[[HIGHLIGHT]]An ice cream shop that's inside! Very unique atmosphere with plenty of flavors to choose from.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My favorite flavor is dire wolf tracks but you can't go wrong with any of them! Staff is super friendly and what I love is if you eat there, it's served like you're at a diner! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of seating inside and a few seats outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Love this place!

The Keep is insanely delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Located in a convenient strip mall I have always enjoyed going in for a small scoop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is medieval themed and the addition of free water is always welcomed at ice cream places.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The girls who scoop the ice cream are incredibly kind and accommodating if you'd like to try a flavor, of which there are plenty. Many ice creams are made in house which leads to high quality and interesting flavors. I've tried the ooey gooey and blueberry cheesecake. My favorite is the ooey gooey as the cream cheese ice cream base is sweet but tangy and the butter cake is perfectly done. The blueberry cheesecake had a nice mascarpone base but I felt the toppings needed a little more flavor to be perfect. Definitely try all the flavors though! My only complaint is the goblets they serve the ice cream in- they don't have sides which makes scooping the ice cream a challenge. However, this is still a 5/5 place!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place was interesting. It was packed even though they were about to close.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very dated "grandmas livingroom" decor/aesthetic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's a lot of talking a movement going on around the ice cream which I did not like.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] All the employees are highschool girls. They look like apart of a volleyball team. Very short volleyball shorts they all wore. Lots of older men tipping getting ice cream without kids or families. I'm thinking it must be delicious! It was mid. Cold Stone tastes better. Me and my friend were just passing by and I wanted ice cream so I didn't think much of it. I'm not sure where we were or what the neighborhood was. Literally the only thing of color for miles was the chocolate ice cream. Not a diverse area whatsoever and the staff and patrons show it, which is fine. Hey, what's not for you is not for you, but I did feel out of place and stood out like a sore thumb. I will say when I got to the counter, the young lady that served me was very nice even though she was busy she allowed me to taste a few things and gave recommendations. I forgot what I settled on. It was not cheap and I also tipped the girls $5. I remember working fast food in highschool. I don't miss it. They seem to be having fun though. Overall, the ice cream was not unique. It's giving popularity for another reason.

Found this great place by accident in Cumberland!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a creative space for an homemade ice creamery! Game of tyrines , dungeons @ dragons kinda theme with an actual round table room you can play board games while you eat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The ice cream is great and they give great size portions!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's smells so good the minute you walk in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Plenty of help at the counter & they are all super nice! Definitely worth trying if you're an ice cream lover :) right next door to Chops too .

Don't sleep on the Keep!!!! This is the best ice cream I have ever had, and I've had a lot Everything is homemade from the cookie dough in the ice cream to the blueberry cheesecake to the chocolate crunchies to the carrot cake It's a little pricey but you definitely get your moneys worth in size and quality This is how you do ice cream Once you come here everywhere else is just inferior!!!

This is a long overdue review for The Keep's ice cream! My first visit ever was during their last weekend of the 2022 season, and it's a national tragedy that I have to wait until they reopen for the 2023 season later in spring. The TLDR is that their homemade ice cream is amazing, they have a zillion toppings to choose from, and you can even combine scoops if your debating between flavors! The team behind the counter was so nice and patient with me when I told them it was my first visit. They let me sample a bunch of flavors--which normally makes it easier to decide...but in this case it didn't because they were all so good! I landed on combining two flavors: the Honey Bee and the Game of Cones. The Honey Bee is a honey ice cream with generous chunks of a crunchy house-made honeycomb that melts in your mouth and is unlike anything else I've ever tried. So much so that I still remember it months after the fact! The Game of Cones is a riff on Americone Dream with chocolate covered waffle cone pieces swirled throughout. I added chocolate chips on top because why not? Counting down the days until they reopen in the spring!!

Great location, great ice cream!! I love ice cream so much and this hit the spot! Lots of flavors to try and they let you sample which I love and appreciate! The small was a generous portion so be hungry!

Foods/Drinks: This is the type of ice cream place that you can share every single type of ice cream…read morethat you get because they serve for multiple people in one specific ice cream item. Their ice cream is so tasty, and one of my favorite favorites is the Cookie Monster ice cream, which is ice cream with brownie in a cup, like a sundae. This ice cream was humongous. I mean, it could honestly feed two people easily. My husband got their strawberry milkshake, and he says it's very good, and he said it was TOO filling (what a great problem to have lol) When it comes to their ice cream, they are probably one of the top tier ice cream spots in Rhode Island! Location: This location is in Lincoln, and it has free parking on both sides of the location. It has windows outside to grab and go, and it's very casual and perfect for a quick ice cream date, family outing, or just grabbing for yourself. It's a pretty big ice cream location. I usually tend to go in the summer, so I'm not sure how it works during the winter. I have gone here multiple times throughout my lifetime since it's been open for a very long time. When I was younger, they would open the inside as well, and it was very nice and aesthetically pleasing, with very 80s vibes. I'm not sure if they still open it, but if they do, I would definitely take a look and eat inside as well! Service: The service is always quick, and they usually have a good set of staff, so you never feel like you're waiting too too long. Even on the hottest summer days, and long lines it's usually pretty quick to get your ice cream! I will continue to come here, and we'll probably be taking my future kids here as well!

Lincoln Creamery has the classic ice cream stop feel, and it was perfect stop after hitting Lincoln Woods. The service was the only issue we had. The line was long, which was expected, but each window was taking upwards of 5 minutes to order and get the ice cream, even for just one person. I was expecting a little bit quicker service, especially knowing they had a long line. Still, it was worth the wait!

The menu variety is incredible--they have endless flavor choices and tons of ways to order, whether you want cones, cups, frappes, or specialty sundaes. My absolute favorite is a small sundae with the Cookie Monster flavor. You get a huge portion for a great price--seriously, the sundae in my photo loaded with whipped cream, nuts, and a cherry was just a small! I ordered and got my order in just a few minutes! There's 3 lanes open so the line moves fast. There's plenty of seating on site, but if it happens to be packed, it's super convenient to just walk right across the street to the park. I'm pretty fussy about my ice cream and there are definitely lots of great options around and I'd put them right up at the top in RI. If you go here often enough you'll have some great batches with lots of fillings and flavors and some OK batches with a little less, but it's always good. Rich and creamy without any artificial feeling. Lines can be long and sometimes they go slower than others. I'm not usually in a big hurry when I'm going for ice cream so it doesn't bother me. I also don't find it any slower than other favorites in the area like Lincoln creamery, Wright scoop, west end creamery....etc. Last time we visited we had black raspberry Oreo and strawberry cheesecake and they were both great. It was a cooler night with a few drops so it was pretty quiet and we were in and out quickly.

They were finally open on a Wednesday when I was in the area - really appreciating their new extended summer hours - so some friends and I walked over. This is located in an easily walkable part of the city where street parking is pretty doable, so it's a great stop to work in to a friend hang or date night since it's near breweries and restaurants. I had my heart set on the Ube, but the other flavors were awfully tempting - I'm dying to come back for the Fruity Pebbles taco and/or ice cream sandwich ASAP! I ordered the Ube ice cream sandwich, which came on coconut cookies, was dipped in white chocolate, and covered with coconut flakes, for $6.50. The ice cream color was bright purple as Ube often is, and the cookies were soft and perfectly melt in your mouth despite being frozen. I was advised by the owner to let it sit for a few minutes before eating as they start out very cold. I could only stand to wait a few minutes before diving in, which ended up being a fine amount of time. The flavors were decadent, the Ube was so sweet and indulgent, like an extreme vanilla as I always describe it, but with a root/woodsy note to it that's hard to explain. I was totally in heaven while eating this! My friends loved their options: Thai iced tea sandwich, Fruity Pebbles sandwich, and Banana sandwich. The pistachio sandwich was reportedly a little too mild for some tastes. My friend got their limited edition ** corn and blueberry!!** flavor sandwich - WHAT!? So unique! I had to steal a bite and was pleasantly surprised - I didn't get blueberry in my bite, but it was like frozen corn chowder - not savory, but still a distinctly 'corn' flavor, not corn flakes, but true, actual, corn. The cookies were thin and square shaped and seemed like a cross between cornbread and a sugar cookie, although I'm not exactly sure what it was. I'd go back here to try more things in a heartbeat, and the amazing and large plants on display in this little shop give such a fresh, unique, and fun vibe. There are some small tables to eat at while you're here which came in handy for us, and the owner even let us hang out a few minutes past close, stating he'd be there anyways cleaning, so we didn't have to go wait outside in the rain - so sweet on all levels!
