After a few hours I got a call from one of the mechanic saying; his exact words " 1. My driver side power window switch was no good, 2. There was no sign on the door or at the counter about closing early or stopping inspections. I waited about 15 minutes before being told by the inspector that he wasn't doing any more inspections for the day because he was tired after being there since 8 a.m. He said he told the customer before me that he would be his last inspection -- but another customer wouldn't be responsible for telling me that, and he did not. If there's a cutoff time for inspections, it really needs to be clearly posted so people don't waste their time showing up well before closing and being turned away. Very poor customer service. I do wonder whether the owner or manager is aware of this decision to stop inspections early and the impact it has on customers.
