They've been churning out ice cream (pun intended) for almost 50 years. Today was my first time going inside the shop. In past times, I had ordered at the window. The inside is small but packs in a lot! Candy and other treats line the walls, a beautiful display of fudge and hand dipped chocolate goodies right in front of you. The young ladies at the counter were very nice, and accommodated my request for their favorite. For this shop, I was told the cookie butter flavor was everyone's current #1. I also got some apple flavored crocodile gummies and I was on my way. The cookie butter surprised me. I expected it to be very sweet, but instead the ice cream had some lovely deep caramel notes from the cookie butter and the big chunks of speculoos cookies were soft and easy to eat without being overwhelmed by sugar. Once again another great trip to the Ice Cream Machine and a reminder to not wait so long before I visit again.

Most recently, I tried their pumpkin ice cream and it did not disappoint! You can get ice cream one of several ways. The ones I remember off the top of my head can be bought either as a packed pint, in cups, several varieties of cones, sundaes, banana splits, cookie sandwiches, and floats. Lots of toppings and sauces to choose from as well. Staff is friendly and service is pretty quick. It does get quite busy here at times, and the parking lot is tiny, which means you might have to go across the street to park. While that's not a big deal for most people, being handicapped, it's a big downside for me, especially since you'd need to cross a very high-traffic street. This is why I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5. They do have an inside area where you can order as well, but you cannot sit/dine inside. There are a few picnic tables outside that you can use, but they also fill up quickly. Inside, you can also buy things like ice cream cakes, fudge, candy and other treats. It's a little bit of a trek for me, but I will definitely be swinging by anytime. I am in the area. Definitely worth checking out!

There's something for everyone in this small town spot, from vintage Mallomars and Sky Bars to wax bottles, jellybeans, and even some baked goods like cake pops and marshmallow bars. This shop will bring out the kid in everyone as you traverse through the small but well stocked space. The shop is family owned, and the proprietor was kind and welcoming to guests of all ages when I visited on a random weekday afternoon. I truly hope Sweet Treats thrives- this is just the kind of business that Easton's quaint Main Street needs!

They had different shake and sundae options to choose from as well as scoops. I got a small size but there was a lot of ice cream. It's provided by Bliss in Attleboro and while mine was a bit freezer burnt, I still enjoyed it. We ate our ice cream at some indoor picnic tables they had in a room downstairs off to the side of the shop. They had a TV playing "The Croods" main title on repeat. It was also windy and some tarp outside kept hitting the roof. The woman working was very kind to us. We were ordering a couple ice creams to go, and she offered to scoop them and hold onto them in the freezer while my brother and I ate ours there and then went outside to see the animals! That's right, animals!! They have a goat named Billy, a pig named Peter Porker, and a whole slew of chickens. You can buy feed for $1 and feed the chickens!! They have windows on multiple sides of the building and a fair amount of outdoor seating. The young woman at the window enthusiastically took on my request for her favorite scoop. She presented me with a cone of strawberry cheesecake ice cream and mentioned she scooped it to have extra graham cracker swirl, which is her favorite part. Love that! Because of the heat, I opted to eat my ice cream in the car. This ice cream packs a punch in sweetness. Between the cheesecake, the graham cracker swirl and the strawberry mixed in, this is a sweet tooth's dream cone. While sweeter than my preference usually, I did enjoy this cone down to the last bite! It was a fun little trip to come by here, and it's good to know when I'm in the area, I can stop by for some quality ice cream!
