Im leaving this review in the hopes Topgolf listens and gets this right. The Food and drink situation at the 1st floor bar and restaurant area is not good and it's a missed opportunity for TopGolf to turn this into something special. The place is nice, great indoor and outdoor square footage, with huge TVs and they could make a real killing for patrons that cannot play golf or just want to come and drop money on food. But instead the place seems mismanaged poorly with a defective service process. For starters, the servers at the bar do the best they can but they are chronically understaffed (even on weekends). They routinely run out of wine bottles and have to wait for more to be brought from somewhere else afar. That means the customer has to wait. I waited upwards of 20 minutes for a drink order for this reason. I even had to wait for a lemonade for a very long time. All the beer taps were not functioning today. Food orders take a very long time. The food eventually comes (its really good) but its dropped off by guys with an unfriendly attitude, and with no silverware or napkins. It's a total Shame because the place has the makings for a very awesome place to come and hangout. Instead of a wait staff, you have to order everything at the bar. The same bar with one person that is busting hard to keep up just in drink of orders. So it just perpetuates a very chaotic experience. Perhaps topgolf intentionally runs this area lean so that patrons instead spend their time spending more money at their golfing bays (which are wait staffed). If thats the case, it doesn't have to be one or the other. I would strongly reconsider your business approach to the restaurant/bar area. read more

The drinks were terrible. we ordered food and played and were made to leave the table when we weren't even finished eating as we were finishing. Manager in a red shirt came and kicked us from our table and was very rude and hostile. He was screaming and causing a scene. He had no manners and should not be working anywhere. read more

Unfortunately, I had a reservation this time got there 9:15 waitress took 30 min to come take my order for drinks only ! The game itself is fun, and the staff was attentive. The experience was what we expected except for one aspect. The interior of the building smelled like marijuana. I understand that some people smoke marijuana, but the smell was overwhelming. It is ridiculous! If Topgolf is going to be "the spot" for smoking weed, customers like myself will stop going. read more

we love top golf and hope that the Memphis one can turn it around and survive, but we are giving up! today was our 4th or 5th visit to this location and the service is horrible. we asked for children's clubs for my kids and got them about 15 minutes into our time. they were left handed clubs so we asked for right handed and got another pair of left handed about 20 minutes later. the service is always horrible at this location, but everywhere else I've been is great. it's almost like they are trying to ignore you? the only thing that happened quickly was getting kicked out of our bay as soon as time was up despite my kids never getting golf clubs they could actually swing. read more

I have read some of these reviews and I will have to mirror what some people have said. I have been to a few Top Golfs and by far, this is the worst. Its clean, games are fun, the service is worse than horrendous. If it was crowded, I could somewhat understand. Wasnt crowded AT ALL. It takes 25 minutes or longer to get a bucket of beer. The sweet tea took longer than that. We had a 4 year old that needed the shorter clubs, we asked when we had 1 hour and 45 minutes remaining in our 2 hour game. We got the clubs with 44 minutes left. PLENTY of staff just walking back and forth talking with each other. The bar wasnt busy at all, yet takes forever to get a drink. We ordered the 2nd bucket of beer and by the time we got it, we didnt have enough game left to finish the bucket. Of course they were quick to kick us off the bay when our time was up. And then they want a 20% tip. The service warrantied about a 2% tip. I like Top Golf, however i WILL NOT be going back to the one in Germantown. The service is just to bad. This was a Sunday afternoon. I cant imangine what a busy weekend night would be like. But I am figuring word has gotten out about the lousy service, and these guys arent very busy and what should be peak times. I dont see that place staying open much longer if they dont hire some better service. And at $6 a beer, one would think the customers DESERVE better service. read more

While the experience and food are good, our service was absolutely awful. Took 45 minutes for us to get our drinks. Paid a deposit that they wouldn't take off at the end of the visit stating that the deposit I paid was a "booking fee" despite my confirmation telling me what my remaining balance would be. They could not care less about their customers and their manager seemed unbothered with any of our complaints. I've been to other locations and had the best time, unfortunately, stay away from this location if you'd like to keep your sanity. read more

Been to the Memphis location twice in the past month. As far as the golf bays and overall facility my experience was good... too expensive. However, service in the restaurant and bar area was horrible !!! Had to wait an hour for food and couldn't even find someone to check with. Getting drinks were the same problem. Staff were rude and in la la land. This was my experience both times I visited. When I went to park and there was four police cars plus private security in the parking lot gave me cause for pause .. not a warm and fuzzy! Mgmt needs to seriously address this issues or their time in Memphis won't be long. Can't believe the location wasn't researched better... bad!' read more

TopGolf is a fun experience but the service was a wreck. The other locations we've been to had amazing customer service so this was shocking to us. However, the food was good. If you can ignore extremely bad customer service to have a good time then the Memphis location is the one for you. read more

My experience was not pleasant at all. I secured a total of four bays for a birthday event. We we're extremely disappointed that the bays were not together. We ordered food and drinks and the wait time was extremely long and the food was unsatisfactory. for 2 of the bays the server left mid shift for an emergency and did not communicate anything with us and apparently did not communicate with her co-workers as well. When the checks finally arrived it was extremely hectic and chaotic. At one point, one of the servers started using profane language to convey their frustration with having to do their job. Which led to us then asking for the manager several times and the same server replied by telling us to go get her (the manager)completely unacceptable. Too add further insult to the entire situation the server decided that it was appropriate to call one of our guests a homophobic slur. This really put a bad taste in my mouth overall. I need for someone in an leadership position to contact me and make this situation right. read more

I have visited many TopGolf locations across the country. This is just sad. Management is going for a bar crowd rather than a golf demographic. Night after we attended a birthday party, gun shots fired. This comes after a fight went viral this past weekend. Only opened a couple weeks and already this location could be the most violent in the USA. Our group had to wait over 30 minutes to get a pitcher of beer and watched bartenders just standing around. Service was awful to the say the least. I don't condone folks smoking Marijuana, but the smell of pot was present throughout the facility. By 8:00pm, staff was blasting rap music on the sound system even in the bathroom. Common sense would say that after a violent fight the previous weekend, playing rap music just might not be a good idea. Rap music for golfing demographic?? Are you kidding? Take my advice and do not host a white collar or business outing at this location. Crystal clear management is not trying to attract a golf demographic. read more

We have been here multiple times since they opened & have been really happy with our previous visits. My son came to visit from Florida so thought this would be a good family event to go have dinner, drinks & just some all around fun, however this was by far the worst experience we have had, First off they are completely out of beers on every tap & they are out of most bottled beers? How can you have a full bar/restaurant & be out of so many different types of beer? We ended up just having to drink water & regular beverages ? We went to order food & they have none of the tacos, which has been one of the best items on the menu. We ended up ordering a few appetizers to start which was ok. We then ordered sandwiches & it took forever to come out & was not very good, we will have to stop on the way home to get dinner? We also were supposed to get 30 min extra time but instead of getting 2.5 hrs they take 30 min off the total price which we didn't know until our time was almost up. i have went to Rogers Topgolf on several occasions and never experienced the customer service I did tonight at Little Rock. I had a reservation for over a week and was told upon arrival I would have to wait for a text. At the time of my reservation I approached the host stand where I was told here an error and my bay was ready. We were escorted to the final bay at the end of the golf bay. I went back to question this spot as i was told that is all they had and we would be put on a waiting list by manager Asha. We waited for over 30 minutes before receiving a server which interrupted our time play. When we received drinks they were hot and told they had no ice. I went back to approach the manager Asha to which I I was told not to bother her and to find someone in a red shirt. our server tried her best but we never received another bay or explanation other than the manager Asha was hard to deal and with and they were afraid to ask. Leaving our visit - I asked for this manager Asha to which I was told " you don't want to". I don't want to ask for customer service ?? I was asked to leave as she did not want to deal with me or the situation. Is this a Racal issue to where you want deal with who you want to ? Tell your employees and who you want to deal with or not? money is all the same color and I will not accept this type of behavior. read more
