We planned a two-day…read moreevent with our large extended family on Saturday and an open house/birthday party for my 90-year old parents on Sunday. With Angie's help, the planning was a breeze, the party was beautiful, and I was relaxed and could enjoy my family and guests. I met with Angie a couple of times before the event to finalize the plans. She developed several decorating and color themes for the decorations for me to choose from and even created beautiful hand-made invitations. She has great relationships with the vendors for tents, tables, chairs, and catering so we got great service and prices. (Zak at Roundz in Crofton gave us an amazing buffet that delighted everyone--including the vegetarians!) On the day of the parties, Angie showed up early to decorate the tables and make sure everything was set up. Angie designed the centerpieces, too. For the family reunion, she used hydrangeas from my garden with green and lavender table cloths. For the open house/birthday party on Sunday, she used huge sunflowers on the tables with yellow and blackstriped table cloths. To top it off, her baker decorated the cake with sunflowers! It looked beautiful under the tent in my yard. She even went to the store later to get more ice and drinks. My family and friends had a wonderful time. Angie is very professional and also easy going so I stayed calm (even with 50 people at my house!) I could tell she had EVERYTHING under control and I didn't have to worry about a thing. We were so delighted with Angie's help, we've asked her to be the cooridnator for my daughter's wedding next spring. I'm sure it will be a great event with Angie's help--I'll post a review on that event, too. I'd recommend AJK events to my friends without hesitation.

I just needed someone to help me execute the day of and to coordinate with all my vendors. I found Yosira via Instagram using the hashtag (I think - #dmvweddingdayofcoordinator or something like that). To provide some color, my wedding was scheduled for October 5th, 2019 and I started searching for a day of coordinator around middle of August 2019. I did not have the luxury of time and I really appreciated Yosira's quick response. I reached out to her using her website. I received a response from her within 24 hours and she scheduled a call to discuss within a few days. After our call, I received an invoice. So, between the day I reached out and getting an invoice was probably 5 - 7 days max. It was very efficient process, which I really appreciated. Working with Yosira was a breeze! She was amazing to work with. She was very thorough, understood my vision and executed on my vision impeccably. She has a great eye for detail. She asked really great questions and thought about things I didn't even remember / consider. She helped me with finding food and drink vendors. The wedding was perfectly time managed. All my vendors knew where to be and what time to show up. She had a very structured timeline that she shared with me and communicated to the vendors. For the service and execution she rendered, I'd have happily paid 25% more than the quote because it was such an excellent service. She went above and beyond on my expectations and I highly recommend her!
