I was given a whole list of things that should be fixed but told that none of them would be a problem for my inspection. I requested that none of the work be done at the moment and I would be back after getting a good inspection sticker. Today I went for my inspection and failed for exactly what I took my car in for. (My not surprise face). I came back and spoke to Angela who informed me that I would have to do the same diagnostic all over again since it could be a different issue (same exact codes two months later). When I said I wasn't paying for a diagnostic for the same exact issue that wasn't fixed last time and probably wouldn't be fixed this time she tacked on to the conversation that I had previously declined replacing a dust cover wish had gone missing after some work they had done on my turbo. According to her, this dust cover could also trigger these codes related to DPF (mechanic had stated otherwise) and since I declined said work they would not waive the diagnostic. I reminded her that the mechanic had previously said why this cover should be replaced and that it was not related to these codes - personally, I think they should replace the cover since it went missing while the car was in their possession, but I have never pressed this issue. At this point she changed her tone and put a lot of emphasis on that they would absorb the diagnostic fee into any repairs tho they still would not wave the diagnostic fee. I asked if they would also be willing to absorb the last diagnostic fee as well and was told that it was for an unrelated issue so no they could not. End of the day, the first time I am the one that had to tell them that this could be a difficult issue to diagnose while they explained that it would not be an issue - totally false! They could have had a decent job out of this one. Oh well, they said if it was a problem I should just bring it back and they would get to the bottom of it. So that's what I did once I had proof that it was a problem and suddenly apparently we have a whole new story. Original review: These guys have always done me great! They acknowledge my understanding of cars and are willing to communicate on that level. They recognize when I say yes and when I say no. This company understands what it means to work for your customer and while I do most of my own work on my cars I am always happy every time that I do decide to bring my Audi here. Of course prices aren't cheap, I understand I bought an Audi. You get what you pay for. I would honestly say that they are entirely reasonable for a dealership and I will always come back.

I can't do it anymore. Especially under the dash. So off to the Dunkin doughnut, where all the knowledge is in town, to see who is the best in town is to fix my PU truck. It was hand down Monson road garage. Best I can say is they are honest, no hidden expenses and estimate was correct. The work was neat, and my interior was clean and back in good working order. As a professional myself, it was nice to see the care they took in doing my job. I will not hesitate to use them again in the future.

Do not take your vehicle here for work unless you want substandard quality. My original start date…read morewas pushed back do miscommunication about a required deposit. I needed my doors replaced on my truck, they were supposed to have 4 doors ready to come in, then were unavailable. I had to source out my own doors and they wouldn't give me a break because I had to spend my personal time and 1/2 a day to acquire them and come home. When I dropped off my truck finally to them, it sat outside during rain and snow for 2 weeks till the doors were supposedly prepped before working on any part of the truck. I even gave them another advancement as the work started as a sign of good faith. I stopped in periodically to check on the truck and pick up my original doors and if any problems needed to be addressed and a change in the bill. I made my intentions about the project from the very start and my expectations. The girl originally stated in the beginning the project would take 2 weeks total. About the 3rd week of the next month I was told my truck was ready. Upon inspection there was several deficiencies that were visible. They painted wrong hinges, didn't paint my upper bumper trim, cut the door molding off at the door which I had supplied, and left a knife gouge on my lower passenger door. I refused the work, made them repaid everything and gave them 1 week to do so. After 1 week I picked it up on a rainy/cloudy day, was told to look it over and get back if any other problems. After getting some time I went back through the truck, the inside of all 4 of my doors needed to be redone. Scratches on the inside from reassembly, orange peel on another, and a paint run on the outside. Their workers broke my ambient temp sensor and never said anything about it and tried hiding the wire behind a bracket. In going back for the second time the drivers door had to be readjusted because wind noise from the door not locking onto the door striker. One passenger door was higher than another door. Another door could about see the inside edge of a door on the other side sitting in the drivers seat. This took a whole month to fix. The hood had to be readjusted because it didn't line up. Picking it up, the bezel trim on the inside of the drivers door was loose, a retaining tab had been broken and never mentioned till I questioned someone about it. They did buy the new parts to replace, but expected better. I also had an engine light on when picking it up, but no explanation as to why. So I was inconvenienced in taking it to a shop to get check and going in to have repaired. When my side molding had to be recut, an adhesive was put on to paste it back on, now it's coming off the truck. The gap between the passenger door and fender is off. I had it with these people and not going back for these little things. Over 2 months to try and get my truck right is too much time. So beware people, very sloppy work, no quality and control be any means. I estimated they had to eat close to $3,000 to redo my truck. If you decide you want to go here, check your vehicle thoroughly !

Last year when my check engine light came on and I brought my car to them, they told me that my whole transmission needed replacing right then, because it could fail in the next few months. (I've waited to give this review for that reason). They were urging me to get the work started right then, a cool $2800 right after I was out of work with a cancer diagnosis, and in desperate need of a working car to get to Boston for life-saving treatment, which I even told them. I was panicking more than any other time in my life, so I went out of town to get a second opinion. The other shop I found (in Springfield) tinkered with it for a few minutes for free and assured me it would be ok and was not a safety issue. 14 months later, my transmission is still doing just fine. I wish I had the resources to talk to a lawyer; this is unconscionable business practice. It put me under even more totally unnecessary stress than I was already facing, and it wasn't even true. And for the service of looking at the transmission, they charged me over $90 without mentioning before that it would cost so much. Even while they were explaining all this work I supposedly needed, they treated me like I was wasting their time, because they (I think Dave) kept saying "normally we work on cars that need $5,000-$7,000 in work", like mine was barely worth the dirt on the tires to them because it's old and basic. I still can't believe they tried to do that to me while I was facing a threat like cancer, needing to know that my car could get me to appointments safely.
