The employees were not friendly I will not say the reason why, but you can put it together. They were friendly to the "RIGHT PEOPLE". Not sure if this is an environment for a particular people. I just wanted to try something new with my son, but that's the first and last time. The young ladies at the front didn't say anything to us and after I paid she just walked off didn't say where to go pick us the rental skates or nothing. Also, when I spoke to the young man who gives out skates his response was what size..... Wow!! I guess I didn't just say hello. Rude!

Scuba diving is not something that's been on my bucket list forever, and if I'm being honest, not something I thought I would enjoy...but I do! A lot. I'm really thankful I got talked into taking the classes and getting PADI certified. I mean, what girl doesn't want to be a mermaid? The classes met once a week for 5 weeks. After the classroom studies and tests, it's time practice in a pool under the supervision of certified instructors for another 5 modules. The final open water dive certification is in Pelham, Alabama at Blue Water Park. They plan it as a weekend trip and it's a fun time as a group! The instructors have been diving almost my entire life, and one is a retired teacher, so she's very patient and will definitely give you one on one time if needed. I needed it and got it from both of them. The classes are $450 per person. If you're already certified, they sell diving equipment and give refresher courses.

Are you a consistently straight driver of the golf ball? I mean really straight -- like never more…read morethan 10-15 yards off center. You are? Then give my review an extra star; low handicappers are gonna love this course. If you are not, then this course is gonna be frustrating. The fairways are very nice, but narrow and if you can't find them, you're probably OB, in a water hazard, or buried under landscaping. If you fail to lose your ball entirely to one of these fates, you're still gonna be wandering too long through the thick rough searching for it. The greens are lovely, but undulating and quick. The course is just really damn challenging for most weekend duffers. Still, the carts, customer service, clubhouse and food are really good. Definitely worth a look, but bring your A-game for sure.
