay right next to us had 7 people. Again, no one told them anything so at this point I was beyond upset, feeling our party was singled out. I politely called the manager over and told him, "Look I'm not trying to make your job hard, but the bay next two us also has more than 6 people and the other party still has everyone with one person standing on the other side of the bay couch". He again, denied me and proceeded to tell the bay next to us the 6 party rule, which they argued with but also abided by. The manager also went to the other bay and the person behind the couch eventually left somewhere else. I understand that management or the waitstaff may see the parties come together after the initial sitting and not initially catch the headcount, however, when I can catch it after seeing waitstaff take orders, it's not that hard. Needless to say, we did feel singled out and when I let management know about the other parties, they were hesitant to say something to the guest, but quick to point it out to us. Why, I'm not sure, but I definitely felt discriminated against. The worst part was, after we decided to not renew our time, we proceeded to leave and several of the bays had people standing "behind the couch" with tables pulled up and this seemed to be okay, but my family was made to separate to another area. Also once we started out to the main entrance, the bar and restaurant areas were packed, with no social distancing, because I guess again, Covid doesn't exist in a crowed bar, but it does in open air golf bays. The more I thought about it, Top Golf is implementing the rule in the bays versus their bars/restaurant because they want you to pay for multiple bays versus everyone being in one. Way to try and capitalize on a pandemic to boost revenue. It's evident to anyone what they are trying to do. @Hugh D. I was not complaining about the COVID protocol, I was complaining we were singled out and other bays were not being forced to break up their parties until we said something. Even then they were allowed to circumvent the rules. The bay rule also makes no sense when your bar and restaurant is packed. If it is in regards to the tee line, we let our host know that 2 of the women were pregnant and would not be playing as well as 1 child who was too small to play. Because the website, and ONLY WAY TO RESERVE A "BAY" (space for 6 players), had crashed. I finally got someone to pick up my call, only to learn they couldn't possibly take a reservation over the phone, but that I would probably have no wait for 3 PM. HA!!! We waited about One (1) Hour!! Bellying up to the bar while waiting We had a couple of beers, couple of cokes, and bottle of wine for about $60.00 including tip. The text you to close your tab, and I like this "warning" that your about to get a bay. Then they send a second text advising you have 5 minutes to appear in the bay (317 was ours). Then, at the bay we sat around waiting and wondering; What's next? Finally waved someone down and they got us all situated. Drink orders soon appeared and the remainder of our $250.00 for three hours (including two chips and queso, and bottle of Merlot) went very smoothly! The Three (3) month membership deal is DEFINATLY worth it! I strongly suggest just trying it out for an hour with your group, then, if they like it, return with this deeply discounted offer. read more

I recently visited Top Golf in Spring for the first time with family and friends to celebrate my cousin's birthday. While we were having a great time, enjoying the festivities, and celebrating during the games, my experience took a disappointing turn when one of the managers, his name was either Bryan or Ryan, approached me in a very rude and loud tone and asked if I was okay. This interaction was made after I felt comfortable enough to celebrate and cheer for a point I had made while golfing. This made me feel singled out and made me feel as if I couldn't cheer or celebrate my wins. Even though the atmosphere was loud and lively as it is in an entertainment establishment, with everyone else enjoying themselves just as much. Shortly after, the manager proceeded to walk past us repeatedly making my friends and family feel uncomfortable and as if we needed to be quiet and not enjoy the little time we had left. What started as a fun and exciting celebration ended with me feeling like I couldn't fully enjoy the moment. I understand the importance of maintaining order, but the approach felt unnecessary and dampened the experience. Unfortunately, this left a negative impression of what could have been an amazing first visit. I hope the management considers how to handle situations like this more tactfully in the future. read more

Here's an update! As of 4/2023 I finally received compensation from the class action lawsuit that was filed and WON against TOPGOLF SPRING, TX location and was so happy that I finally received "closure" from this experience. It was a 5yr fight to get paid for the earnings that we deserved. As a bay host, we knew our tips were inaccurate. The concept of "Topgolf" is great, but unfortunately it's that piss poor racist LEADERSHIP in that office that needs to be removed, and replaced with positive spirits that could take this location to the next level. Spent a few hours at TopGolf this afternoon. The bay was $40/hour. We split it amongst a group of 5 people, so it ended up being about $8 +tax. The appetizers and food were delicious. It's a bit pricy, but what else would you expect while you're golfing!? Great selection of beers, drinks, and games to watch while March Madness was on! Went for my first time Saturday, April 29, 2022. We had a group combined of golfers, non golfers & kids. We were all entertained. The food was good & prices were decent. But what was most impressive was the staff. We ended up having a gender reveal and after seeing all the birthday celebrations, I asked if they did the same for gender reveals. Not only did they have the signage for it but they went above and beyond with the announcement. I was so thrilled with how the staff handled the announcement. Worst experience ever at a TopGolf. Stayed there 4 hours with 12 people spent over $800 and soon as your time up they treat you like garbage. Claiming they have to "prepare the bays" when there were numerous open bars left on a Tuesday night. We dispensed extra balls before our time was up so our 3 year Olds could hit some extra balls while we paid our tab and finished our drinks. Our time was up by not even minutes. The 2 employees came over and kicked the balls over right in front of us and the kids while the kids were hitting. I guess it's all about the $$$ and soon as our money ran out we were not a customer.
