I've been to Topgolf plenty of times, but this was only my second visit to this particular location. Overall, I had a great time. First and foremost, the games were a lot of fun. I usually stick with Angry Birds since I don't really know how to play actual golf, but that's part of what makes Topgolf so enjoyable--you don't have to be good at golf to have a good time. The food was solid, just like I've come to expect. I ordered the lemon pepper wings, which were flavorful and cooked well. I also got a trio with vegetables, bread, and dips, and that ended up being really, really good. It was a nice option to share and definitely something I'd order again. My friend went with a hamburger and absolutely loved it as well. I will say that the service at this location was a bit slow compared to what I'm used to. That said, our waitress let us know upfront that they were short-staffed that day, so it was understandable. She was still friendly and did her best, which I appreciated. Overall, despite the slower service, I had a great experience. The food was good, the atmosphere was fun and energetic, and the games made for a really enjoyable outing. I came here after attending the Stallions game at Protective Stadium. The goal was to grab something to drink to cool off before walking back to my car. David , the bartender provided me with efficient and friendly service. I was able to enjoy my drink & cool off (a little) while watching the conclusion of the Stallions game on tv. Clean and fun place to bring family/friends for a good time. May just be me, but I thought going on a Sunday at 11am would make pricing better, but it was still $40 for a bay. Waitress was okay. She was not super cheery and seemed like I bothered her if I asked for utensils. Scramble was okay, but lacked flavor. I put ketchup ontop and it made it a little better to eat. The cast iron skillet makes the bowl look cute, but they need to work on the quality of the food. Price was very reasonable at $10. Breakfast burrito was better than the scramble. It had bacon and sausage with peppers! Came with salsa and I was sold for $10. Bloody Mary was pretty good, but they uncharged me on vodka (Tito's). So it was $11.99 which is steep on a brunch Sunday. Coors light $5 draft deal with a free cup was a pretty good deal. My boyfriend looooved this! We had a lot of fun playing golf the other night. Definitely make a reservation if you plan to go on a weekend. Prices are cheaper if you go during the day. If you can be flexible you can save a lot of money. You can order food and drinks here. I'm not going to lie it can be pretty pricey. Food is decent. Service here left a lot to be desired on our most recent visit. We ordered chips and queso which also came with salsa. Nice. The queso was really good. However, our server didn't bring us plates or napkins. We had to wait a bit till she finally came back. We ordered our main courses and when they all came out my daughter didn't get a fork to eat her salad. We had to go in search of our server again. I had ordered a grilled chicken sandwich but my chicken was pink in the middle. The server didn't come by till everyone else was done eating. I told her my chicken was undercooked. Not sure if she heard me but she walked away. My husband finally flagged down the manager and tolls him the situation with the chicken. He offered a new meal but we were already done. They did take it off the bill so that was good. They really ought to have an easy way for the guests to let the server know they need something like a light or a buzzer or something. I have been here for parties in rooms on this cite but this is the first time that I have played golf here. We were treated to 4 bays so that several groups could play the same time. We had two servers attending to our needs and both were awesome. Our ladies treated us to a buffet which included pasta, salad, beans with tomatoes, bar b qued chicken and bar b qued brisket with sweet treats. The bar b qued brisket was nice enough to make me return by itself. I was told it's $40 a. Hour. We also had Access to the pool room Which is included in the price. Overall, the place is great for enjoying yourself. Here's my feedback: Positive: I had a large party 12+ guests and had reserved two bays in advance. My check-in was smooth, and they were ready to accommodate us upon arrival and were really nice greeting me at the desk. Once I made it to the bays, I was able to enter my guests' info and start playing. A waitress came over to introduce herself (Robin) and ask about the reservation (How to process bills/charges). She was ready to take our orders also. One of the floor managers realized we had a large group and was kind enough to inquire if we were good. He also was concerned about the well-being of his employees being treated right, having so many to attend to. Out of 4 or 5 visits here since they've been opened today was by far the worst visit. We walked in, the place was clean, & the staff was friendly. Our lanes were on the ground floor and this was where our problems began. We signed into our lane 113 only to realize the golfball machine was out of order. We then switched to another lane. That lane was out of order. Then the staff supposedly fixed the problem. We started hitting, then the golfball wouldn't spit out. We then went to another lane. While we were getting shuffled around like a deck of cards in Las Vegas the other part of our group had been playing for 30 minutes with no problem. We finally got to start playing, but every few rounds the ball wouldn't spit out of the machine and the staff would come try to fix the machine. read more

Took a trip to Alabama to visit my mom for the thanksgiving weekend. Came here for the first time ever. There were heaters outdoors so it was very comfortable while playing in 35 degree weather. The waiter was very friendly, quick, and convenient at all times. The food was great. The time was good. We were late by 30 minutes and our stall was still ready and waiting for us! One of the funnest things to do in the City Of Birmingham! My teenagers absolutely love it, and we always have a good time when we go. Reservations can be a little expensive during peak hours, so if you're flexible, just do a walk up. It takes a good two hours to really do this, so plan ahead. One hour is never enough. Especially if you have a decent number of people. Each bay hold six, and there's usually at least five of us. The food is amazing! Chicken nachos could easily be a meal. This was my first ever Topgolf experience. While I found it a little pricey and the customer interactions from our server a bit terse, as beginner golfers, the girlfriend and I had a pretty fun time here on a random Sunday evening. We had some good laughs while playing their golf-version of the Angry Birds, which seemed to be a perfect game for newbie golfers such as ourselves. Basically, you are tasked with knocking down the Angry Bird fortresses, which are displayed on the tv screen, and you adjust your aim in real life accordingly. The sensors for the game register in a way that don't require you knowing how to smash the ball, so it was perfect for us. After our hour was up, we were pretty surprised by how much of a workout we go, as evident by our sweaty shirts. I hear this is one of the more fun "late-night" activities here and I definitely recommend it, at least once! read more

First time here and won't be my last! We had such a great time! We had a group of 8 and it was easily accommodated! The place has plenty to do and plenty of drinks to enjoy at the bar! There's lots of seating and tv's everywhere so you can come watch the game! We went upstairs and were immediately greeted and asked what we wanted to drink. My son was dealing with a lot during and immediately following the pandemic. He and our other children had attended with school groups and individually numerous times. We booked a $1k bday party that got cancelled. The following year, despite FINE print we DID NOT receive via email, tried to rebook. They STOLE our deposit of almost $400. My son is a high school senior and living his best life. But, neither he nor us will EVER visit this location again. I was traveling, on June 2nd and I stopped at a hotel in Bessemer AL and I call the at 3979 Parkwood Rd. 5365 phone number 205-426-1131 ordered a pizza to be delivered. This was at 9:30 PM an hour later I called to see why my pizza has not been delivered at that point. I was talking to someone that was working in the Philippines. They transferred me to the store which I never got a chance to talk to anyone at the store, I called several times, my last call that day was at 12:30am, on June 3rd and the 4th I call the store back I was still talking to someone in the Philippines once again they transferred me to the store which I never talk to anyone at the store. on June 4th I called Domino's headquarters put it in a complaint asking for a refund they told me they could not give me a refund I would have to get it from the store and i ask for their franchisees phone number so I could talk to that person. They told me they don't not have a number for the franchisee and I know that's a lie. You're would not have a franchisee person and don't have the phone number or any information on that Person, I ask them to have a franchisee to give me a call I did not receive a call back that day. As of June 5th I called headquarters again and they told me they would have someone to call me let's see if I get a call today. all I want is a refund. this is very bad customer service and I would never ever order again from Domino's pizza. read more

In town for a conference and the host held an event here at Top Golf- I had no idea what to expect. It was also very cold out but fortunately for us they have overhead heating along each bay situated over the seating. We had 6 players and a complete blast was had by all. I'm not a good shot so for me to be able to smack some balls and not have to worry about windows or trees etc... made for a very enjoyable good experience. Anyone can play! I now look forward to going when I visit other cities with a Top Golf. The food is ok but I'm not there to to eat dinner. We then had to hunt down napkins and silverware. By the time we took our first bite everything was cold. Our server was rude and inattentive! Terrible experience. Were put on the waitlist for 2.5-3hrs-- that's fine no problem! We go to dinner at a brewery and while eating get a text that tells us our bay will be ready in 30 minutes. So we scarf our food down and return to top golf to be told that they didn't know why we received that message, they were sorry, they'll move us to the top of the list for the inconvenience. Okay, cool-- thank you, so nice...... until it's 2 hrs later and we've been given multiple texts indicating that the bay would be ready in 15 minutes, for that 15 minutes to come and go with nothing.. we had been sitting in the restaurant area the whole time, approached the bar, trying to get someone to take our orders and nothing. At this point we're walking out and they send the text for the bay. Okay? Thanks for that. We go to the bottom level and are walking to our bay and we notice that a lot of the bottom bays are empty and there are TONS of people still waiting for texts or service of any kind. We get into our bay and have been playing there for almost 20 minutes when one of our party approaches the 2 servers standing at their machine to see if someone is coming to get our orders. They're extremely rude, tell him they've just arrived and they'll come when they can, then proceed to take everyone's order around us. Finally, a server comes to get our order-- 2 cookie skillets, a pitcher of beer, and a coffee. The beer comes warm, the skillets have been sitting, and the coffee was cold. Our waitress forgot our orders and had to come back to ask. We were there two hours and it took the whole two hours to get drinks and 1 round of refills for 6 people. We finally got a few appetizers that we order close to leaving because she kept for getting. I will go back and I do recommend going. Just if you get the lady we did I would ask for a different waitress. That in my opinion will make or break you experience. Also if you are a decent size man go easy on the golf clubs.
