Not trying to be a negative Nancy but I've been there multiple times and it feels like they just hire anyone, every time I've been I have experienced a rude employee, they're just rude for no reason. read more

My first time ever at a Top Golf was a few months ago and I had a great time! We got there and were given a bay right away. Friendly server came over and took our order. We got a few beers and appetizers which were pretty good. I went in with absolutely zero experience with golf and ended up winning most rounds. Video tutorials on the screen are helpful. If the place is busy, you can hang out at one of the bars while you wait for a bay to become available. Overall it was a great experience & I can't wait to go back! read more

I am writing to express serious concerns about the treatment my group received during a recent special-needs event at your location. We are a group from the City of Montebello, and several of our attendees are autistic individuals. Despite spending over $1,000, we were ignored for most of the evening, and the manager's behavior toward us was unprofessional, dismissive, and appeared discriminatory. Our group, which is predominantly Mexican, felt unwelcome and disrespected. The manager made no effort to assist or support our participants, and the overall experience was extremely disappointing--especially given that this was a family-oriented event meant to support special-needs individuals. Additionally, the event host reached out to management afterward and never received a response, which only reinforces our concerns. We expect acknowledgment of this issue, an explanation of how this situation will be addressed, and assurance that actions will be taken to prevent similar treatment of families or special-needs groups in the future. read more

I loved the games and service! It's just a pricey hobby to have on the weekends if it's necessary to stay long periods of times to practice.

What a great time we had celebrating my grandsons 10th birthday! Summer was our hostess and she didn't leave us wanting anything! The place is amazing! The food delicious! Never thought a burger slider could taste so good from a restaurant, compared to home! It was a hit day but the breeze was so refreshing! Everything is so clean and the ambience so appealing that I want to go back despite me not golfing. read more

Yesterday, my husband and I came in with our grandchildren to do some hitting! My husband grabbed a HUGE driver and took a hit! He absolutely DESTROYED the ball over the net. Best experience we have had in a long time! I was very surprised with my husband Keith's ability to hit the ball over the net at 63 years old. Topgolf will always be our number one place to go to for a good time! read more

Fun place to hang out, eat some tasty food, and practice your swing if you so desire. The place has plenty of places to lounge and the the outside seating options are great. Better to group up to save a bit on the prices in each bay. Overall, worth a try to check out. Plenty of parking, too. read more

We were so excited to go to Topgolf for the first time. Great location. But we were so disappointed in our actual play time. They tell you to arrive 15 minutes early so they can set you up in your "bay" Our reservation was for 8:30pm We got there 20 minutes early but our bay was not ready so we waited at the bar. 10 minutes later still nothing. Went back down to the front desk and the girl could no longer find my reservation. Luckily, a text came in our bay was ready. So we make our way to our station only to find it was not ready but people were still sitting and hanging out. We waited another 20 minutes. By the time we actually started playing, it was already 9:05pm but that didn't matter to your time. The timer still clocked us in at 8:30 and we played only played until 10:30 instead of 11pm. We did ask to speak to a manager and at first they said there was nothing they could do. All we wanted was to get another half hour since that's what we lost while waiting. After insisting to speak to a manager, he finally came over and he did comp our nachos and half an hour of play time, which I think was like $30. We asked if we could play longer and were told no because other people were waiting. We sat at the bar for another half hour and no one else was assigned that bay. Now for that $26 boozy golf bag drink..... I'm sorry but that was all cherry lime-aid. Total waste of money, don't bother ordering it. $170 to "play" for 2 hours.... Just another expensive family outing. Check for specials. Obviously cheaper during the week, but it's about $50-$70 an hour to golf. I must say, we did have fun but they need to fix some things read more

Topgolf is a great way to get introduced to golf, its a fun way of learning the game for beginners like me. Had a blast golfing, eating and drinking with friends. Staffs were all welcoming and very accommodating. The place is huge with a great view of the course, even better at night when everything is lit up. read more

Great new location. Beats going to Onatario Top Golf or El Segundo. In the middle of Los Angeles and San Gabriel Valley. Prices for 1 hour play $65x I gotta come to the early bird deals during the week. 3 floors, plenty of bar areas to sit and televisions. Customer service was great during my visits. The attendants will constantly ask if your okay.. Top food selections, flat bread bacon and ranch pizza and nachos with steak.. I wasn't a fan of the guacamole with chips. Be prepared to spend some dollas this place will add up with a big group. read more

Tried out TopGolf Montebello for the first time last night. Food was fine. The Golfing was very fun. TV in your stall to watch the Dodger game was nice. Ambiance was cool. One thing really bothered me though. When it came time to get our drink order in I ordered a double shot of liquor. At that time the server was cool enough to suggest I order two single shots instead of the double in one glass. The reason being because when you order a double the bartenders are instructed to not pour a full second shot into your glass. They pour more like 1 3/4. Just watch out when ordering drinks. If I'm ordering 20 bucks for a shot I expect a full pour. Felt that was pretty messed up. read more

This place is definitely cool don't get me wrong. But if you want to do your drinking here, I suggest ordering beer because the mixed drinks are wayyyyy too sweet and expensive. Food is food. Was ok. Also apparently men's restroom is muggy and smelly and dirty according to my bf. read more

The night shift was completely rude. One of the workers in the red shirt was being a complete jerk. He had glasses and was Asian I believe not sure. Not even kidding when we left we told him "have a good night boss" because he was standing right behind us and he ignored us and gave us a dirty look. Also we ordered a good amount of food and waited over 40 mins for it and it still wasn't brought out and when we asked they said they didn't write anything down, so when we ordered again we waited another really long time and we were missing one item from our order and they gave us a completely different sandwich than what we asked for. And we ordered 5 waters in the beginning and they didn't bring it out to us until our first hour and a half there. This is the 3rd time I have a bad experience at this top golf. If you want horrible service and attitude from workers this is the spot to come to! Very unprofessional people. Evening/ night shift specifically read more

My husband and I live in Ontario and have been to the Ontario Top Golf multiple times and had only positive experiences. Since the opening of the Montebello Top golf, we have met up friends who live in L.A at this location 3 times. All 3 times we would check in and were given tables at the far end. On our third visit we requested a table closer to the middle and were told they are to be given to upcoming bookings. There were MULTIPLE tables empty and we came with a prior booking as well. We never had this problem at the Ontario location so I don't quite understand how we can't be given one of the empty tables. We were not offered an explanation for why we couldn't be seated at an available table. We were not aware of any option to choose a specific table or floor by calling ahead or online, as this information was not communicated to us. The girl at the front just said they are for other costumers. While I do not want to make assumptions about race or other factors, the repeated issue of being placed at the end tables without a clear reason has been concerning. Unfortunately, these experiences at Montebello Topgolf have left my friends and me reluctant to visit any Topgolf locations in the future. read more

STAY AWAY First and last time I will ever go to a top golf! Points: -Poor Management -Trash customer service -Expensive food / drinks -Low Tee, no driver tee allowed because they think you're going to hit over 500 yards. Pretty much a wood / iron tee Decided to walk in on a Saturday with family and friends due to online reservations only allowing a maximum of 2 hours without being able to extend. There were only 2 people in the front desk with a line out the door with about 9 stalls closed. When we got to the front we asked for 3 hrs of playtime. The lady said no problem, but its going to be an hour wait, which we didn't have problem with because there was a bar. I didn't understand the hour wait because just on the 1st floor, there were at least 15 bays open, but we still waited. We got a message that our bay was ready and we went. There were people already sitting in our bay because they said someone else moved them there. They didn't leave for 15 mins and already started our timer. We lost 15 mins and didn't get compensated. We started playing and ordered some food and drinks, thinking that we would be sitting here for 3 hours, that wasn't the case. After our 59 min timer (they said, if we reserved for 3 hours, it automictically add 1hr after the first hour is done, not sure why they did it this way) was up, the game stopped and they tried to kick us out saying there was a reservation waiting. We obviously told them we had a 3 hour reservation and they told us they don't allow 3 hour play time and their front desk made a mistake. All management had to do was give us time and move the people behind us somewhere else in their 50+ bays. Nope, we got kicked out with our time discounted to half (30 mins) In conclusion, if you are planning on coming here thinking its an actual range with drinks / food, get ready to get disappointed. This is a joke of a business that serves to people that do not know how to play golf. read more

We had an amazing time at Topgolf, and our experience was made even better thanks to our incredible server Zayna! I came here with a few friends a couple weeks ago and had a wonderful experience. The only reason that I did not leave five stars is because our server, Nick, was not really on top of checking our drinks, but he was busy so I am not knocking the restaurant. I love that you can enjoy a nice game of golf while having a fine dining experience. I would definitely recommend coming here and will most likely be back again! read more

Service is crazy bad. Went on a Thursday and it was empty. Told that a bunch of food was unavailable, tried to order a drink, also unavailable. When I received my champagne glasses one had a lipstick stain on it. They messed up my husband's order twice. Second time they brought a completely different item. Kids wanted more time and manager said he would give it, then I got a bill. Used gift cards from Costco and know I didn't use all of them but now I checked and they are all $0. Which means they tipped themselves the balance. Unbelievable, and no wonder it's empty even at half off. read more

My family and I went on a Tuesday evening so the place wasn't busy. We were greeted by Sierra at the counter who was super nice and friendly. She gave us a bay right away on the second floor and answered all my questions. Then our server at the bay was Emery who was also super nice and attentive, smiled the whole time. We had a little kid with us so she made sure to get a kids golf club set without us even asking. The food was good, especially the chicken nachos. We also got chips and queso with guacamole too. It's a very fun place to go with friends and family! Service was great! Thank you Sierra and Emery! read more

I came here with my family of (3) on a Sunday and we got a bay after 30mins of waiting for The third level... so it was for two adults and one kid... we ordered a pitcher of beer and two drinks and when they brought the receipt they charged us triple ! Our original total was only $133 dls they tried charging us $277 with tip would have been $300.. at first when we asked For the receipt they didn't give us the break down receipt so I asked for the break down because it seemed so much.. When they handed us the break down receipt we saw food that we never ordered! So we Told them to correct the receipt and they dropped it to more than $100 less it was ridiculous! You guys have to check your receipts and what you order cause if not they will get you! Be careful spending money here read more

I just reserved a two bay golf experience at this top golf, spent about $1000, and our waiter not once came to us to take our order, other than our first order: We got a two hour session, and as we are trying to pay, they were pressuring us to pay within the two hour allotted time. Why does our pay time count when we are not even golfing? Their staff was slow, and they made us feel that we were the ones at fault. Our server (Raciel) was so slow to attend us, it was sad that I had to even pay tip for the service. Don't go to this place if you can. I will never go myself. read more

Went to the Montebello location for my son's birthday and it was packed. Although, we made a reservation weeks ahead. Service was awesome! Smooth sailing from the front desk to the servers. Great place to have a party or just hangout and play some golf. (I think everyone was tryna hit the golf cart moving around the field) Place is clean and well maintained. Servers are attentive, friendly, courteous and professional. Food was exceptional. Their nachos and wings are delicious. Everyone at our party enjoyed the place. We'll be coming back for sure. First time at top golf with my bf and we had lots of fun. We did wish they had better clubs but it was still a great time. When it came to ordering our food it was ok service could have been more attentive. Our salad was good could have used more chicken. When I saw the utensils it was pretty scary. That knife was either very dirty or had very bad water stains. Needs to be more clean. Probably will come back not sure if we'll order food though. read more

[Long-but Worth the Read] So, I honestly want to be transparent & yet optimistic w/Top Golf Montebello, Ca. Let's be honest the front desk was either clueless or confused w/ minimal traffic in lobby. I was so looking forward with my kids & family, was told to wait in bar area (we arrived 20 min early) and waited for 35 later & was told they would come get us, NOPE my SIL walked over and they told him yah you guys are in bay 223 & 224. We were like thanks (under our breath) elevator to 2nd floor and meet our extremely nice server Mr. Racie (which I tipped $125) to be clear I was not very excited...it took my great experience away and I was in recop-mode. So then I mention to floor manager what happen...why did we wait so long and she was confused, as I spoke, another floor manager wanted to shake my hand to which I wasn't comfortable with that and he gave me a big time attitude and walked away (his name was Peter w/trimmed beard 150 lbs 5'9" JERK) the other floor manager told me that he was a manager as well, OMG really...so you can imagine I was not starting off well. The Sr Manager Marlo was so humble and honest & helpful...really helped me defuse the start of our evening. Offered us some gift cards $15 (that I will never use) and some appetizers on the houses. Honestly he turned it around and our server Racie Cuban-Mid-40's short beard 5'10" a true champ. Would I return (after potentially spending $880) NO, not until they get more experience...it wasn't even the money...we all want Customer Service to be Top Notch! At the end of the night Mr Marlo knocked off about $165 in Appetizers $715 Total. FYI: I had a great convo (prior to arrival) w/Sr. MNGR-Mrs Brandi Dillon, she assured me that she was scheduled to work that night and service would be on point with right & left handed clubs. NOPE...She's wasn't even working that night! 2.6 (First time I rate MNGR) -3.2 (Over all Experience) read more

Was at a birthday celebration 5-11-24 and I was super impressed on my first time experience at top golf Montebello. Ample free parking. Every staff member that I came in contact with was very friendly and eager to help. The ambiance was very nice, different variety of music playing and it was very clean. We ordered a bunch of food like wings, nachos, flatbread pizza, cheeseburger and no complaint. The buffalo chicken dip uhmmmm was interesting, but I wouldn't order again. Drinks were good. But the star was our server/host DEE. He was so energetic, super accommodating, kept checking in on us, made sure we were having a great time. Loved loved loved the quality of service he provided. I've been to multiple top golf's in the past and never had an issue but tonight was my first encounter. I came about 8pm with a small group of friends and we were all having a good time. I noticed even one of the staff members was playing in the bay next to me which at first thought it was kinda odd but he was having a good time in his uniform and maybe his friends. It wasn't until he finished playing that he came around with little man syndrome and got mad at my group for having a "safety hazard" where the balls had piled up to more than one on the mat. He came over and pushed them off the bay and said we couldn't do that but there's no rule posted anywhere saying it's a hazard. Clock out Ian and stay in your bay. Leave the patrons alone. read more
