Came here with a large group of coworkers and had a great time! The mac and cheese springrolls and injectable doughnuts were fantastic! Chandler was friendly and provided awesome service! Will definitely be back! read more

Such a fun way to play golf! Driving range meets bowling alley meets outdoor dining. Go on Sunday mornings for half the price. They even serve breakfast food. The staff is friendly and attentive. Don't worry if you don't have your own set of clubs. They have men's and women's sets at each bay. Work on your golf game or just go for a good time. read more

Awesome place except for the lady bartender at the middle (main) level inside bar who had a ridiculous attitude that spoilt the fun........... read more

So the idea of this place is fantastic, unfortunately the food was not so great along with the service. I'll start out with the good, the game was a blast I loved the idea and all the fun we had. The view from the top is incredible and the ambiance is wonderful. The bad part and what is going to make it hard to go back is that upon arrival we had no clue what to do being it our first time. We followed the signs to lead us to the front desk where the lady didn't really explain how things worked she just told us it was going to be about an hour wait and how much it would cost. After that, we went and sat down in the bar area to wait. The wait staff paid no attention to us and after flagging someone down they said they would send someone over, after 20 minutes of waiting I went up to someone else and they finally sent a person over. They were nice and took our drink order and an order of queso but that was it before we got our bay assignment. Once we wandered around with no guidance to our bay we finally found it and started. At that point we had absolutely no clue what to do, and of course no one bothered to explain anything to us. So we looked around and tried to catch someone's attention but they all just walked passed. Finally our queso came to our table and we ended up asking the guy from the kitchen to explain this to us because no one else would help. He did his best in explaining it but I still feel we did not get the full experience being that we didn't know really what to do. After playing with it we finally figured it out on our own. Then a whole hour into playing our waitress finally arrives to see how we are doing. We put in our orders and asked her to help us figure the game out and she said I will be right back to help yall. Of course I think she forgot because we didn't see her again for about 45 minutes to an hour later when she said, where is yalls food? We said we had no idea, so she went and checked on it. Finally about 20 minutes after that someone comes with our food. I had ordered a burger with cheese and my burger came out with nothing on it. So I asked for cheese and they apologized and said I will fix this. Of course waiting another 30 minutes they finally bring back my burger but this time it's burned on the outside and pink on the inside with a piece of cheese cold not melted ontop. The fries were clearly old and cold so being extremely hungry and not wanting to wait another hour for my food I ate a little of it so I would not be completely starving. I'd be a little bit more understanding if they were packed but they really were not all that busy once we sat down, most people had cleared out. I want to go again because it has potential and seems like it could be fun, but I really don't want to risk the money and have the same experience. read more

Thank you Chrissy for going out of your way to provide us with a band aid. Every one else seemed too busy to look for one. Last night

I love Top Golf. I am terrible at golf but I even won a game against my friends the other day. If you are going to eat while playing the shrimp and cheesy grits are really good. I have also had a couple of their burgers and fries, very tasty. read more

You can never go wrong going to topgolf it's always a fun time! The food is tasty and the drinks are strong. I've always had good service and the manager Aaron and Dana are AWESOME! I would highly recommend coming here! read more

Don't schedule a group outing with them. Their "Party Package" requires you to pay a premium to have bays together, get food priced above their menu prices. I tried to order food that was more suitable to my group, but both the event planner and sales manager were completely unwilling to work with me. I requested to speak with a corporate representative, but after three days, still have not received a response. I either spoke with two terrible employees, or Topgolf as a company is completely unwilling to customize their service to meet small customer requests. I used to go to Topgolf at least once a month, but from now on, I will take my business elsewhere. read more

Always love this place most specially on a weekend with my kids..... And DJ is a plus

Such a great atmosphere with great food. Topgolf in Austin was one of the funnest experiences that I've had in awhile. What more can you ask for? Golf, drinks, fried food... yes yes and yes. read more

Great concept but it's destine to fail if they can't get the service improved asap. Been twice now and both time had to wait ~45minutes to get our first round of drinks. First time our appetizers and meals came out before the drinks and the second time the appetizers took just under 2 hours to come out. read more

Great night out with friends! TopGolf is certainly popular, which means you may end up waiting for a bay, but it is worth it. Staff is friendly, courteous and helpful, and the place has a great upscale atmosphere. The bartenders are fun, even when they're super busy :-) Even the valet service (Capitol...something, is the company) was great! I don't usually feel compelled to comment about a valet, but these guys are really nice, professional, and they work their butts off in this relentless Texas heat. If you go to TopGolf anytime in summer, use the valet service, the parking lot is HUGE...I think it's worth a generous tip to stay cool in your party clothes! read more

First time experience, kids enjoyed it, great facilities, but service was below par. Front desk, was great, very helpful, but the waiters seemed slammed and overwhelmed. We didn't get food for 1 hour from time we ordered and never got refills. Had to remind staff when we transferred upstairs that we were still waiting for our food in the bay. Made a couple mistakes on the order, which is no big deal, but then forgot to come back to bring correct order! I should not have to coordinate with the waitstaff while I am a guest. . Hopefully the kinks will be worked out behind the scene, because the kids had fun!! I believe they are understaffed and need to increase the employees to provide better customer service. read more

We had team outing at Top Golf. Everyone was really helpful, there was enough staff to accommodate all of the customers. We experienced good customer service, never needed to look too hard for our server. They also have lots of great events, happy hour, etc. Definitely recommend as a place to go with a group. read more

Julia was an excellent waitress. Can't remember the last time I've had that good of service and had that much fun. Great for the whole family! read more

Every time I visit Austin I go to this place. The food and drinks are great. Its super fun and a great place for family and friends to have a good time. read more

Customer service is a priority here. First time I ever being here I come in with my boyfriend, and two family members from out of state. They were so friendly explaining how the memberships worked and how we could buy one for all of us or one each (they are only $5 for life totally for the one each) then she got another employee to show us around. This friendly woman took us downstairs explained the game in a friendly no-pressure type of way, even joked about her less then great skills, she demonstrated how to use everything, and introduced us to our hostess. After about 45-50 minutes of us playing, eating delicious food, sharing a huge but delicious fishbowl, part of the city of Austin lost power, including top golf. They started running on a back up generator but it wasn't the same. We decided not to add any time, but before we left managers came around and opened up everyone's machine that gives our balls so you could hit for as long for free, and then the hospitality manager came around to every bay, explained what was going on, welcomed us to stay but told us the generators only run for an hour, she apologized and gave us a free one hour to use at a later time. I just thought this was a super inconvenience to them, but out of their control, yet they handled it so wonderfully. They rocked. I will definitely be back. read more

Where to start with this, my first time to review a place but the only reason that is, is because of what our night ended up being. We got here at 5:10 on a Saturday which we thought was plenty early for a graduation celebratory game of top golf. We thought it would ease the wait time, little did we know that only a mere 3 hours and 7 minutes later did we get the text saying our bay was ready. I am sorry but who goes anywhere to wait 3 hours to play? We drank, then we ate, waited even longer, and it took over 3 hours for our bay to be ready. Each time we would go down to ask our wait time their response was 45 minutes - an hour. There should be no place that you are subject to this amount of wait without being told the possibility of it taking that long. When you say 45 minutes to an hour 3 times, it gets insane. I am a born and raised Austinite and places like this enrage me, you can't go anywhere that is new and fun without hours of waiting. I'd like to give a big thanks to all of the businesses moving to Austin that are ruining the reason I love the city I have lived in for the past 23 years. Thanks... P.S. Only reason I gave it a 2 star was the flat bread sausage and pepperoni was amazing. read more

Much love to Jen C, best waitress in the WORLD Craig! And the chef who cooked up the mega burger of all burgers, 7 stack three pound burger I ordered. We literally had half a dozen staff taking care of the most awesome lane. 334. Thanks top golf ATX read more

My two stars Is more in reference to the bar then the playing bays. This is my first yelp review of a restaurant/bar and I am reviewing only because I was so disappointed with the bar. We arrived and sat at the bar for a few mins while waiting for our bay. The atmosphere is great, the bar, very nice. I ordered a sapphire martini, extra dry. It was without a doubt, the most disappointing martini I've ever had and that's saying a lot. Keep in mind it's basically straight gin in a glass, nothing terribly complicated. When they brought the drink, the martini glass was half full, including the large olive in the bottom. I don't know if the bartender just short poured and didn't bother to correct or if that's just their standard way of serving a martini . It just looked sad and half consumed, honestly. I've had martinis that are a little short before but this was almost absurd. I'm not sure how you could even look at the glass and think, that looks ok. If that is their standard martini pour then I would really suggest they consider getting smaller martini glasses so it at least gives the illusion of a full drink. I would not have expected that from a bar that looked this nice. Anyway that's my two cents. Great place, super nice wait staff just don't order a martini. read more

Had an awesome time with my crew here at top golf. Everything was handled very well and we had no issues. Will be complete by back.

It's fun! Kind of expensive but you can break the price up between people.

Had a fantastic time at Top Golf. We went on a Monday evening and it was pretty busy. It was a spur of the moment thing, so we didn't have our clubs. No worries. They have clubs at each station for men and for women. The food we ordered was good. I need to play a little more to better understand the games and scoring. Overall experience was good. I did not give you guys a 5 star rating because you are priced a little high and we could have used a little more clarification about how to play and score the games. read more

TG is AMAZING. They have good food, cold beer, friendly staff, and of course the fun driving range games (see other reviews). HOWEVER, I want to post why I gave them only three stars - Saturday nights. Saturday nights (and I assume Friday nights) this place becomes the usual bar/dance club scene with more than a hand-full of riff -raff. Very annoying and I might even say ghetto. Terrible choices in music ("dont drop that thun, thun, thun" what?!) Ugh!! Also the speakers can't handle the volume or something so it sounds terrible too. I really debated only two stars because of how disappointed I was last night, however I have been early on the weekend and/or week day eve and its much, much better. I can only hope they implement a stronger dress-cope or the newness wears off if I ever want to spend my money there again on a weekend night. read more

Went to Top Golf last and first thing we noticed was the great people that worked there - Amber at the Bar and Sam at the door (even the guys who valet our car were very courteous). Love everything about this place - food was good - drinks were good and all the people who worked there were off the chain! A must go place!!!! Highly, highly recommend! We will be back again and again - Austin SO NEEDED a place like this - bring the kids too - lots for them to do as well. Love the free stuff as well. read more

I'm rating Top Golf 3 stars for the overall fun that this venue offers. If I were to rate the service, it would be a 2. I went last night to check in and was notified there was a 45 minute wait. We headed upstairs to have dinner and a drink while waiting. We sat at the table, the only people sitting there, and waited till a server/waiter approached us. That never happened. I had to walk to the bar to ask if I could place a drink order. When I asked if I should place a food order through the bar, she looked unhappy about having to do so. The bar was full but there was not anyone sitting in any of the tables. Multiple workers passed us by and we were not even acknowledged. This is a great place but I was shocked at how bad the service was. I read more

Our company event at Top Golf Austin was FANTASTIC! Great service and atmosphere! Thank you!

Top Golf is a very fun place to go to. I have been to several including the ones in Dallas and always have a great time. It is so much fun with a group of people and plenty of seating for each bay. The food a great and many times, they have live bands playing. The seating is like sitting on a patio and very relaxing. I have been there in the winter and with the heaters, still a great place to hang out. Playing the many golf games is very challenging and great competition too. Sometimes there is a wait and once you get in, go to the 3rd level. They have an outstanding bar and the service is great and fast. If you go, give yourself a few hours because it is that much fun. read more

This was my first time here at Top Golf. I came with some co-workers for a get together to wind down for the weekend. We didn't use the golfing area, only the bar and restaurant section. Our server, Danny, was the BEST!! Very attentive to our needs and so nice. Made sure we were satisfied with all aspects of our eating experience. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is due to the overpricing of the food. It is pretty decent food, though, it does not warrant the price. I think a $13 hamburger is a bit much. I am interested in coming back for the golfing experience. read more

Pretty impressed with this place. I've only been a couple times but both times it has been a lot of fun. I have never been golfing before so I was a little intimidated about going to play with people who have been here before but I couldn't have been any more worng. They have different types of games to choose from. Top scores, Top chip, Top drive, etc. And all of these games made it for more fun. They also label the clubs to help show you which ones to use for which kind of drive. LOVE IT! Honestly I wouldn't know what to use, I'd be the one person who tried to use a driver for a putt. The food was decent and the drinks were STRONG, just how I like them. We went before noon on Sunday and it was only $20 for an hour and it was so much fun. Our waiter was SUPER nice and even told us about a story how some guy went Happy Gilmore on the ball once and fell off the 3rd story of the place. Definetly went a little further from the edge after that story. But it was so much fun and honestly the best fun I've had pretend golfing in my life. read more

Very enjoyable, somewhat different experience. Have been there with family (young children under 10) and with parents night out - had a great time. Prices are pretty reasonable too. read more

Very rude waitstaff and management. Extremely pricey. If you are looking for a place to have a good time, this is not it. Expect to be told what you can't do as soon as you walk in the door. Passive aggressive waitresses with unnecessary attitudes will slam doors, ignore you and act like fun-nazis. Within 20 minutes of being here I wanted to leave. Queso dip is good, but this is texas and you can find good queso anywhere without having to endure whatever it is that is stuck up your waitresses ass. Make sure you bring nine forms of ID and a back up plan for when they run you out of the place. I've been in the service industry for over a decade. This is not how you treat customers. Golf game was fun, but at $40 an hour you'd expect to be treated nicer. If you get the blonde with a nose ring and ugly tattoos, ask for another server. Or just avoid this place all together. Good queso though. Bartenders were nice too. read more

I took my family here and we had a great time. But the lines are ridiculous and the place is very expensive. We were told a 2 hour wait and waited nearly 3 hours. We did go at a peak time (a Friday night). Frustrating, but I guess its a sign of their popularity. read more

You can never change a first impression & my first impression was not good. The idea is great & it was crowded (Austin location) but I'm sure when the novelty wears off, this place will not do well. Very inefficient, long lines & horrible service. We waited an hour for our appetizer and there were at least 10 servers just standing around. Ours had to be flagged down for everything. We asked after 30 minutes & again after 45 minutes if he thought our appetizer might be ready soon. He seemed totally uninterested & said it would probably be out soon then went back to talking to other servers at the bar. When we went out to golf, there were other groups with same complaints. Probably a good place to go just have a drink & hit balls but other than that, I won't go back. read more

Great entertainment and service. It might get a little expensive, and sometimes the wait is out of control

Have been here a # of times, service has always been mediocre, but this visit will definitely be the last. The amount of up sale throughout the whole visit was not only obnoxious but extremely rude. The young concierge 's negative attitude from the beginning should have been a red flag. Finally got to our table after being asked 4 times by 4 different people to buy a Player's Card. Our game froze after 15 min of play. Took another 15 to reset it, then were told we haven't been playing long enough to get the time lost comped. After complaining to management they gave us another 15 min thankfully, but we're told everytime it freezes we would just have to reset the game. No offer to move us to another working unit? In the end we made a trip to the bathroom, while gone they completely cleaned the table and our one player's card, that we were required to purchase, went missing. We asked where it went, they denied seeing it and said it was our responsibility we shouldn't have left it. Then said we can pay a dollar to replace it. So done... thanks for a night of BS. Not going to waste any more time on this. read more
