Fast forward to today, we decided to order a late breakfast in. I thought I would give them another chance, maybe it was an off day. Not the case. I went in to get my food from the counter. I waited while the waitress helped someone ahead of me. She asked my name and I told her and she said they were working on it. She went and got two food cartons and put them down in front of me and told me the total. We had ordered an extra side which was not there and I let her know (in an even tone). She barked back at me that she wasn't done. The man next to me looked bewildered. I began to tell the man about my last experience and the waitress interrupted our conversation and basically told me to shut-up. I was stunned. Additionally, the food has gone downhill. I will never set foot in any Freeway Cafe again. I was trying to support local; but there are plenty of better local eateries.
