Good food and fast service. The place was busy and luckily we got there before the rush. We all enjoyed our breakfast and left quite full.

What a great stop if you're in the Midway area! We needed a place to crash and get a quick bite before taking off on a flight, and we picked this, despite the unassuming exterior. Sweet staff, a waiter who made us laugh and was there with that classic pot of diner coffee before we could even ask, and a nice clean, bright dining area with lots of elbow room. It was as bright and shiny as an IHOP minus the chain restaurant feel. I love mom and pop diners but I don't always love how cramped they are. This was nice and roomy and nobody was breathing down my neck a table over. Both of us got chicken friend steak and biscuits and for $7 apiece it was such a massive amount of food. I'm rarely felled by a big meal but this one did me in. I made it 3/4 of the way through the steak and biscuits (which were delicious) and a few bites into my two eggs and hashbrowns. Was sad I couldn't take it on the plane with me. Overall, great experience and a nice relaxing stop right by the airport. read more

We wanted a hot breakfast in our office this morning and ordered for carryout. We ordered 3 of the #4 club breakfast with biscuit & gravy, eggs and bacon with potatoes and toast on the side. Food was excellent!!!! Packaged well - the eggs were just right, potatoes were plentiful in the side order. Just perfect amount of gravy to mix well. This is a pretty good place to eat - - I just can't honestly rate more than 3 stars. My friend and I got here a little before 11 am. It was not too busy and we were quickly welcomed and seated at a nice large booth. Our waitress brought us coffee and gave us a little time to decide what to order--it is a pretty extensive menu. We hadn't seen each other for awhile so we were pretty busy chatting when our food showed up in a short period of time. We were pretty hungry also, so I never thought about taking photos of our food. I got the Gyro Omelet. I had a choice of hash browns or diced potatoes and picked the hash browns. Also, had a choice of toast, French toast or pancakes - - I went with the French toast. It is just one slice of French toast and it turned out to be a nice sweet treat to go with the gyro omelet. The omelet was excellent. The hash browns were cold, so I took them home in container to heat-and-eat later. My friend had the Country Fried Steak & Eggs. She enjoyed her meal and felt her hash browns were warm enough. She shared a piece of her country fried steak and it sure was good - - I wouldn't mind trying that in the future. Our waitress was very nice. She brought us coffee numerous times and checked to make sure everything was okay. I was very happy with my omelet, so I never mentioned the hash browns - - besides we were too busy talking and eating to stop to complain! Btw, the coffee was the weak, boring coffee that you can usually expect at this type of restaurant. (I really have to remember to bring some packets of instant coffee with me in the future to give the coffee a little boost of taste.) On the way to the restroom, I had to step down two stairs and when I happened to grasp the railing, I noticed it was a bit loose. Although reasonably clean, the restroom was rather depressing and one of the toilets didn't seem to flush properly. I thought the prices were reasonable and overall, the food was quite good. The service was also very good. Definitely a decent place to eat, just don't expect any fancy dining experience. read more

My family and I have been coming here for years! If you're looking for a diner style restaurant serving large portion dishes for inexpensive prices Top View is the place to go! Although we've only ordered breakfast dishes while dining in, their menu is pretty extensive and they do offer lunch and dinner dishes as well. Their pancakes are my son's all time favorite and the breakfast skillets are my fav! I've tried the biscuits and gravy but they were just "meh". The servers are always friendly and great at keeping my coffee cup nice and full and the food always comes out in a timely manner. read more

It can be really busy here! They have quick service and the food doesn't take that long to be served. My favorites are the veggie skillet and the Popeye omelet. Both come with your choice of a side of toast or pancakes, they also are served with hash browns. I wasn't up to eating another hotel breakfast and luckily the Yelp app came to my rescue and provided me with this place. Top View is within walking distance from the majority of hotels at Midway. I ordered the Gyros Omelet, which was huge, and more importantly very tasty, a combination of gyros meat and feta that comes with hash browns and pancakes. The best thing about this place, besides the exceptional food, is that they use real eggs and serve real butter both of which seem to be a rarity these days. Great food at a great price. read more
