The atmosphere of the Royal Bobcat is fun yet comfortable (I've been here for drinks a few times before, but never had the chance to try the food). The food was definitely yummy, but it was outshined by a million lumens by the bread pudding. I'm not sure if the blueberry bread pudding is a special, as the desserts were written on a white board. If it's only a special, please consider making it a staple dish. If you're in a 10 mile radius, or even more, you have to try it. I've had some pretty good desserts in my life, and even some not so great ones from some big name restaurants, but this, this was special. It came with some sort of cream on top. It wasn't whipped cream and wasn't ice cream. Regardless, it was delicious. Then you add in that vanilla ice cream with the warm, gooey richness of the pudding and it's a really dreamy experience. There was a matcha bread pudding on the menu, that I'm planning to try soon. I honestly want an entire blueberry bread pudding from Hanju instead of a cake for my birthday.

Most of the time it's cauliflower crust pizzas that aren't actually keto, or standard salads with nonstandard marketing. The keto bowl looked as promising as anything else so I grabbed that and an order of wings. I also noticed the menu was a bit smaller than your average "buy everything frozen and throw it in the deep fryer" kind of place, so I saw that as a good sign. I've got to say that it was not the ho-hum, utility delivery place you get when ordering from some random new place. (The battered fries in the picture are definitely frozen and onion rings probably are, too... but really good fries from scratch, don't hold well in closed containers, and are a PITA and tough to do at delivery place volume.) The wings were a bit pricey compared to other spots, but if I was that picky I'd have ordered delivery direct. That said, they were actually totally worth it. Not too many people realize that making a good buffalo wing is a pretty technical process-- the wings hell to dry out, easy to make tough by not cook/par-cooking them enough, etc. Traditional buffalo sauce is tricky because butter sauces break really easily, so most places just use something straight out of a bottle. This was better than that. Skin wasn't super crispy but if you have sauced wings with crispy skin delivered, you will also either have dry-as-hell meat, have to smell wings all day long because you live immediately next-door to a great wing spot, or get guff from the genie for wasting one of your three wishes on perfect delivery chicken wings. That said the wings: were naked weren't rubbery weren't dry either were sauced with (approximately) traditional buffalo sauce flavor-wise (I did taste a teeeeeny bit of garlic which worked great) which was rich but not broken-- if that's bottled wing sauce I want to buy some, but I doubt it is. The keto bowl was also very good. Great amount of meat for the money. Must have been 12 ounces post cooking weight? They said steak, but I'm betting it's shin or another flavorful cut like that which they slow cooked in a CVAP or similar. Was steakier in texture than a pot roast or something, though.
