Went to top golf last night around 8pm. When we arrived we were told the wait would be about an hour. we decided to go up to the third floor patio and grab a bite to eat. We placed our order for drinks and shortly afterwards our server returned to take our order for food. Drinks took 20 minutes to find our table. We rarely have the experience of getting something undrinkable but that's exactly how we felt after a few sips. It's quite disappointing when you pay $16 for golfbags drink and around $10-11 for regular drinks. Food did not arrive until 10 minutes before we received a text that our bay was ready. We ordered the backyard wings and the craft beer queso. Before the food arrived to our table, I observed the server/food runner walking around with what ended up being our food for approximately 10 minutes. Needless to say, food arrived cold. I was able to touch the cast iron dish that holds the queso and felt no heat. Finally received a text that our bay was ready. When we arrived to our bay I decided to order another queso and give it a second try. Queso again arrived cold. I decided not to spend any more money and simply left. The only reason I gave it two stars is because golfing was fun and my son enjoyed it. read more

It's a fun place to go but be prepared to spend a pretty penny. Their event staff for team building events are on point. They can help run games and tournaments that help engage a larger group (we had 50 people). The games make it fun for the golf pro and the novice alike. Ridiculously long wait is to be expected during the weekends. Expect to wait 3+hrs for a tee time and pay over $100 for 2hrs of play regardless of how may ppl you have. Pls don't offer me VIP passes to buy bc in sure I'll have to dish out another $100....lame. Get your reservation system on point and you'll be good to go. On a lighter note, the food was not too bad in the restaurant. Our quesadilla and nachos were loaded with meat and were tasty. You would likely visit Topgolf to rent a golf suite and swing away with your friends. I, however, have found one of the best kept secrets about Topgolf. Someone told me that they had good food so I thought I would check it out. You don't need a membership card to patronize the bar/restaurant area.There are two places you can drink and eat: a main floor bar/restaurant and a top floor bar and patio. The downstairs bar and dining area is nicely laid out in a large rectangle with plenty of room and a good view of the driving range. The servers are prompt and very friendly. There is a good selection of beverages and the menu is sure to appeal to any taste and appetite. There is no happy hour, but prices are reasonable and for the quality of atmosphere, drinks and food, totally worth it. You can sit, sip and dine while watching people who have obviously never held a golf club before contribute to the $30 million+ revenue this place is doing -and there's good reason for that. There is just kind of a happy buzz about this place; everyone is having a good time. I haven't patronized the upstairs bar/patio yet -it's smaller - but it looks great for the summer days/nights; they have umbrellas there and it is also a good view. This is now a regular stop on my HH list; relief from the boredom of the usual suspects in DTC. Try it out; you'll like it. read more

First time there over Labor Day weekend and it was busy! However the wait wasn't too long to get a "bay" which is where you golf from choosing from among several different games, longest drive, top score, etc. The bar was really nice and the worker bee's were GREAT! There were four of us (plus a baby) and we hit for about 90 minutes. It seems kind of pricey but when you divide it by how many you are with, it's not bad at all. It's like bowling....only it's golf! Went to Top Golf on a Saturday so if you choose to go on a weekend, beware that you will wait. We waited about 2 hours to get into a bay but luckily we needed to eat dinner beforehand. Unfortunately, the food there isn't top notch. We ordered some burgers and, while they asked how we wanted them cooked, each one came out fairly well done. We did get some appetizers (beer cheese dip and nachos) which were decent. Overall, food is so-so. On to the golfing! So much fun!! This place has 3 levels and tons of bays to golf from. When we went it was $45 for an hour for an entire bay (you don't pay person person) which is great for late night! They have lots of different games to play on the range. This venue is amazing! It's a fun place to go to play golf, and you don't even have to be good at it. We went on a Sunday night and they told us it would be about an hour wait. But we ended up getting called in around 45 minutes. On the bottom level, there is a hangout area to play WII or xbox, pool and to order drinks or food, so the wait didn't feel too long. My friends and I were assigned a box on the third floor. It's a little daunting if you have a fear of heights! There are different versions of "games" to play, but basically, it counts your scores differently. They are all pretty fun, and also, the food is good. Growing up, I was an avid miniature golfer. As life turned toward adulthood, I have developed a love/hate relationship with golf. It's always so stressful getting out on the golf course and trying to be perfect, slicing balls, hitting the dreaded water hazzard or sand trap. I always end up stressing out and in very ungentleman like fashion cussing under my breath. All that to say this. The reason I loved Topgolf is that it was fun like miniature golf, but you still get to hack away at balls like Happy Gilmore playing all the fun games. Better than a driving range, where you try more for distance, Topgolf allows you to work on accuracy. And it's very fun to boot. We sipped on $3.50 PBR tall boys and struck golf balls toward targets for a couple hours, stress free. I will definitely go back again. read more

We had one of the best times here out and I can't wait to go back!! I am COMPLETELY GLUTEN INTOLERANT and CAN NOT even eat out because of cross contamination! Topgolf not only made me feel comfortable when I had to bring my own food but also tried to see what they could serve me "gluten free" it was sweet! Unfortunately, I can't but the thought was heartfelt! BUT, with my illness can I just say the FOOD looks, Smells and from what my party says is GOOD food!! This is a really fun place to go anytime of the week! Whether you want to sit and play different games of golf or simply work on your stroke, you can do a wide variety of things. God I love this place. Why have you forsaken me? Still sitting here in our booth while writing this- a few observations... Again, love this place. Can't wait to spend all my money here. Waiter was a ghost at first and then seemed to turn it around once the crowd died down a bit. Manager came to see us- food covered and 30 min extra added to golf. Cool. Love it. Somehow donut holes ended up at our table. Said they were a gift from the kitchen. Guess what- didn't finish all the late food that was sent, so they are sitting untouched. So the remedy to the mishaps were ok I guess. Would rather have more time added than excess/unnecessary food. I refuse to give this place any less than four stars. I was so excited to hear they were opening a top golf in Denver as I loved to play when I was in Dallas but was very disappointed in service. Me and 12 friends went to celebrate my husbands birthday and the waitress was not only slow but extremely rude. When we asked her for anything she was annoyed. When u asked her for food she said " I guess" with a dirty look on her face. Then when I asked her for the check she said "I knew you would want something else". Topgolf is amazing. I've been to a few different ones and they're all great. Perfect for a group of friends to hangout and socialize while having fun hitting golf balls. Don't be timid if you've never played golf before. It's all for fun anyways and it is a great place to learn. You get assigned a bay that has its own seating area. Most bays have tables and chairs however some have couches and coffee tables. While you are there you will have a server taking your drink and food orders. If you're not interested in hitting golf balls around you can dine in at the restaurant or hangout at the bar. They have various lounge areas where you can drink eat and play bar games. It really is the perfect hangout. Also it's important to note, if you're worried about the cold, each bay has overhead heaters that significantly warms the area. However you will still feel a draft from the huge obvious open space but the heaters do help tremendously in my opinion. read more

Lots of room for improvement! My husband and I met there for dinner on Tuesday 7.26.16 and to check it out as we've heard good thinks about the bar and the food. I have to say I was disappointed in the service. At first we sat at a table and several servers walked right past us and not one acknowledged our presence. We then moved to the bar thinking that would be a better place to sit. We were wrong. It took several minutes for the bartender to come over to take out drink order. Then it took several more minutes for him to get our food order. My artichoke, prosciutto, and olive flat bread was ok. Nothing great. Such a cool place! My husband has been dying to try out top golf and on this trip to Denver we got to try it out! The atmosphere is great, plenty of spaces for group to golf, good selection of food and drinks and even a social lounge area. We went during winter and was worried it would be cold since it is a driving range, but they have heaters in the whole outdoor area which kept us warm in 19 degree weather. You can have 6 people play at a time. You pay per hour. Price per hour based on what time of day you go. Everyone has to buy a one-time $5 players card. First time here and I gotta say... I LOVE TOP GOLF. This would be a great date spot, bit pricey, but it was well worth the fun with great friends. We got the nachos and pineapple liquor drink. The chicken was a bit dry but that can be overlooked. I like the concept. My friend was explaining it to me, and I really didn't get it. After my visit, huge fan! Would definitely be back here or any Top Golf - wish they have it in the Chicago area. Oh wells! Still had a great time! It's like golfing but you hit it into targets. They have a field with nets and you score points making into the net. The closer you can hit it to the center, the more points. Farther holes = higher points. What a cool place! My husband and I went to Denver for a baby moon and to visit some family as well, wanting to spend time with our nephews we suggested a lunch with them at Top Golf. The nephews are both under ten and avid golfers, so this seemed like the perfect place to take them to expel some energy. The set up is awesome, unlike anything else i've ever seen. The range looks like any old driving range, three levels, but this venue is distinctly different in the sense that they have tables and lounge areas behind each tee off zone. Which was an awesome place to grab lunch while everyone was taking turns swinging for the goals. The premise is to aim for the circles on the range, which I'm told are lit up and heated for night and winter play. It was comfortable, due to the seating, as well as, the bay had heat lamps that produced so much heat it made those that were playing warm enough to ditch the sweaters and extra layers. I would love it if there was a Top golf in the LA area, as I would think it would be very popular with golfers of all experience levels. The food was better than i expected it to be, the buffalo sliders and the small side salad I had were pretty awesome. When my son is old enough to golf and on one of our trips back to see the family I can't wait to take him here and watch his father and he have a blast playing together. read more

It's totally okay to show up straight from work still dressed in your business casual- you'll fit right in, at least on a weeknight. Grab a group of coworkers, preferably those who know at least the basics of swinging a golf club. Rent a bay by the hour, and compete to score points for the length and aim of your drive. Friendly waitstaff keep you supplied with food and drink, and do a great job keeping track of separate tabs even when you all keep changing places! Your membership fee might be the cheapest you've ever paid- $5 for a lifetime membership, but it's awfully easy to spend quite a bit more than that. You'll be having so much fun that you won't hesitate to swipe that plastic for just another 30 minutes to finish your game... again. read more

3-stars. why? well, first, I want to say I have a lot of fun when we visit our daughter and she takes us to Top Golf. If you're not a "Special guest" or member, the wait can and is long. The average wait is about an hour plus. The food is good and the customer service is hit and miss. After we got our golfing bay, I asked a server for a coke. Her response, "you have to ask your server, you're not my table" Really? It's just a coke. Some people just have no etiquette when it comes to customer service. Indecorous is probably a good word for her lack of service because she was rude about it. Somewhat expensive. I am in no way a golfer. but it is a fun time. read more

Being from Seattle, Top golf is a unique and innovative way to spend an evening or day. If this were in Seattle I'd be in trouble as I would probably spend way too much time/money here. I was introduced to this place as a corporate team building event, and I've come back every time I'm in the Denver area. The experience was exceptional between food, service and the high tech golf. I would highly recommend throwing a work or social event here. It is a little pricey, however well worth the entertainment if you can swing it. I have never been to anything like this prior to the event. I've been to cheap driving ranges where you rent a bucket of balls and a bucket of beer. I've never been any good at golf, but this place really steps it up with a lounge experience at every bay. Making for a great hang out even for those us who miss the ball entirely every now and all the time. The different games that you can play make this a challenge for the novice and the pro. Being able to track how far and precisely where your ball goes is the best part. You're no longer trying to aim for the stars (or the ball collector cart), squinting to see where your ball may or may not have gone. You have targets to hit in order to earn points. We made a $25 reservation online for a bay... online, it would seem as if the reservation is for the hour time slot as well as the ability to walk in and have a bay available and not have to wait. Upon arrival, we were told we had to wait, and were not given an ETA at the front desk. TWENTY MINUTES LATER we get to our bay to discover we paid the $25 for no reason, and that our one hour of play would be $36. My Fiance reached out to the customer service team to see what the misunderstanding was and why we paid $25 to still wait for a bay. the response we received from "Roy", a member of the customer care team stated: "Hi, Im Sorry that you skipped over the sections that tell you the reservation fee is an additional fee." The rest was the typical canned answer you could expect from a customer service team. We will not be returning, the prices and fees aren't made clear, the communication from both the staff at the location and online is poor and unclear, and to pay $61 to spend an hour is unbelievable. read more

I'm pretty certain I experienced Topgolf for the first time ever on the coldest day ever here in Denver. I had a blast and really enjoyed how helpful everyone there was. This place is a 2019 version of a 1990s bowling alley. A lot of jazz for not a whole lot of fun. Very expensive drinks and food not to mention the actual golf. I have been here many times. I will say I did not expect the food to be very good, but it's actually really good. We love going on the weekends when they have brunch. Mostly for the manmosas. If you have a group of 4 or more its a pretty good deal. It gets really busy so if there's a wait we usually just chill at the bar while we wait for our bay.
