Top Golf was really fun for our party (half of which would have better luck blindfolded)! The guys really got into the different games that you can do there and we actually were able to get our brunch and drinks pretty quickly. Staff was effective in communicating when we didn't start right away as well. Bundle up for winter! They do have heating lamps but only could do so much with the wind that day. I wouldn't have minded if the wind had actually helped my ball go farther. We'll likely return again this summer and see what it looks like for a night outing with our group! read more

We went on a Wednesday around 3pm and we were a big group. We did make a reservation. When we arrived at Top Golf, there was a gentleman in the front who took us upstairs to be seated. The place was pretty empty when we arrived. Most of us have never been to Top Golf and never golfed before. Once we were seated, we were told our server will be right with us and the server will answer any questions we may have. However, we waited for a while and then had to flag someone down to 1-help with us on how to start playing and 2- take our food order. There were no instructions on how to play the game or an overview of the clubs- men vs women. Thankfully we had someone in our group that had played golf before who showed us what to do. As per the food and the drinks, it was just mediocre. The food came in a good time but the drinks took a while to come. After we figured out what we were doing, we had a great time. The Impossible Burger is a game changer. Designed to look, cook and taste just like real beef but without any animal protein at all. It's the product of 21st Century food technology that is the prelude to the way many of us will eat in the future. It's also just one more way for carnivores, omnivores and vegetarians to expand their food horizons. Topgolf's version tasted somewhat like beef but was overcooked with super crispy edges that kept it from having that juicy burger mouth-feel. Once past the edges though, it tasted more like a real but dry burger that was helped when I added ketchup, mustard and some of that delicious mayo sauce they provided. In any case, I'd give them another try and ask them not to cook it so much. Whatever you do, get yourself some of their tots. They're potato perfection in a basket. Get you some. Aside from the food, this place is a massive 3 floored golf centered entertainment complex with a modern mausoleum / office building kind of look to it. I'm a non-golfer but it was still fun to watch people in their putting bays having a good time. For a great activity date night or just a friends outing, go there. Also, there's lots to besides golf with some pool tables and tons of TVs. And A Little More Food For Thought Restaurant/Bar: Nice, new, open, airy, sparse and industrial. The only problem is that it's not clear whether you seat yourself or not. We wandered around for a minute in the restaurant and took the safe route and sat at the bar. Bartenders were friendly and I was well taken care of. Handicapped: Good luck. The main floor is on the second floor so there's your choice of doing multiple steps or hiking up an extremely very long handicapped ramp. There's no obvious signs of any elevators so it's not clear to me how anyone in a wheelchair or walker could easily get in. The waitlist for walk ins was 2+ hours. The customer service extraordinaire, Candace P., (who had only been working with TopGolf for a month and four days) knew her stuff! She gave us options, shared all about the facility, was super kind, and very professional. So big props to Candace P., Matt, and their Guest Care team! We arrived, got some beverages, and within minutes we received a text that our bay was ready. Logan, our fabulous server, was ready to take care of us! She greeted us, took our names, smiled, and gave helpful recommendations for both golfing options, food, and drinks. Next, Rose helped us with the clubs and shared some rules and expectations. We've been to Topgolf several times in Charlotte, but we just heard about this one opening in Columbus. We decided to come with my father in law when we were in town visiting. Like other Topgolfs, you have to pay $5 for a players card your first time. If you got one at a different Topgolf, you can still use it though. They can also look you up by phone number if you don't have it with you. We came in the morning, so it was $25/hour for the bay which is a pretty good deal. You can fit 6 people per bay. It goes up to $35/hour from 12-5 and $45/hour from 5-close. We played for 2 hours. We got there around 10 on a Sunday and there was no wait for a bay. We did both the Topgolf game and the TopScore game which date l are pretty similar. They're both good for people who don't golf. We also got brunch while we were there. We got the chorizo and egg sliders and the chicken and waffle sliders. Each came with two different. I would say both were just ok, the chorizo being a little better. I'm a big fan of Topgolf and would definitely recommend coming. I've never been super impressed by the food, but the golf part is a lot of fun. read more

Update: Based on the owner's response to my original review, it is clear he didn't read my comments. I'm down-grading their stars. Love that this new concept has come to Columbus. I'm not a big golfer, but want a place to go have fun and practice my swings. I was happy that I didn't have to spend several hours to walk a golf course and can play for just an hour if I like. The bays are heated and you can order food and drinks. What I didn't like was that the check-in process should have been smoother. It took forever for us to be greeted and directed to our bay (even though we reserved online). The front office people just didn't seem to care. I went. I saw what all the hype is about. I'm hyped up, too. Topgolf is SO. MUCH. FUN. My fiancé and I went this past Monday night because I wanted to check out Topgolf for my birthday. We made a reservation online which was super easy to do. When we arrived we were given a third floor (which is the top floor) bay and a hostess met us and explained everything to us. I was super worried that we were going to freeze because it was 34 degrees outside but the bays really are climate controlled! It was crazy to be so warm yet also be outside. The seating area seats about six people. We did not try the food on this visit but we did get drinks and they have an excellent selection. Our waiter checked on us regularly and made sure we were well taken care of. Playing the game itself was so much fun! They provide you with a full set of men and women clubs and there are also racks to house your own set if you wish to bring them. I believe they even had clubs for lefties. They definitely had a left handed tee. We reserved our bay for an hour but we had so much fun we extended an extra thirty minutes. I seriously had so much fun. The fun music was playing in the background and they also had TVs at each bay that you could control so there's no fear of missing that game you want to watch. They also had a large bar area downstairs when you first come in so if you get there before your group, you can relax there. My niece had her 16th birthday party with family and friend on a Sunday afternoon, beautiful weather. Our reservation was for 2:30, and my BIL checked in, but we waited without any communication for a good 20 minutes past before I walked up and asked for an update. Finally we're directed to our station down the steps on the ground floor. Our waitress was waiting for us when we got to our area. We were the only people on the first level, so it was nice not having to compete with other noises clashing. And they let use golf 30 minutes over our time allotment to make up for the miscommunication. The golfing system is pretty straight forward. It was kind of annoying t that the tv screens weren't registering our distances. The food was good for a party setting. Your normal chicken fingers, cheeseburger sliders, tots, and mini hotdogs. The chicken fingers were very tender and flavorful. Yes, they're probably precooked frozen ones, but whatever they were good for the occasion. As far as entertaining, yes, this is a fun experience. Would I go more? No, for several reasons: 1) I live 38 minutes away, 2) I'm not a golfing gal, never have been, and 3) the price is on the high side (if I want to golf, I'd go to a golf range where you get the most balls for your bucket). It's a great space for a fun evening with friends, but beyond that reasoning, I'm drawing blanks. Oh! And the less than ideal view, haha! This was the very first time that me and a friend of mine decided to come and visit. I always wanted to come and visit and I finally got the chance to do so. We had a 2 hour reservation and ordered our drinks as soon as we sat down. they took 25 min to come out. we ordered food as soon as the drinks came out. The game ends and as we are half way through our dinner the waitress asks us to move to the bar area, as they're cleaning our table for the next guest. My brother and I were looking for something different to do during a sunny afternoon and we came to Top Golf. A lot of fun and very good social distancing as the golf is outdoors. You sign up for an amount of time and are assigned a hitting bay which can accommodate up to 6 people at a time. 60 minutes is plenty of time for two people to hit balls which have sensors embedded into targets to accumulate points. It's kind of like target golf. We also ordered food and drinks which are brought out by a server who is very attentive to your needs. All in all a fun day and something totally different. Love this place. I've been golfing since I was 5 and much prefer the driving range to playing 18 holes. Prices changes throughout the day (more expensive during peak times), so I tend to go when I'm off work during a morning. The clubs they provide are great quality. You have to become a member which costs $5 but then they start sending you promos via email. They serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks along with food. I usually just share a pitcher of beer with my husband while we golf. The covered bays are nice when it's hot. Although it's still steamy in the summer with the humidity. My kids love coming to top golf, but I have to say our experience tonight was horrible. We reserved a bay for 90 minutes and promptly put in our food order when we arrived. As our time ticked away, the food never came. As we had 30minutes left our server told us we would need to go sit somewhere else in order to eat our food, if our food didn't come out soon. We were also told it was initially the kitchen was backed up, then several minutes later our server then told us one of the stoves wasn't working. With 5 minutes left we were told we would need to leave our bay since our food hadn't come up. They said we could sit in the bar and wait but she had no clue when our food would be out and couldn't give us any estimate of how long we would wait. At this point we had waited over 90 minutes for food and were told we would have to find a spot in the terrace bar if we actually wanted to eat. This is a perfect place to hangout with friends or family, it just may get a bit loud with kids. Their appetizers are always good for it being more or an entertainment facility. I reserved two bays for a family get together (we were coming in from out of town). Top golf's policy requires 50% down payment. We found out the day before our reservation that we came in contact with someone who tested positive for Covid and had to cancel so we could quarantine as recommended by the CDC. First I couldn't get ahold of anyone at Top Golf in Columbus on the phone as they were all out for the weekend. Second when the National office picked up, I found out they have no authority to help and just took a message for the specific location. So I left an email for my coordinator at the location stating that we had to cancel and why. The location called the morning of our reservation to let me know they are keeping half of my deposit and putting the other half on credit (only for that location - again we live out of town) to be used within a year or it is also forfeit. So for doing the responsible thing and not potentially exposing my family (Dad is in his 80's) or their workers to Covid, I'm losing over a hundred dollars for certain and possibly another hundred if I don't use the credit. DO NOT MAKE A RESERVATION AT TOP GOLF. Their "no refund" policy does not allow for any unforeseen and unfortunate circumstances. read more

Visited this location with some family and had a great time! The golf game setup is really fun and good for people of various ages (including my 7 y/o niece). They have heaters which I was thankful for on this brisk, fall day. Their menu is more limited compared to pre-COVID but still lots of great choices. I've been to TopGolf multiple times since they've opened this Polaris/Columbus location. Each time the gameplay has been fun & my scores have improved! I've been for a catered business party, birthdays, with my family, just a few people, & packed a bay full a few times. My food has always been good (highly recommend the chicken & waffle sliders, macaroni bites, and injectable donut holes) as have the drinks. The attendants are great, not getting in your way but always there to help or get refills/orders. I've been twice since COVID precautions became necessary and TopGolf has responded well. The bays are more separated than in the past by plastic barriers & you're required to have a mask on if not at your bay. Hand sanitizer is plentiful & I've seen the attendants wiping down all of the golf clubs and surfaces after every group is finished. Reservations are more encouraged to minimize waiting. read more

Queso with chips and salsa was probably some of the best queso I've had, and you get a pretty big bowl of it. Heated golf stalls, decent selection of clubs, tv and the computer was super user friendly. The pre registration for members of your group made it go pretty smoothly as well. We arrived about 30 minutes before our reservation, but there was plenty to do while we waited. After we checked in we were able to explore the venue and they texted us about five minutes before our reservation time and said it was ready. We were able to just go straight out reserved stall from there. Downstairs has seating and a pool table, second floor has a restaurant an bar and gift shop. Third floor also has a bar.
