The timeframe of my life will now be labeled as BBBP and ABBP, "Before Blueberry Bread Pudding" and…read more"After Blueberry Bread Pudding," respectively. This dessert deserves its own fan page or even its own restaurant, it is really that good. I had heard good things from multiple people about Hanju Kitchen and was looking forward to trying it. The atmosphere of the Royal Bobcat is fun yet comfortable (I've been here for drinks a few times before, but never had the chance to try the food). The food was definitely yummy, but it was outshined by a million lumens by the bread pudding. I'm not sure if the blueberry bread pudding is a special, as the desserts were written on a white board. If it's only a special, please consider making it a staple dish. If you're in a 10 mile radius, or even more, you have to try it. I've had some pretty good desserts in my life, and even some not so great ones from some big name restaurants, but this, this was special. It came with some sort of cream on top. It wasn't whipped cream and wasn't ice cream. Regardless, it was delicious. Then you add in that vanilla ice cream with the warm, gooey richness of the pudding and it's a really dreamy experience. There was a matcha bread pudding on the menu, that I'm planning to try soon. I honestly want an entire blueberry bread pudding from Hanju instead of a cake for my birthday.

The decor & vibe here are wonderful! Fabulous drinks in a comfortable, stylish yet fun setting. We were wishing we could hang around longer into the evening for more drinks & jazz, but, alas, this visit wS about the food... While drinks are ordered normally at the bar, Hanju operates separately from a little window. A slight ring of the bell & we were immediately attended to by a friendly woman. The Korean/Cajun fusion menu has some very fun selections - we look forward to trying. The Sweet Spucy Gochujang Wings were as exciting as they sound! Super crispy, as Korean chicken should be with a delicious & complex sauce. We also ordered the Veggie Dumplings and were excited to see they they appeared house-made. So often, dumplings are simply cooked from frozen. These were delicious with the savory soy glaze. A great spot & fun, tasty food - we can't wait to go back for more!

Was so pleasantly surprised. NGL based on the name I always assumed Jahunger was Jamaican but it is indeed a Uyghur restaurant. I got the Jahunger Noodles with tofu and I really liked it. Good flavors and love that they have tofu / are accessible to other diets. I did think the dish was a little too oily but I still would get it again and have since I first tried. The honey cake is also delicious! They call it "not your average honey cake) but I've not had an average one to compare to, so the hunt continues lol. My only complaint is that all the dishware is plastic. I ordered one of the teas and the entire pot with the boiling water was plastic...not a fan of that.

The lamb skewers were tender, light seasoning and little gamey but not overly. I really enjoyed the meefeen, it definitely has a kick to it. The rice noodle was nothing I have had before. I was expecting the typical thin rice noodle from a package but these were the real thing. They were thick and the perfect texture. It's like the thickness of udon but texture of rice noodle. It is a tad oily which makes sense because I think the sauce is made with chili oil. I also tried the honey cake. The cake is moist, and paired well with the ice cream. I did not put much of the honey on top because it was already really sweet as is. It was an enjoyable slice of cake to finish the meal off. Great place and delicious food! I would order here again but open to try their other items than re-ordering what I had today.

It's a known Korean restaurant right by the Thayer street Providence. Inside is like a bar and has decent amount of seatings but can be busy on weekends as it's a popular spot. The place offers variety of Korean dishes but the place is known for the Korean fried chicken. We got gluten free bone in spicy Korean chicken, spicy Korean rice cake, and cheesy boneless fried chicken. I've come to the location with my friends and his partner and he couldn't have gluten. We had ordered gluten free fried chicken and I noticed that the chicken was more fresh and crispy. Since then i always order gluten free bone in fried chicken. Fried chicken was crispy with savory, sweet, spicy and tender. Cheesy boneless fried chicken had nice char and was sweet and savory. Spicy Korean rice cake was spicy, sweet and chewy. The food was pretty good overall. Spicy Korean chicken and spicy rice cake may be a bit too spicy for some and sauce for spicy rice cake is too much some times. Service was great. There was some issue with ordering and they gave us hot tea and made cheesy boneless fries chicken off our check. Overall, the place was good and a solid place for Korean fried chicken and some Korean dishes. Price is a but pricey but tips seem to be included in price so its not too bad. Solid Korean restaurant option in RI.

I didn't feel rushed out whatsoever and appreciated how the portions are reasonably sized. They don't overcrowd the table and make you more mindful of how much you'll order next. The individual pots are a huge plus for me. Everyone gets their own broth to cook whatever they want within close reach. The DIY sauce bar is only icing on the cake! Shabu will fill you up, especially on a cozy winter night. If you're looking for the best season to try, though I'd argue shabu always hits year round, take this cold RI winter to give this place a go.

When you walk in, you will be greeted by a nice hostess. There is a bar and then about 20 tables, some for 2 people, 4 people, and bigger groups. There are huge screens that were playing Kpop videos. I could see how the space can be used as a club after hours. After I told the hostess we would need a table for 2, she said the wait would be 10-15 minutes. I checked in on Yelp prior and saw the waitlist was less than 5 minutes so that was incorrect. However, we were seated really quickly, less than 10 minutes. She said the busboy cleaned quickly. There was a full list of cocktails, wine, beer, soju, and even shareable drinks. We ordered the Lychee Sangria that comes with white wine, lychee liqueur, fresh orange juice, passionfruit juice, and soda water with hints of peach, elderflowers, and lychee and the Asian Nectar, which is Pear Vodka, lychee liqueur, cranberry, and guava juice. Both drinks were delicious and very refreshing. The menu is pretty comprehensive of traditional Korean dishes. We started with 6 soy garlic wings. These came out hot and very crunchy. There was also a small side of radish. For entrees, we had the Yaki-Udon with bulgogi for an extra $3. The stir-fried udon noodles and bulgogi were very flavorful. The tteok-bokki came in a pan with rice cakes, fish cakes, egg, and assorted vegetables. It was a bit spicy, but it was very good. Every bite was very good. The check had a QR code which gives you an option to pay. There is also a Photo Booth station where you can take pictures and get it texted to you. The waitress was very nice and friendly. I could see that she was waiting on a few tables. I look forward to coming back here again.
