This is my 2nd time coming to TopGolf. I'd love to give this place a 5 star review. The first time coming here was for a corporate event so this was the first time coming here not as a corporate group. Before coming, I reserved a bay on their website. It's pretty misleading cause the reservation fee on the website does not include any actual playtime. The reservation let's you "skip the line" when you get there. I confirmed my 3pm reservation time through text, got some drinks at the bar and our bay was ready by 3:08PM. Great! When we got to our bay there was another group of 5+ people who were also told the same bay number. It was pretty awkward standing around for 10+ minutes while they tried to get everything sorted. We spent the time we could have been playing wondering if we were going to have to move, or if the other group was going to be assigned another bay. We were told by our server that he was going to figure out what he could do for us for the trouble, but nothing was ever offered. When we finally signed in to play I was pretty surprised to see that the 1 hour of playtime was $40, I thought I had paid for it ahead of time with my $50 charge from their website. Another server came over and explained that the reservation fee has nothing to do with the payment for time at the bay. He added that people bring this up all the time and the reservations constantly cause confusion. He apologized with a "don't shoot the messenger" comment. We played for an hour, food and drinks were fine. But when we brought up the confusion again to our server we were offered a snarky comment. It's frustrating because the place is fun. Food is decent, and drinks are great. But the disorganization was frustrating and the lack of any customer service in light of all the issues leaves me questioning if I'll go back. read more

Went here for a Flyers meet and greet. Had a wonderful time. The food especially was better than I would have expected for a driving range. Delicious apps, BBQ & desserts. Nice bar on the main level with a service bar on the lower. The service was the most notable, never wanted for anything. As soon as your glass was empty they were on it with a speedy delivery of a refill. Plates cleared in a timely manner. Staff very attentive. The golf stations are climate controlled so, you can tee off in any weather. Several game options available (cricket type) or you can just drive the ball. If that's not your thing or you have the kids with you there is a separate game room with pool, shuffle board, pinball, etc. Would definitely recommend to my golf buddies. read more

2 of my daughters went for half price Tuesday. They had a great time until my daughter who recently became of legal drinking age became wasted and the server kept serving her drinks when she could clearly barely walk and my younger daughter had asked them to stop. My husband is on his way to get the oldest because our youngest still has a graduated license and can't drive with someone drunk in the car. So thank you so much for not listening to a customer saying not to serve someone and to your staff for over serving someone and getting them so shit faced wasted that she can hardly walk and is now puking in your parking lot. We visited Topgolf last night and overall had a great time! It was a Saturday night, so it was very busy. The venue is really beautiful and modern. We couldn't reserve in advance (all reservations were full the day before) so were told there was a 1 hour 45 minute wait. There were 4 of us and we headed to the bar. All staff we encountered were great, but the service was incredibly slow. It took 20+ minutes for 4 drinks. For such a large venue, it seemed like they only had one main bar to serve everyone, causing delays. We got one part of our food order before our bay was ready. The rest got sent to our bay. The good thing is, our wait time for a bay was closer to 45/50 minutes. The golf aspect was very fun- in our foursome we had a very regular golf player, an infrequent player, and two that don't play at all and everyone enjoyed. It was nice to be able to get points even if you weren't a skilled golfer. Our waitress in the bay was, again, incredibly nice but very, very slow drink service. The food was all good! Our orders ranged from bar food to a salad and all were tasty. The bays are heated so even though it was cold outside it was warm in our area. Make sure you realize the price before attending. The bay rental is $50/hour and each player needs a membership for an additional $5 per person if it is their first time (this was kind of a surprise charge we felt). We played for 2 hours, plus food and beverage, so it's not a cheap date! Would definitely recommend for something different to do once in a while. read more

I came to Topgolf after dinner for some drinks and fun games with friends on a Friday night, 1/17. All nine of us were served by bartender Danielle (main floor) who did not provide friendly customer service. She was impolite, did not make any beer suggestions, and you can tell she was annoyed the minute she asked for our IDs. She is a reflection of the company. This is not the kind of employee that should be working here who makes customers feel unwelcomed and who deter business elsewhere. I hope Topgolf can take this feedback to ensure they are teaching their employees to provide the best customer service! read more

Rip Off! Bang you for a $50.00 reservation fee just to skip the line. Honestly not knowing at all how this whole thing worked. Shame on them borderline scam to me. So I call to cancel and wait on hold for over 15mins to be transferred 3 times and to talk to 3 different people and have to explain all over again. What amazes me is I thought I was paying for the hour in advance so I could let my older teenage kids do their thing but it wasn't the case spoke to the manager and he basically told me go pound sand after someone named Gina in the Dallas Texas office said they would issue a refund for me since I made a mistake. I will do my very best to tell as many people as I know about this scam and educate folks to read the fine print. I seriously saw that they wanted $210 for a 8pm reservation tomorrow 12/27 that's outrageous as a business owner I find this to be a tad unethical and bad business behavior. read more

Came to top golf for a few drinks with a friend and couldn't help ourselves but be bothered by the not so busy "bartender" not only did she curse 5-6 times also using the word f***. She practices her flip cup skills, snap chat selfies and answers FaceTime calls. She didn't greet us once whether she was just working the service bar it's called customer service, i have been in the restaurant industry for 10 years whether is was serving, bartending and becoming a General Manager her work behavior was a disgrace. My wife and I had our first date here 2 years ago today, 2 nights ago we got married and had our wedding reception at this location. The staff was AMAZING 2 years ago and we're even more AMAZING 2 nights ago. Soooo much fun!! Didn't know what to expect but it turned out to be such a great time! Food tasted good, but the service was really top notch. Joined the waitlist before arrival so our bay was ready when we got there. Originally had the top floor (some of us in the group are petrified of heights), but the manager was so accommodating and changed us to the first floor. Our server Branden was excellent, friendly and always checking on us to see if we needed anything. Shuffleboard, foosball and billiards were alot of fun to do after golf too. We reserved 2 bays for a fun IWP team building event. Everyone had a great time. I have been to this and other Top Golf locations about 7 times in the past. I noticed significant improvement on the heating system. (We went on a cold and windy day and were very pleasantly surprised). The food was great. There are new golf games that are a lot of fun to try. Our hostess Makenzie was friendly, helpful and could not do enough for us. We will be back. read more

Had the worst service I've ever had today. The waitstaff are usually friendly and fun. The woman we had to day was HORRIBLE. Took 20 minutes into our time to order cocktails and food. Our initial order was prepared incorrectly so we sent it back. The correct order came with about 10 minutes left on the clock. No plates. napkins or silverware. When we opted out of more time, the server got nasty and told us that "went the times up, the times up". I asked if she could give us an extra 15 minutes considering we just got our food she just walked away. Still no silverware, plates or napkins. We ended up eating with our hands and using tissues to wipe them off. I really like TopGolf and used to go often pre-COVID. Not too excited to go back anytime soon. read more

I wish there was a zero stars because thats exactly what i would have given the place. For my sons 21st birthday I reserved 2 bays for 2 hours at the rate of $420. Way over priced for what you get. The reason for my review is that I flew in my daughter and her fiance from South Carolina, both 28 years old. The management had the nerve to say their S.C. state issued drivers licenses where fake and would not accept them as valid ids to drink alcohol. They told me they didn't have the holograms, when they clearly and when I pointed out that they did they threatened to kick my whole party of 12 out. The management there at the Mt.Laurel Top golf was terrible. The total for the night plus tip was $510 for 2 misery hour. That place will never ever get another dollar from. They totally suck and I wish I had taken my money somewhere else. read more

Today was our 1st of many visits to Topgolf. Service was great. Bays were very warm even though it was windy and cool outside. You can bring your own clubs or use theirs. Great menu and drinks. Definitely would recommend to anyone regardless of skill level. read more

As with soo many other reviews, the star rating reflects the pricing, not the service. We went on Father's Day and was told we'd have a 2-2.5 hour wait. It ended up only being an hour, and for being such a busy day, we were totally fine with that. We played pool (free) while we waited and had a drink each and two apps while we waited. (Very much the opposite of free!!) :-D We spent over $100 on food, drinks and tip before we ever got to a bay. Drinks and apps are VERY expensive. Their grilled wings, which really are very good, are $2 each. We paid $12 and each got ONE wing. :-/ Deanna was our server while we waited and she was really good. Very friendly, and attentive. Victoria was our server while we played and she was AMAZING! And we could totally see how she was furthering and "pushing" sales, but she did it in such a sweet and easy way, never making us feel pressured. She's exactly what Top Golf wants in a server! We had a terrific time, but spent over $400 while there, between waiting for our bay, eating and drinking during 2.25 hours of play...we thought it was OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive. (And yes, I know about the promotions....none of which were available on Father's Day. We bought $100 in gift cards to get the $20 bonus, only to find that we couldn't use it on Father's Day...and that we can only use $10 in bonus in any given transaction. Seriously, would giving us $20 off our $400 bill affect them so much!?!?) We got five apps throughout our time in the bay, and each had a few drinks. So, while we put on Facebook that we were celebrating Father's Day there, when people have asked me how it was, I've said we had a great time but told them what we spent and every single person I've talked to, their eyes have bugged out! Not something to do frequently. But they are booked out the wazoo, so I don't expect any changes in pricing of the venue or drinks/food. It's not fairly priced, but supply and demand will rule....the almighty dollar is what's important to business. read more

Extremely disappointed. Tried to get two bays next to each other. The only way to do that is to do a flex package where they charge you over double to triple what a typical bay would be. That's disgusting. Literally, over $500 for two bays where otherwise it's $55/hr per Bay during PEAK hours. Other times, it's not even as high as $55/hr. So the over $500 is a total joke. read more

It was a really cold night but it was a fun time. I like the option of extending the time in different intervals. I noticed another review talked about the balls not registering and I ran into that issue as well so hopefully that works out later. Definitely had a good time and would come again maybe when it's warmer. Side note: was informed once we asked for our check that the discount only applied to Military when in fact the website says otherwise(we were with a Leo). "Right away" has ended up being 5 days since I received a reply to my email. Here is the email I sent to Colin: I was told to contact you after leaving a review on Yelp about my experience last Saturday 3/16 at Top Golf this past weekend. The review was a good summary of my experience. I'd like to clarify that I really enjoyed the golfing and the food/beverage service in the bay itself but my experience in the restaurant and bar area was incredibly negative. I felt attacked and lied to. After the bartender took my ID she just walked away without saying anything, she came back a few minutes later and said she is rejecting it. I asked where she went and she said she's, "required to inspect all non-PA and NJ ID cards. I asked to speak with a manager. The manager came over, she told me to wait in the lobby and took my ID downstairs to "examine it." She came back after at least 20 minutes of waiting, gave me the ID and said "you're all set." I thought this meant I'm good to go and buy a drink but at the moment I tried approaching the bar she came back and said, "No, I said you're set but we are still refusing service." I asked why and she said, "They can refuse service to anyone they'd like without a reason." I asked again for a reason and she said, "It just doesn't match in the book." Then I said "your book is wrong" and walked away. The book is wrong because I am a 23 year old Ohio native and have never had my ID rejected in my lifetime. After this my friends and I got a table away from the bar and I used the ID without any issues. Following that, upon getting the golf bay, I used the ID without any issues as well. I felt lied to because the other two waitresses had no hesitation even though this ID was under the bartenders "designation" to get further inspection because it is an Ohio ID. I did not like having to wait for 30 minutes only to be shut out without explanation. I did not like making my friends wait on me, who I am only seeing for one day while I stop by in Philly. I did not like the feeling of being lied to. I want to thank the waitress in the Bay Area for being great and kind, but an overall very negative experience for me. read more

Golfing was fun! Make sure to make a reservation if you come on a fri/sat night. The service was sloooow... took a long time to get our food and drinks. My friends and I drove an hour to this establishment. We got there with high hopes as we've had positive experiences at the Edison location. Our drinks came out watered down as they were sitting at the bar for more than 20 minutes . We ordered food and the nachos came out with 7 chips on the plate for $10. I kid you not, 7 chips. The plate looked as though it was leftover from someone else's table and dropped on ours. I would never recommend someone to go to this establishment. Service was slow and we felt as though we were a nuisance to our own server. Myself and my party are all servers as well and when I tell you I've gotten better service in a drive thru I'm not lying. I'd rate this between 3 and 4 stars. It's an interesting concept and I have few complaints. I think most people will have fun. We were a group of five and spent about two hours there. I didn't find the prices that bad but I can see how things could get out of control easily with a bar tab. Overall- Golf is golf and this is a brand new facility which looks good . Balls are tracked and scored electronically by the system which allows for a few different games to be played which can make it pretty fun. The food and drink selection was pretty good. No complaints about service. But the food was just ok. I felt a lot of the items didn't have a lot of flavor. Looked good with nice presentation but... Cheese fries were ok. Cheese solidified quickly. Chicken quesadillas weren't bad. Wings were decent sized but the sauces were a little underwhelming compared to say a Buffalo Wild Wings. Chips and guacamole were decent but I thought the salsa was a bit bland. The fill your own donuts was fun but I felt the sundae's chocolate syrup didn't have much flavor. We selected a weekday and used a promo to get 1/2 price on the bay rental. Total came to $200 with tip for the items above plus 4 fountain drinks and in Moscow Mule. I thought it was a good time and I think for first timers this would be a fun time but if you go a lot I can see it getting expensive. read more

If i could give this establishment zero stars, I would. We called ahead of time since we had a long drive ahead of us, & they said no reservations were needed. Fast forward to later on that day, & we arrive and they say they are fully booked for the night. Not only did they not care we drove all this way thinking we didn't need a reservation, but they were rude about it and didn't seem to care that many of us were disappointed. Love TopGolf in general, but just had a silly experience with this location. In South Jersey for Thanksgiving, and tried to reserve a spot online for myself and 5 newbies. I saw only VIP reservations for the rest of the day. I called to see if that was accurate and, as a walk-in, what the current state of affairs was. The hostess told me she could only give wait times in-person. (I can only assume this is a ploy to get people there, waiting, drinking, before they play. Smart 'business move' but not so good when people are driving 40 minutes to spend a few hundred at your place and just want you to help them out a little bit.) So I asked her how many people were waiting, and she told me 30. "So...", I said, "What wait time did you give to the last person that walked in?" :) (I thought that was playful, she didn't.) "As I said, sir, we can only give that information in person." I told her I was 40 minutes away. I wasn't going to drive there just to make 5 other people wait 1, or 5 hours before their first experience at TopGolf. As such, I asked one more time, "I understand your policy, and all I'm asking is what you told the last person that walked in the door. Help me out here." She went back to the company line of only giving the information in person, word for word. NOW, had she told me, I could have made and informed decision, set expectations with the group, and maybe we go up there, hang out, eat dinner, drink, then play, knowing -roughly- how long we may be waiting, and spend a LOT. But I wasn't going to drive 40 minutes with 5 others in tow just to find out. Absurd. SO, they 1) took somebody who is a huge fan of TopGolf, and soured me on them, especially this location, 2) soured 5 people who've never been there and were going for their first time, before they even got the chance to experience it. 3) Eliminated the chance of me showing up tonight and spending hundreds of dollars. They should rethink their stance on providing wait times over the phone, bc they certainly lost my business this weekend. read more

I've been to a few Topgolf locations and enjoyed their games and food/drinks. This new location has some bugs to work on. Service was great and food/drinks were good. However gameplay was not working correctly. Balls weren't registering and points weren't being scored. And yes I KNOW the process and delays that might occur having played many times. These points just never showed up. But the ball count did! It delayed our competition and we lost playtime cause of it. It's like playing broken games on the boardwalk. Lame!!! read more

I had to wait for 45 minutes until the bay was ready, when it was ready I had gone inside but they made me throw out my $5 drink. When I went to the desk they told me I needed to be 21+ to play. We tried to go a couple months ago on a beautiful Saturday. I think everyone in town had cabin fever because the wait was 3 hours. We bailed and tried again this weekend. Remembering the wait time, we paid $50 for a bay reservation at 12:30pm on Saturday. We walked in to no wait and available bays. Since the reservation fee is essentially to push you to the top of the waitlist and does not get applied to your bay fees or food/beverage, we essentially paid $50 for nothing. Also, I think it's a tad sneaky to add the bay fees to our food and beverage tab, as we likely over-tipped on gratuity since we tipped on our total bill rather than just the food/drinks/service we received. We still had a great time and really enjoyed the food and beverages and will be back. We may just take our chances instead of making a reservation in the future and will scrutinize our bill more closely. read more

As part of my husband's birthday gift, I signed us up for a family golf lesson at TopGolf in Mount Laurel, NJ. We had pro, Tyler Coskery, and he was awesome! I can't say enough good things about the experience he created. Even in the heat, he took his time providing general instruction and then working with each of us individually. Also, he was so encouraging. He was clearly great at golf as he demonstrated strokes, but he was patient and broke each instruction down so it was clear for me, a true golf beginner, and he provided more advanced instruction for my husband and son who are more experienced golfers; making him a great teacher as well. He was attentive in ensuring we got our water and appetizers, and he was funny. He created an atmosphere that made it a great way to learn, and we had so much fun doing it. I would recommend him unequivocally. TopGolf may be a chain, but I think he is a rare gem who creates a differentiator for this location. read more

My family got together for MDW and decided to celebrate with some Top Golf. The venue is really nice, very sleek, an overall enjoyable atmosphere. The bays are spaced out enough that you feel like you're in your own nice section. We reserved a bay and it worked out really well with the timing. I think the wait would be way too long without a reservation. The golfing experience was really fun. That's where all the stars come from. It's a really good event to just have some family fun. That being said, the food was eh, drinks were super light pours, and the prices are way too high. We went on a Friday, one of the more expensive days in the week. But still. We paid a lot for a great time, but it would've been 5 stars if the drinks, food, and service were up to par. Because the service was kind of slow we had to extend our time 15 minutes to make sure we got our dessert...what a rip off. The 15 minutes was the same price as 1 hour of play. Would definitely go back for the experience but would maybe try a different location. read more

I'm giving 2 stars for the simple fact that the employees was the issue. It was my 2nd time there and planned on goin back, until the end of the night. After walking out the door I got a notification from my credit card company for fraudulent activity. Did some digging and found out my server stole my info and gained access into my account. Now mind you it wasn't flagged once, but twice, same person, same IP address, same everything. I know no one from jersey, never handed my card over to anyone previously, and the card wasn't even a month old. So if they r bold enough to do that practically right in front of me, I can only imagine anyone who's drunk or unaware. Management did absolutely nothing, but play the blame game, as if I'm going to go through all of this, and make it up. Come on!! Either way I let my credit card company deal with it, they did, it only took a long time since topgolf tried to fight it. All they did was delay everything to make the situation even more unbearable and I went out of my way to contact them. Yet just the false allegations against me, then complete radio silence.
