Mad Hatter is under new ownership, and it's even better than the great place it was before…read more It's obvious that new owner, Brandon Leblanc cares about his business: he's close by at the front desk to hear what his customers are saying; he personally responds; and he couldn't be more attentive and responsive to a need. I had a problem with my Volvo hatchback. It wouldn't close. That also means it wouldn't lock. With all of the car theft in our area, I felt vulnerable. The parking lot was full. The place was obviously busy. But, Brandon immediately walked me out to the parking space where my Volvo sat, examined the problem, popped the hinge thingy back in place, closed my hatch, and smiled like I had done him the favor. Well, Brandon, here is my repayment for your immediate and amazing help. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. We will continue to patronize your awesome auto repair shop and emissions certificate center. You rock! Blessings for your success. I have no doubt you will it.

On top of this, when I asked him why he was vaping he to my face lied and said he wasn't. Totally dishonesty here. They also kept pushing back when it would be ready, and pushed it back 5 times. I don't mind allowing a mechanic to take days to fix an issue but be honest that it will take days and not giving multiple promises. The mechanics were so nice, it seems like Bobby is the root cause of the issues we experienced.

Heck, some dealerships will charge you $120 just to pull your car into their shop! I read their reviews before I took my SUV there, and it's true, they've earned all of their stars. I asked if they could find me a better deal, the rep., Dan, shopped around & saved us a couple hundred dollars on parts, very much appreciated. Dan also called frequently to keep me updated on progress. It's very close to our home, will be back with the Volvo for future works.

After being referred by a friend to come here for car service, I'm glad that I did. With a quick…read moredrive from my apartment I was able to schedule a same day service calling in around 8am and having the next couple hours as options for my oil change. Usually I would have to rearrange my schedule as I try to see what works, but with Country Auto Care same day is a major win in my book. Process was quick and simple confirming and establishing my profile in their systems and I was out the door as I left my car there to be serviced. Mark was my point man there walking me through it all from beginning to end and was able to provide a customee referral discount that make it all the sweeter. I was given a Keychain tag with 5 services with a 6th free. Trying always to support local businesses and with the service, price point of around $40 and a quick drive and drop off I'm sold.

He used to work at a dealership and has all the experience and knowledge necessary to do the work properly, efficiently, and affordably. He's an excellent example of a 21st century mechanic, employing the most current computer technology necessary to troubleshoot and repair what needs to be done and will save you hundreds over a dealer. The staff was frequently in contact with me and worked on my terms and emailed me an estimate before anything was done. There were no hidden fees and I paid exactly what I expected! Now as a resident of the area I won't go anywhere else. What a great find!

I was staying at the Fairfield Inn across the street and noticed that the pressure in my right rear…read moretire was low. I stopped at State Line just before getting on the interstate to head back to NJ. I asked if they had an air pump on-site that I could use. The gentleman at State Line (he was a gentleman) got a portable air pump, filled the tire with air, checked the pressure on all the other tires to make sure that all had the same pressure, and advised me to bring the car in for tire service at home if the tire lost pressure. He would not accept any payment from me for his work. I could not pay him in cash, so I offer this review in lieu of payment. A very rewarding experience.

Lyndale Garage is my go-to place for all things car related in the neighborhood. The service is…read morealways prompt and courteous. To give you an idea of their prices an oil change is $29.99 and the price to replace a starter on a 2008 Kia is $341 (obviously the price will vary depending on part prices). I forgot how much the inspection cost but it was around $20 or so. They did not charge me anything for diagnostics twice which was very nice of them! I believe they offer a AAA discount 10% (up to $50) check your AAA membership and ask Lyndale Garage about it. They offer a quick and thorough inspection on Saturdays (I believe 8am to noon?) which is convenient. There is a yellow line on the right side as you pull up to the garage, just park in that line and wait your turn (it may be beneficial to keep your car running so it's warmed up and the engine runs smoothly). They don't work on weekends which I think is loss of good business as that is the best time to bring your car in for problems so as it doesn't interfere with your Mon-Fri job. Having searched for mechanics who work on weekends, there are very few out there, this is a prime opportunity to capture all of the weekend customers in the area. The money might even offset hiring a weekend mechanic and service person? I can't speak about the mechanics as I've never interacted with them, but the woman who answers the phone sometimes and Dan at the front desk are always a pleasure to speak with! Overall I am very happy with this place, it seems like a family run business that won't rip you off like some shady car places. Definitely give them a try next time your car is acting up.
